Fantastic experience: Lovely dentist very friendly and efficent

Negative experience: Not the best experience that I have had with a dentist. Visited for a filling yesterday, once the dentist was complete, I explained 3 times that it didn’t feel right. I could not bite down evenly and there were sharp bits protruding. After the 3rd attempt of the dentist trying to rectify the chair was elevated and I was told “see you in 6 months”. No aftercare information at all. Later that evening the filling has fallen out and I have a cut tongue. I am now having to visit an emergency dentist this morning. Also, there was a teenager sat in the corner of the dental surgery. I assume on work experience or something, but no explanation of who he was, why he was there and was I happy for him to be there. I found it embarrassing trying to explain the issues with the filling with a child I do not know sat in the corner of the room. Not an experience that I want to repeat so will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Highly impressed by the service I received on my first visit to Bridge House Dental Practice. All of the staff I encountered were helpful, polite and knowledgeable. The treatment I received was explained fully to me, and was carried out with care.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the dental therapist and hygienist, the latter is efficient and informative on how to care for your teeth and all the staff are friendly and professional. It is reassuring to have regular checkups and to know help is there if you have an emergency.

Fantastic experience: So grateful to find an NHS dentist after being without one for over 5 years. Absolutely no complaints.... but an extra mention for the fabulous hygienist and assistant... Its so long since we have seen one.... While you think your teeth are clean, it's not until you have a session with them that you realise they are not quite so clean as you thought. Negative experience: I felt a little disappointed. I feel they were more money oriented towards procedures than anything else!! That’s just my opinion. I was a private care patient who has now moved to another practice. I will say the ladies in reception are brilliant.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Milena this morning 7/10/24. She was amazing, I’m quite a nervous patient but she made me feel calm, from the moment I walked in. Explaining everything she was doing, and what she was about to do. She was very gentle and very professional.

Negative experience: Dentist was great but hygienist was very painful and I believe has dislodged a filling and , I called the surgery , no one was able to answer the phone so left a voicemail and I am still waiting to be called back . Not the usual great service I receive.

Fantastic experience: Louise as always was pleasant and cheerful. She is very careful to make sure that you are okay with whatever treatment you are having, and to make it as comfortable as possible. I would recommend Louise without any hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and welcoming to myself and husband on our first visit. Gentle and caring examination of my teeth and thoughtful when x ray made me gip. Unhurried explanation of state of my teeth and gums and satisfying dates and times offered for hygienist and next check up. Pleased with new practice, although not NHS and happy they can offer treatment after last dentist not now open.

Positive experience: Just visited the dentist to have a checkup. I was only in the chair for 10 minutes, and the dentist was pleased that my teeth were clean and healthy. They just need a further clean by the hygienist next time. I was feeling slightly nauseous so the dentist kindly gave me a drink of water.

Fantastic experience: The building might be a bit old and in need of some work but the service I received was brilliant. From the lady on the reception to both of the clinical staff that I saw, including the support staff, were all brilliant. I’m so glad that I was able to get registered here after the original dental practice I was with closed down. It’s also closer to where I currently live too. Win, win!

Fantastic experience: Have used Bridge House for years, and always recommend them. Helpful staff, good service and both Louise and Marina do a great job! However I have since discovered that I have been charged £33.20 more than the NHS charges for my 2 procedures! There is no list of charges displayed in the practice either.

Fantastic experience: After 31 years of being terrified of dentists I now have Milena and she is without a doubt the best dentist I’ve ever been to. She explains and puts you totally at ease. She goes above and beyond to not only help My pain but to actually make sure it looks as good as possible despite illness ruining my teeth and as an NHS patient that is practically unheard of. She explains, takes her time, doesn’t judge and actually listens to me. She is just as fantastic with my children and is ensuring they don’t grow up terrified of going to the dentist either.

Fantastic experience: Haven't needed the dentist for the past 14 years therefore I was taken off my childhoods dentist list. However the past month I've suffered with my wisdom teeth so I got in touch with my old dentist Bridge House got put on the list with no hassle and delt with very quickly. Receptionists helpful and Melina Petrova is a lovely, caring dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dentist Louise Wilson has been outstanding in her provision of dental care over many years. She manages to combine skilled professionalism with sensitivity and a great sense of humour. I cannot speak too highly of her. She is very ably supported by attentive, competent dental nurses and warm reception staff.

Fantastic experience: Well i cannot fault a certain dentist called Louise W...... every visit is stress free, the virus precautions are slightly not helpful due to having to sit outside in the cold. However worse things happen at sea,and my latest visit was just as enjoyable. She is a Joy .now in 2023 she is still a joy to to visit.This time Louise was not available so Paul did the work with no pain thanks Paul.

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with the treatment I received today, a filling with Paul, never felt any pain and was relaxed and comfortable. I remember taking my great grandson to this practice last year, where he received excellent treatment, at the time I thought I wouldn't mind if this was my practice, strangely it now is, as I had a problem and my own practice announced a forth coming closeure, I count my self very fortunate to now be a patient with this practice, also received excellent treatment with the hygienist and the reception staff so very helpful and efficient. Positive experience: I had my first appointment with this dentist having recently moved to Ripon, she was very nice and seemed good. I am very upset that this practice refused to treat me on the NHS after I was an NHS patient in Scotland. Is this racial prejudice?

Fantastic experience: Always impressed with personal service and care.Patient care and health issues always checked and if more experience required a senior dentist is called in to consult At first examination check dentist was very caring giving lots of explanation to me about state of my teeth. Very confident and knowledgeable. We left BUPA practice in Ripon when it closed at short notice a year ago and were welcomed here. Now realise how we had been neglected at previous surgery for several years due to low grade/qualified dentists who just did the NHS basics.Delighted to have joined the practice and with specialist treatment/care for my gums things have improved dramatically. Fantastic experience: Called in this morning because of a very sensitive tooth. Was given a same day appointment. All the staff were very helpful and understanding. The Dentist found the cause, which is now being treated and a future plan has been put in place. I have been at bridge house since 1986 and I have never been let down. Fantastic experience: Paul Tildsley done part of a root canal for me today ,found the three roots very quickly and never felt the needle going in to the gum to numb the area above damaged tooth ,Idid comment it’s the best root canal job I’d had done ,but have to go back for clean out and tooth filled up but made me feel very comfortable with treatment and explained all throughout what he was doing ,been back for a further dressing of root and all staff very helpfull,been back for further flush of root canal and new dressing all staff helpfull
