Fantastic experience: My daughter has just had her braces removed. Wow! They look amazing. Not only do her teeth look amazing but all the staff are amazing too. So polite and made my very anxious daughter feel at ease with every visit. Fantastic experience: My daughter has received brilliant treatment with the team at Orthodontica, she had anxiety at every appointment and they were really good at listening to her and not pushing her beyond her limits. She had 2 sets of braces and was given great advice about how best to look after them. There were a couple of times where we had change appointments and it was never an issue to reschedule and got another appointment quite close to her original one. Her orthodontic treatment has taken just over 18 months from start to finish, and her teeth were a mess. She is beyond happy with the results and feels so much more confident having gone through the whole process. Thoroughly recommend David Gale Orthodontica.

Fantastic experience: We have had a pleasant experience so far at David Gale in Lee on the solent. The staff are all so friendly and patient. My daughter is starting her journey for a nicer smile by realigning her jaw before teeth. She struggles with anxiety so very scared. They took their time. Explained everything to her. Answered all her questions. Reassured her and had a laugh. I honestly thought it would be so much trickier but they really made my daughter feel safe and she walked out of there so proud of herself as I did too. So for that i am grateful. Fantastic experience: My daughter has recently had braces fitted at David Gale. The whole experience has been very good. Very professional staff etc. obviously taken a long time from beginning to just having that braces fitted but that’s part of the joys of the NHS, plus she required some max fax surgery prior to the brace being fitted, but once that had been done it’s been an easy process. Unfortunately one of the brackets broke off. I rang up on Monday and they fitted her in Tuesday for the repair. Very impressed.

Fantastic experience: I’m an adult half way through treatment with a child also going through treatment. I’ve found all staff helpful and friendly. An example of going above and beyond; At the end of my child’s appointment I asked a question about mine and she offered to work on mine there and then. Non urgent but made a big difference to me not having to wait 2 weeks for my next appointment. Appointments are always on time and I really appreciate the flexibility they show.

Negative experience: Today was the second time my son was told he was having his braces removed and the second time it hasn’t been done. He lost an hours pay and spent £30 on taxi fares to get to this appointment and was there barely 5 mins. I understand that you have a protocol to follow and that you want the best results for your patients but please don’t tell them that something is going to happen and then repeatedly let them down. My son was promised at his last appointment that his braces were definitely coming off and he was so upset and very frustrated and disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Hi there, I managed to somehow damage one of the wires on my teeth so rang David Gale at just before 5.30pm on Monday, the lovely receptionist made me an appointment for 9am the next morning.... Amazing!! All the staff are lovely, so friendly and happy to help. My wire was fixed in minutes! My treatment has finished since 2023 but they didn't just dump me. I highly recommend David Gale and his team, they are really efficient, they tell you exactly what they are doing and it doesn't hurt much either!

Negative experience: I have never experienced such an unprofessional level of health care. David Gale spoke in front of a child patient about matters that do not concern them, giving his inappropriate and incorrect opinions about a situation he was ill equipped to comment on, putting an already anxious child in a position where they are refusing to return for further treatment and left the practice in tears.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend David Gale enough. I hadn’t seen them for 4 years as my treatment was done, but I needed a new retainer. They saw me the day after I called, with my retainers being ready a couple of days after. Absolutely amazing service even after treatment!

Where as my other daughter was referred to another practice and ended up having to have them re done with extended jaw work at the hospital because they were not done properly the first time.

Fantastic experience: David Gale is a genius! I went to see him to discuss my smile. I had severe Bells Palsy over 10 years ago and when I smile I have a noticeable droop on my right side. I had slightly crooked teeth and an over bite. The palsy made my already crooked teeth look more crooked. I had a vision that widening my teeth and mouth but keeping my over bite would help to balance my face. David understood this and has worked with me to achieve this. He and his team have been kind, knowledgeable and supportive throughout this process. I wouldn’t recommend any other orthodontist than David. He has helped me to smile again!
