Fantastic experience: Dr Evie and Nurse Shikha are fantastic. I’m typically nervous when I need to go to the dentist but their gentle demeanour and professional nature truly put me at ease. The practice is lovely, and the receptionists are fantastic too. The whole experience is seamless and it’s a great, clean, well-run practice. I was in and out for a minor filling within 15 minutes - Dr Evie is really experienced and it shows. 10/10, can’t recommend KT Dental enough.

I have very sensitive gums and front teeth, and scale removal tends to cause me pain, but not this time - the hygienist recommended the best procedure for me and was very careful too. I decided to try this dental practice, as it’s close to my work, and I’m very pleased with the result and the whole experience.

Positive experience: So far not bad, the receptionist is friendly, very soft voice. The floor is flat, it makes it easy for me to walk, I don’t see them very busy. Pity because as newly refurbished building, should attract more customers. Maybe they are too expensive.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Evie for a number of years now - I am so happy to have found such a competent dentist, who I can trust!! I feel I am in very safe hands, she has never recommended any unnecessary procedures, and is very skilled at minimising pain or discomfort when doing dental work. Negative experience: Beware of their questionable recommendations aimed at recruiting private patients! I was deeply disappointed by my first appointment at what I believed to be an NHS dental clinic. It quickly became clear that the primary aim was to persuade me to opt for expensive, non-essential private treatments, including a £150 white filling and a £450 B-splint—totalling £600. This was particularly shocking given that I had seen a private dentist just a month earlier, who had taken a radiograph and assured me that everything was in good condition. In stark contrast, the dentist at KT Dental suggested there might be deterioration beneath an existing filling and recommended removing and replacing it “just in case.” I was also told I needed to sleep with a B-splint or risk damage to my teeth. I found these claims alarming and potentially exploitative. If I had not recently received another opinion, I might have agreed to these invasive and unnecessary procedures, incurring a significant cost. It's deeply troubling that such pressure is being applied in what is supposed to be an NHS setting. Patients should be able to trust that they are receiving impartial, medically necessary advice—not sales pitches disguised as care.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist in NW London! Dr Evie was thorough, caring and you can tell instantly she’s passionate about providing proper dental care to her patients. All treatment options were thoroughly explained and she went through each X-ray in turn and answered all the questions I had. Can’t recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: KT dental is my current clinic and they have also nhs appointments. Most recent treatment has been with hygienist Joanna and I can't be more happy of the result, she'll make you feel very comfortable and is very nice and professional. 100% recommended.

Fantastic experience: My dentist Jaqulin was so nice and professional too. Very polite and unpretentious, which is very refreshing. Made me feel very comfortable and sincerely cared that I was OK during an hour long procedure. Her assistant was also great. The both did an excellent job and also explained clearly the procedure and choices.

Negative experience: Dentist told me that she was an experienced dentist with lots of practice doing root canals. Gave me appointments all 1 month apart and never disclosed to me that there was a serious complication with my root canal that she knew about even before she started a job she eventually disclosed she was not skilled enough to complete - then 6 hours and 2 months later she decides to tell me that in fact she doesn't have the skill to complete the root canal and this after I've been left in pain for 2 months and that she knew all along that she might not have the skill to complete the job. When I asked her why she didn't share any of this information with me previously she just looked at me dead eyed and said nothing. Then she suggested that I pay them money to have a better dentist complete the root canal. Then told me that I needed to be referred to a hospital and that should always known that might be necessary. Then refused to refer me to a hospital until she had completed other work. My next appointment had to be cancelled because my 5 year old son was sick with a high fever. Resulting in my being dismissed from the practice with a half done root canal and now a serious infection in my mouth because of them. I have long covid but when the infection struck she tried to make me take antibiotics even after I explain to her that my immune system was down. These people only take NHS patience in order to circumvent them into paying patients. They are rude they are greedy and they are unskilled. I am in a lot of pain because of this dentist and then they refused to finish the job. Pain I was not in before I attended this practice. Very very angry. Save yourself they only care about your money.

Fantastic experience: The service I recieved today was exemplary from start to finish, as I'm not a great patient regarding fear of the drill, I was put at ease, and I honestly didn't feel a thing, I'm slightly embarrassed feeling the way I did, and to go through this with such ease was amazing to me, thank you so so much !!

Fantastic experience: I just got back from my first check-up at KT Dental with Dr Evie and Nurse Resmi. The appointment started bang on time(!!). Dr Evie was professional and thorough, and nice to talk to. I can’t fault the experience and am happy I joined this practise thus far! Edit: I just went back for a second time and the treatment was great again. This time I visited hygienist Resmi and nurse Sheeba. They were very nice, took me through what they were going to do and why in great detail and did an excellent job.

Fantastic experience: Came to this dentist after very poor experience with my dentist in Stoke Newington (London, NHS) and Germany (private)and with an emergency. From the beginning, I felt reassured and confident due to the thorough approach and assessment in Dr Evie, who is a most caring, patient and competent dentist I have come across. She has a very positive personality and attitude towards her job and patients and her professionalism is reflected in her assistants, presently nurse Shikah, making both my husband and I feel we are in very good hands.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to KT Dental (originally at Brecknock Road) practice for about four years now and I only have good, if not excellent things to say. For someone who has quite bad anxiety, going to the dentist often can feel like the end of the world for me on a good day. I've also had my share of tooth sagas, of course! Dr. Evie and hygienist Jo have not only been incredibly understanding and empathetic even when I could have been a better patient, but they totally transformed going to the dentist to something positive for me. My teeth and dental hygiene have been saved thanks to them - but most importantly, their kindness kept me coming back even when I was fretting to the max inside and I actually think I may not be smiling as widely as I do today if it wasn't for them. Dr. Evie performed a flawless root canal on one of my front teeth - I did not feel one ounce of pain and it looks fantastic - it even made it onto a submission for one of her dentistry qualifications or awards I believe . My tooth is famous! She also gave me honest but empathetic advice on how I should proceed with my dental work after a dental emergency, in a way that I don't think any of the other dentists I dealt with in the past could have - especially as someone with extreme health anxiety. Jo equally merits a stellar review thanks to her understanding, patience but also for her clear but thoughtful instructions on how to improve oral hygiene. As a kid, my hygienists would blurt at me about how bad it was my gums were bleeding and nobody once sat down with me and told me how to floss or use interdental sticks. Jo does and it makes all the difference that she is always so kind about it too. - gesss what? Now my gums don't bleed! She has also been determined and serious at times when I needed to improve and I appreciate that a lot. It's not said enough how rare but incredibly needed and valued dentists and key health workers with this level of expertise and emotional intelligence are. If you are local and have health anxiety like me, please go to this dentist - I promise you will most likely come out feeling better than the billions of anxious thoughts you had on the way! Fantastic experience: Nice friendly service and explaining how to look after your teeth after the job was done by Resmi & Sheeba. One thing I must say, ( of course nothing to do with Resmi & Sheeba) is that you to pay in 2 parts, which I would not of been able to afford up 2 weeks before the treatment. The process to register with and get an initial appointment was seamless. I couldn't be more pleased with my visit with Dr. Evie and Hygienist Jo. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed. At my very first appointment Dr. Evie was thorough in her examination, taking the time to explain each step of the process and providing a detailed analysis of my teeth including aftercare. She highlighted areas that needed attention and offered personalised advice and an action plan on how to achieve and maintain optimal oral health. This followed a visit to hygienist Jo who did an outstanding job, with a further examination of my teeth, and a thorough clean and polishing of my teeth. I could feel the difference immediately; my teeth felt clean, smooth and fresh. Jo was gentle yet effective, ensuring that I was comfortable throughout the entire cleaning process along with Shiba, her assistant. She also provided valuable tips on brushing techniques and the importance of flossing daily, which I found very helpful. During my initial visit to the dentist they both introduced me to the benefits of using an electric toothbrush and interdental flossing which has been an absolute game changer in maintaining my oral health. I highly recommend KT dental for anyone looking for exceptional dental care. Dr. Evie and Hygienist Jo are incredible, super friendly and always open to hearing whatever silly question you may have and imparting a wealth of knowledge. Their professionalism and dedication to patient education and patient satisfaction truly set them apart. Negative experience: They do not inform you of the fees until you get to the dentist. The check up is not thorough, it’s rushed. My previous dentist informed me that I need fillings and the dentist here after an incredibly quick look said I don’t need anything, even though my teeth feel sensitive. Definitely going back to my old dentist now.

Negative experience: The hygienist who works both here and at brecknock is 5 stars, not to be mistaken with reception staff , manager, owner or dentists whom all provide zero stars. Dentists today all seem to be vultures, they just want your money. For starters, under the NHS with a dental appointment you are entitled to a dental clean and polish. This is never done so you are forced to pay £70 + . Dentist had a 5 minute appointment enough time to sign paperwork (forced to do it online prior to attending so not sure why I was signing again twice) so they can claim more cash of NHS and to say nothing is needed but comeback in 3 months to spend more cash on nothing? It's sooo corrupt and scandalous but the same in most, so we're all just forced to accept this?

Fantastic experience: I used to be scared of going to the dentist but now my dentist and hygienist are so lovely and helpful I feel much more relaxed about it. Just had a wisdom tooth out without any problems.

Fantastic experience: Very thorough and professional service. The hygienist Resmi explained clearly what the process would involve and was efficient in her work and the nurse Sheeba was very attentive to any sensitivity I experienced to make sure I was doing OK. They did a great job working together as a team.

Fantastic experience: It would be an understatement to say that Dr. Evie and her team have been exceptional. From the very beginning, they have listened and provided a well-defined treatment plan. Their courteous demeanor and ability to establish a strong rapport have instilled great confidence in their clinical expertise.

Negative experience: Very annoyed, disgusted and unhappy. Receptionist lied to me regarding being able to speak to the dentist as I was running late. I called around 15 mins before as I was stuck in traffic on public transport. I spent an hour travelling to the practice only to be told that the dentist did not want to see me again as an NHS patient. I arrived at the practice and begged to at least talk to the dentist to explain my lateness which was unavoidable, but there was no empathy by the staff. The receptionist recorded me as someone who had deliberately missed my appointment, which was a boldfaced lie. He Lied about the number of chances allowed before a patient would be de registered. Claimed that patients are only allowed1 late before losing the ability to have NHS treatment at their practice. The actual number of times is 2 as I was informed 2 weeks ago.

Fantastic experience: Great treatment from Dr Evie, Nurse Binod and Joanna. Very personable and explained everything clearly making me feel comfortable during my treatment and encouraging me to come back and to take care of my teeth

Fantastic experience: My 8 yo son saw hygienist Jo and nurse Sheeba for a cleaning of his teeth - which was a first for him. Jo and Sheeba were brilliant and I can’t recommend them enough. I found both Jo and Sheeba extremely professional and caring e.g. they addressed my son directly as their patient. Jo is genuinely passionate about treating children and takes the drama out of dental treatment by pedagogically explaining what she is going to do and demonstrating it on the child’s hand so they know what kind of sensation to except. She also takes the time to discuss good oral hygiene at the end of the treatment and provides recommendations. Last but not least the reception staff have been very professional when there was a problem with my appointment (scheduled in 2025 instead of 2024) and he easily found a new slot as well as process a refund. I would highly recommend KT Dental.
