Dr. Ye Kyaw Myint (Dentist)

Fantastic experience: My whole family have been with Dr Myint for years, so long I cannot remember but at least 20 so I certainly have complete faith in him and all the care he has given. He has seen me through the usual replacement fillings, as well as the more complex treatment of crowns, root canals, teeth whiting and also teeth straightening with the Six Month Smile. I have complete trust in his work and feel relaxed and calm in his care. Can highly recommend him as a dentist and hope he will remain in the area after his travels.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ye Kyaw Myint has been my dentist since 2020, when I began my Invisalign journey with him. Before starting treatment, I had a detailed consultation with Dr. Myint, during which he explained every stage of the process, including the costs involved and any dental adjustments that would be required to achieve the best possible results. He provided clear and comprehensive information throughout, and we worked together to decide on the treatment plan that was right for me. My treatment programme lasted slightly longer than initially anticipated due to the Covid-19 lockdowns. However, Dr. Myint remained in regular contact throughout this period and continued to provide support and reassurance whenever needed. I was absolutely delighted with the results of my treatment, and six years on, I am still so pleased that I made the decision to begin my Invisalign journey with Dr. Myint. The results have given me so much more confidence, and I no longer feel self-conscious about smiling in photographs! Since completing my treatment, Dr. Myint has continued to be our family dentist, despite the fact that we do not live in Deal. My husband was so impressed with the results of my treatment that he also decided to become a patient of Dr. Myint and is now halfway through his own treatment. He is already looking forward to seeing the finished results. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Myint by my own dentist following a few years of discomfort from an old crown on one of my front teeth. An implant was suggested. I had developed a fear of dentists after having what turned out to be a lot of unnecessary dental work following a pregnancy in the mid 1990’s and some particularly distressing dental work several years ago. I was very apprehensive, not only by the cost of the treatment but also because it meant that the tooth would need removing. Dr Myint was very calm and reassuring and talked me through the whole process so I decided to go ahead. During the extraction and the following appointments he put me at ease, I think his casual chats with his assistant helped with my anxiety! Everything went well and I now have a lovely new tooth. Having thought that I wouldn’t want to repeat the procedure, I now feel that actually it wasn’t half as scary as I thought it would be and would probably do it again if necessary. I would definitely recommend Dr Myint and really hope he will be available to fit me with another implant if necessary in the future.

Fantastic experience: Dr Myint was recommended to me by a retired private dentist as I was having an issue with reoccurring infections due to the root being left after a crown got broken. I saw him the next day and he removed the root. I have also had 2 implants due to time expired crowns. The roots were not easy to remove. Dr Myint explained all of the options to me and I decided to go with the implants. Dr Myint is very professional and extremely patient when explaining treatments. Fantastic experience: Dr Ye Kyan Myint is a brilliant dentist. I have had an extraction and implant and Invisalign teeth straightening along with regular routine check ups. He is so gentle you hardly feel his hands in your mouth. He has been very attentive with regards to my dental hygiene, suggesting how I might improve brushing and cleaning too. I have always found him to be friendly, professional and very keen on the preventative side of dentistry. As my teeth have always been a bit crooked he suggested Invisalign. Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr Myint for 20 years, after having been with many other dentists beforehand.I developed an extreme fear of the dentist after being traumatised by the school dentist as a child. In the past I would be awake all night worrying about the dental appointment the next day, and suffer nausea.Dr Myint understood how I felt and was incredibly kind, understanding and calming. Now I don’t even think about my appointment beforehand, I’m totally calm and even enjoy chatting with him when I visit, he always has a friendly smile. I lived abroad for 7 years but still kept him as my dentist, because I couldn’t face going to someone new. He and his wife always went out of their way to ensure I had an appointment on my trips back to the UK, sometimes at short notice. He keeps abreast of new advances and technology in dentistry and always ensures that you understand whatever treatment procedures you have. Some years ago, I needed an old crown replacing which I thought I would not be able to tolerate asI have a bad gag reflex and cannot tolerate impressions. The crown had been fitted under sedation. Dr Myint assured me that it wasn’t a problem as he had the technology to create the new crown without the need for impressions. The crown was replaced and the whole procedure was stress free. I thoroughly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I started going to Dr Myint when my previous NHS dentist couldn't provide the care I wanted, and was recommended by my wife who had used him for a few years. She was right, and the difference in quality between the two was like night and day. The dentistry was in a different league - he made and fitted three crowns all in one afternoon using very modern equipment and had a 3D mouth scanner to ensure a perfect fit. The NHS dentist had made excuses to avoid doing them. He also replaced a couple of visible white fillings that the previous dentist had done and which had discoloured quite quickly. These new replacements were done a couple of years ago and remain pristine. Dr Myint has an easy manner and is very good at making sure you're relaxed and comfortable. All the work I've had done has been pain free. I now have regular checkups and have no hesitation in giving my highest recommendation.

Dr. Myint treated me with understanding and solved my problem. On returning to live in the UK, I immediately signed up to his practice in Deal and have been more than happy with his care. Fantastic experience: Six years ago I decided I was fed up with my existing crowns breaking and needing repairs all of the time,so I contacted Dr Ye Kyaw Myint at Park St Dental for a consultation,he was great and put me at ease straight away.He explained the best options available.I decided to go for the complete upper teeth extraction and replacement with implants and what a great decision it was .(he also inserted 2 implants on the lower jaw at the same time.)I now smile with complete confidence. Fantastic experience: I first saw Dr. Ye Kyaw Myint when I needed a cracked lower molar removed. Having lost my other lower molar a couple of decades earlier, I was very interested in getting implants this time. Dr. Ye carried out both lower molar implants, some gum work on my lower front teeth & whitening. I had full confidence in him throughout the whole process — everything was explained clearly, the treatment was carried out with great care, and the results are absolutely perfect. I’m delighted with how everything has turned out. We’re very lucky to have Dr. Ye Kyaw Myint here in Deal — I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Fantastic experience: I attended an appointment with my dentist Dr. Ye Kyaw Myint today for a checkup which included an X-ray. I’m pleased to say everything was okay. Three years ago Dr Myint treated me by putting in 4 implants which took a lot of work as it was touch and go as to whether this would work for me. He explained everything very carefully including that he could not absolutely guaranty the work. However I’m pleased to say it has worked brilliantly and I am really pleased and satisfied with the work.

Fantastic experience: I am writing to say how pleased I am with the dental work completed by Dr Ye Kyaw Myint last week, Thursday, 21st August. My husband and I had been attending Dr Myint's clinic using Denplan for some twelve years, since we moved to Broadstairs and were always happy with our care. Last year I unfortunately lost a back bottom molar, which meant I had now lost two molars on the right side, so I asked about my options. He had already fixed an implant on the bottom left side years ago so I opted to have two implants on the right so my teeth would be even again. After taking some X rays, Dr Myint explained how he would have to rebuild the bone in my jaw to support the implants. I had every faith in his knowledge and expertise so decided to go ahead. Now, several months and appointments later, I have my two new teeth. It is still early days, but I already feel more confident in the knowledge that if I smile broadly, there won't be any unsightly gaps. I can also eat on both sides of my mouth. So all in all, I would recommend Dr Myint for his skill and professionalism

Fantastic experience: I lost a crown and was seen very quickly by Dr Myint. He took great care to examine the situation and then consider all options. He explained these carefully and thoroughly, involving me in the decision making. Within ninety minutes all told he had produced and fitted a new crown. Amazing! Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Myint since 2018. Prior to seeing Dr Myint, I had always had a fear of going to the dentist which was sparked at a very young age when a procedure went wrong and I was rushed to hospital. I have never had such an understanding dentist like Dr Myint. He has encouraged me to be proactive with my dental care. A couple of years ago, I had a problem with a couple of teeth near the front that needed extraction. He explained all options to me clearly in terms of outcome, cost, guarantee on the treatment and what I could do. With initial trepidation, I opted for 2 implants and it was the best decision of my life! The surgery was quite involved including bone grafts and many appointments but throughout, I was give the encouragement and reassurance to carry on with the treatment and actually I strangely enjoyed the experience? The two very visual implants went well and looking back, it was relatively pain free for what was involved. The surgery changed my confidence level no end and I now love to smile for a photograph. From being terrified of going to the dentist, I now look forward to maintaining my dental health thanks to Dr Myint and his team.

Fantastic experience: I came to Dr Myint after losing an upper tooth and needing to replace with an implant. I had heard good things about him and although my case was quite complex I never gave up hope that the end result of having an implant could be achieved. His skill and professionalism is second to none. He made me feel so at ease and he also has a great sense of humour which definitely helps in these times. I can honestly say that he made whole process so much easier for me. The dental nurses were so friendly and helpful too. Finally after 2 bone grafts and plenty of healing time I eventually got my implant and Dr Myint was so meticulous to make sure that I was happy with the end result. Fantastic experience: Dr. Ye Kyaw Myint did 2 top front teeth implants for me and gave me my smile back. He was recommended to me by the denture specialist who had made a temporary denture for me. The implants look so natural and match the colour of my other teeth so well, that no-one has a clue that they are implants! Dr. Myint explained the whole process and answered any questions I had, clearly and simply. The process is long and expensive and at times a little painful. So, if you are going to go ahead with it, you need to know you are going to be happy with the outcome. I would definitely recommend Dr. Myint to give you that happy outcome.

From initial consultation, to the adorable Charlie handling all the logistics and Ye with his expertise and knowledge, guiding through the entire implant process, I couldn’t recommend anyone else. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Ye Kyaw Myint by my regular dentist. I have been with this dentist for over 20 years and therefore have great faith in her. I was a little nervous about the procedure (implant) but Dr Myint was very reassuring. He explained the very careful process in detail - both verbally and in writing. This was very helpful as it is a detailed process (necessarily so). Dr Myint and his team were kind and gentle and very professional. Thoughout the procedure, which was surprisingly painless) I was kept informed. I hope not to need another implant - but if I do I would not hesitate to go back to Dr Myint. His care was exemplary.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Dr Myint for over 10 years and have been very pleased with the excellent service. He replaced a crown using the latest technology which encouraged me to have implants on either side of my lower jaw. The teeth had been extracted over 50 years ago while I was still at school. Although the procedure was quite involved, I had every confidence in Dr Myint and I have been delighted with the results. The care during and after the procedure was exceptional. The implants have transformed my life not only from by a cosmetic point of view but I am able to enjoy a wider range of foods.

I was extremely nervous after having years of dental work as a teenager after an accident the only dentist I had learnt to trust was my own. When he took over from our previous dentist he showed considerable interest in our needs, advising without judgment the next steps in our ongoing dental treatments. Fantastic experience: I first met Dr Ye Kyaw Myint 20 years ago when I needed dental care. I was about 50 years old then. I had lost my top front teeth in a car accident at the age of 20 and I had been wearing a horrible plastic denture for about 30 years. I didn’t prioritise my dental health; for many years I had even slept with my denture in. This caused my gums harm, and my few remaining upper teeth were now also in jeopardy. Until this time I had received some very dubious dental care and advice. My previous dentist said to me “your teeth are supposed to hold your denture in, not the other way around, there is nothing I can do for you.” I decided to give Dr Myint’s practice a visit, this was a very good move! We immediately hit it off. He is a totally charming gentleman who has always shown me and my family the greatest respect and understanding. He has totally rebuilt my dentition. I now have 4 upper implants securing 12 teeth; nothing moves at all. I have several single tooth lower implants too. It really is like having my own teeth again, I can’t tell the implants from the teeth, they are that good. Following his guidance my dentition has improved and remained healthy and stable for many years. Most of my check-ups are over very quickly and usually finish with the words “keep up the good work. . All the restorative work he has done for me and my family has been perfect first time. The skill, precision and love of his work is phenomenal. Where Dr Myint goes, my family will also go. We have no desire at all to go to another dentist"

Fantastic experience: Dr Myint has been my dentist for many years and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. He took over the practice from my previous dentist. He has a lovely calming manner. Two years ago I had a tooth break at the front, Dr Myint gave me all of the options to consider, I opted for an implant. He helped me to understand the full process and explained everything as we went along. My implant is amazing, it looks very natural and I forget it is there.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Myint by my dentist who recommended I have 2 implants to replace my four lower front teeth, as I was in danger of losing these. I have always had a bit of a dentist phobia and it took some courage and time (about 18 months) to actually accept the referral to Park Street practice. I had an appointment with Dr Myint who explained what having the implants would involve and I summoned all my courage and went ahead with the recommended treatment. On the day I was very nervous and apprehensive but all the team at Park Street dental were all very reassuring and welcoming and this helped a lot. They really understood my fears and did everything they could to reassure me. I survived the removal of my teeth and the insertion of two implants which would then have 4 crowns to replace my own teeth. The procedure was uncomfortable but I was not in pain at any time and I felt very confident in Dr Myint. After care was clearly explained and a couple of months later, once the gums had healed, I had the crowns put in - this was a much easier procedure. I am so glad I made this choice and am very grateful to the professionalism, patience and kindness of Dr Myint and his team throughout the process. I now no longer dread going to the dentist and have transferred to Park Street practice for all my dental care. My only regret is not having the implants done sooner! I love my implants which look, feel and work so much better than my old teeth which they replaced! Thanks for giving me my smile and confidence back!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Ye Kyaw Myint for a few years. I went specifically for implant treatment. I had two done initially and since I have had a bridge with two further implants. I am not the world's most relaxed person at the dentist but Dr. Myint makes you feel very comfortable. I couldn't recommend him higher. It is wonderful to have this implant service in Deal because it is so convenient for me. Also has the added benefit for me of being able to recover close to home.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately I experienced a failed implant on my front tooth with two previous Dentists. My case was challenging. I spent two years in discomfort with an ill fitting denture, suffering lack of self-esteem and withdrawing socially. I was beginning to lose hope.
