Negative experience: Quite surprised by the outstanding reviews from everyone else on this site as I did not have a good experience. Firstly my appointment was delayed by 40 minutes. No explanation given, I was just left waiting. When I finally saw Nina for my consultation it felt like she was behind schedule and just wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. I explained my area's of concern and was just told, we can't do anything about that. Whole thing lasted less than 5 minutes. For their extremely high consultation fee and alleged expertise, I would have at least expected some sort of discussion about other types of treatments I could consider rather than just an abrupt dismissal.

Negative experience: It’s taken me around 18 months to feel confident enough to write this, but I think it’s important to share my experience. Like some others who have posted here, I hesitated because I kept questioning whether my gut feeling was valid. I now feel strongly that it was. I saw Dr. Nina Bal after making a long 3 hour journey, filled with a mix of nerves and hope. On arrival, I spent about 40 minutes filling out a large number of forms, which I initially took as a sign of professionalism and thoroughness. However, the actual appointment was incredibly brief and upsetting. I was rushed into the room, where two assistants were sat with laptops on their laps, typing constantly throughout. It felt odd and intrusive, almost like they were recording the consultation word for word. Looking back, I even questioned whether they were genuinely taking notes or possibly there to later generate fake positive reviews. Dr. Bal looked at my face and, within minutes (if that) told me there was nothing she could do and that surgery would be my only option if I wanted to improve my appearance. That moment really hit hard. I had arrived already feeling vulnerable and low in confidence, and it had taken a lot of courage to even book the appointment. I was in the room for no more than three minutes. Despite saying surgery was my only option, she then handed me a money off voucher to purchase expensive 'medical-grade' skincare from another doctor, which left me confused and suspicious. If surgery was the only solution, why the hard sell on skincare products? It felt inconsistent and insincere. I left the clinic and literally travelled home in tears, feeling completely dismissed and deflated. The entire experience made me feel like I didn’t fit the aesthetic she was looking for. Almost like I wasn’t “Instagrammable” enough. In the days that followed, I received several chasing WhatsApp messages asking if I had used the money off skincare voucher to purchase the 'medical grade skincare', which only deepened my concern that this was more of a marketing funnel than a genuine medical service. This carried on for quite a while until I eventually blocked the number on whatsapp. I felt like I couldn’t even complain properly, because of the presence of the two girls typing during the appointment. I was worried they might have been documenting everything in a way that could be used against me if I spoke up. In hindsight, I do believe I was misled by the glowing online reviews and polished social media presence. My experience felt transactional, cold, and more about sales than care. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic, and I remain skeptical of the large number of five-star reviews. If you’re considering a visit, please proceed with caution.

Negative experience: I’ve thought carefully about leaving this review for nearly four years. I discovered Nina through social media, and during my treatment, it became clear that some of the before-and-after photos she shared may not have been entirely realistic - many appeared to be taken in different lighting, from different angles, or even edited. I used one of these images as my reference photo, and while I understand that not everyone can achieve identical results, I had expected that my specific concerns would at least be addressed or I could have been told that the result couldn’t be achieved. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the result as there was very little visible improvement. When pointing this out during my treatment, I was told it would be best to wait until my follow-up appointment. All together I had 3 areas treated with dermal filler and paid nearly £1,500, so I expected a more thoughtful approach and better results especially given the price. Once the filler had settled, the treatment left me with a noticeable filler bump above my gum in the nasolabial fold. To this day, it still creates a strange line when I smile, and correcting that would have been my main reason for attending the follow-up. Unfortunately I couldn’t attend my follow-up appointment due to Covid and notified Nina’s receptionist and gave three days’ notice. I was told that follow-ups couldn’t be rescheduled and that I would need to pay again for a new consultation and treatment. On top of that, the receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful. So, I was left with a weird smile and no follow-up appointment as I refused to pay for the consultation and treatment AGAIN! Adding to the frustration, I was contacted out of the blue via WhatsApp two years later, being asked if I wanted to book in for a complimentary follow-up which clearly indicated that they needed to win back old customers. After the way I was treated, I found the message completely inappropriate and honestly, diabolical. What I’ve learned from this experience is to avoid choosing an injector based on social media popularity or a celebrity client list. It became clear to me that building a brand and online presence is more important to these types of injectors than actually ensuring clients leave satisfied and cared for. While Nina herself was polite and professional in person, the overall experience from the lack of results to the dismissive service and ongoing issues has left a lasting negative impression. I wouldn’t return, and I’d strongly advise others to think carefully before committing.

The clinic was beautiful, I found Dr Nina to be extremely professional and I’m blown away by the service I received from all the staff at the clinic. Fantastic experience: I had a super positive experience at Dr Nina's clinic at the beginning of October 2024. I came in for an Endolift treatment as am concerned about the lower part of my face. Gravity has worked its "magic" on my almost 42 year old self and I wanted to address it. Upon arrival, I was looked after by Grace who applied numbing cream on the area to be treated. I was then introduced to Dr Nina who gave me her undivided attention and spent time talking to me about my concerns, my expectations, about the treatment itself (what to expect) and gave me recommendations regarding skincare and potential future treatments. The latter ones were done upon my request as one can easily get overwhelmed with all the treatments available on the market. Then, Dr Nina proceeded with the treatment. One could tell that she's done this procedure many a time as her hand was steady and she moved with great speed. I felt safe in her care and confident that I chose a top practitioner. Highly recommend. Looking forward to seeing a full spectrum of the results as they will steadily unfold over the course of the coming months. To conclude, if you are someone who wants to have a procedure done but isn't sure who to trust with your face, go to Dr Nina. She will make you feel at ease and tend to you in the most professional manner.

Negative experience: Negligent practitioner, attended three times - last time was the final straw and I will not be returning. More focused on influencers and celebrities results, and neglects her 'regular' patients. Literally operates a revolving door. She will overcharge you also. I understand things cannot go to plan, however she is constantly on vacation so will no doubt be unavailable for your follow on appt. or her receptionists will blame you if something went wrong and advise you to go to a&e and that its not their fault. Avoid. Also, she'll ruin your self esteem by measuring your face during the consultation explaining everything that is wrong with your face.

Fantastic experience: Dottor Nina super star! The clinic is beautiful, it makes you feel safe doing any procedure. I had my lips done twice in other places and I was in pain and also my lips looked too big, duck lips. Dottor Nina made my lips look beautiful and natural, she adviced not to go too much, so we did only 0.5ml. I did not feel pain during the procedure and my lips have only small bruises. The nurse also was very nice, she took care of my baby. I would definitely recommend dottor Nina. Price wise is a bit higher than the average but worth it. I will definitely go back. Maria

Initially I was prescribed a bespoke skin care plan using medical grade products from which I began to see immediate results. On Dr Nina's advice I then returned for Botox, Profhilo and Endolift.
