Negative experience: I have been going to perfect smile for 10 years. It’s was a brilliant place to have work done and the owner at the time was very talented. But since the company has been sold it’s not the same place. I feel it’s all about reaching monthly targets now from service I have received since it’s changed ownership. The last appointment was a checkup, I was told I needed 3 fillings, but I didn’t feel happy about this, so I booked at a different dentist practice for a second opinion. I had X-rays at both places but the second place I went to, didn’t recommend any fillings. I was extremely disappointed and very angry to find out I didn’t need the work that perfect smile recommended. So I complained to and won’t be going back. This is such a shame, because the previous owner was amazing.

Fantastic experience: Having treatment at the Perfect Smile changed my view of dentists forever. I used to be a very nervous patient with very weak teeth that always needed masses of work. Now I have a great smile and I no longer fear going to the dentist - and I haven't had to have a filling in some years. The staff are all fantastic and the treatment is the very highest quality. I don't even worry about going to the hygienist as I'm determined to keep my new smile in good condition! It may sound crazy but one of the little things about the Perfect Smile that made a difference for me is that it doesn't even smell like a dentist - great if that smell made you nervous even before you opened your mouth.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding practice and staff. I came to see Dr Biju Krishnan regarding my very complex orthodontic case. This is someone who understands the teeth, jaws, face and body as a whole. After multiple ortho treatments elsewhere, and various appointments with senior consultants I can speak from experience when I say, that who you pick as you're orthodontist for your self or your child is the most important choice health wise you can make. This is someone you have to see before committing to treatment anywhere else. Thank you to Dr Biju and Clare his dental nurse for your compassion and time you took with me to go over my case. Fantastic experience: As a nervous dental patient who has spent many years avoiding attending a dental practice my experience at Perfect Smile Hertford has been nothing but great so far, so thank you, and to Jenny Cader for the referral. All of the staff have been friendly, attentive and professional. They've listened and advised accordingly, and haven't tried to upsell me, merely to advise based on my circumstances and requirements. I'm back in for some minor remedial work and whitening, and for the first time ever, I don't feel afraid of the dentist!

Although it’s a small change made to my teeth it’s made the world of difference with my confidence, before I never smiled with my teeth showing but all I do is smile with them now. The whole team at perfect smile makes your feel comfortable from the get go and are always very helpful. I recommended my brother to perfect smile and he couldn’t be happier either. It’s been a year and Sagar is still the most helpful dentist when I have any questions.

Fantastic experience: Sagar Shah was my dental professional for my composite bonding. He is the best I could have hoped for and more! He took such good care of me and always making sure I felt comfortable, respected my opinions and decision making so that the whole experience was a shared one, felt almost like teamwork. I felt completely safe in his hands and I looked forward to our appointments as he put me completely at ease- not a lot of people can say they looked forward to a dentist appointment! Fantastic experience: I attended this practice recently for a root canal. I saw Dr Negin, shes was incredibly gentle and talked me through the whole procedure. I did not even feel the local anaesthetic when she gave it to me. She took her time and I felt like really well looked after. The hygienist went through my teeth and gums and explained everything throughly and the numbing gel made the experience fantastic. Fantastic experience: I could not be happier! I was recommended perfect smile by a friend and had my initial consultation, I was made well aware of procedure, time frames & cost. After agreeing to have 8 new veneers on my top teeth and Invisalign to my bottom, we started the treatment, I was kept in the loop the whole time and a few of my appointments were brought forward. The procedure was pretty much painless and all the staff are very lovely and welcoming. I have to say that the procedure was a pleasurable experience and professionally executed which in the past at other establishments was very painful, expensive and to be frank an absolute nightmare. Highly recommended would give six stars if I could.

It sounds extreme, but I can't describe how unhappy I felt with my smile. I hid my mouth when I talked or laughed, I avoided social situations and family photos. Being able to smile with out worrying what people think is the most amazing feeling. I have already seen such a change in the way I work and how I interact with clients. My self confidence has grown and I genuinely feel like a new person. If you feel anything lile how I felt go and book a consultation. Don't think about it any longer. You will not regret it. Dr Sam is gentle, knowledgeable and all round good human. I can't thank him and his team or nurses enough.

Fantastic experience: From the first port of call to the last actual fitting of my veneers I have to say the service delivered by Dr.Sam Jethwa was absolutely exemplary! Considering my lack of knowledge in the field, I gave Sam carte blanche on designing my smile, the only criteria I imposed was a "textbook smile" and I can confirm he in fact over-delivered on even my biggest expectations. Truly a master in his craft, along with his team! Its been c.5months since I had my bespoke smile designed and I cant tell you how many people have commented on how incredible my teeth are without a single sole asking if they are veneers. A true testament to what I deem an awesome job. Furthermore, I have experienced no issues in terms of my bite even when considering I have mild Bruxism - again a testament to bespoke practical design. Overall, I could not be happier with the end result and without a doubt I highly recommend Sam and his team.

I had gaps in my front teeth and tried a few dentist but was not comfortable. I saw the reviews Perfect Smile had and thought why not... The best thing I ever did was to visit The Perfect Smile in Hertford, where I met Gurs and his lovely assistant Kristina. They allayed my concerns and talked me through the whole process. Fantastic experience: I had a single implant to replace a missing tooth (fitted Jan 2021). The initial consultation provided me with all the options available (including alternatives to an implant). The surgery to fit the screw was painless and I was able to go about my day afterwards. The fake tooth looks real and hasn't moved since fitted two months ago. I would have an implant again with Perfect Smile if need be. They were professional and friendly. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: 2014: I have been a customer at the perfect smile studios for almost 4 years & have found the staff to be very friendly and have always received a professional service. Having not been to the dentist for a number of years I was a reluctant patient but now I have had a number of treatments I am very comfortable in their very capable hands. I highly recommend their services, both standard dental and cosmetic/corrective. Update 2021: 7 years after this review (11 years going there in total) and comments/recommendation still stand.

It was a massive decision for me to have all the treatment I needed to include bone grafting, implants, veneers, root canal, crown replacement, inlays and whitening but they have all been fantastic. I wasn't the easiest patient but they took the time to make me fell at ease and were at the end of the phone anytime I had any concerns. Fantastic experience: My dental plan included quite intrusive treatment, all of which was carried out with concern for my comfort. Time was taken to insure that I was included in every decision to be made. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel 'at home'. Thanks to the dentists at this amazing practice!!

Negative experience: I suppose being of a certain age one tends to think of a dentist as a NHS doctor, interested purely in your well-being. The Perfect Smile approach is basically not realty about patient well-being (at all) but making a profit, they are of course a private enterprise and only exist to make money. Nothing wrong with that as long as you know what your letting yourself in for. The ‘free’ consultation is nothing more than a sales pitch showing you lots of before and after pics and letters of recommendation (all at least 10 years old). Then it start to get expensive, the full consultation is £200 this includes a treatment plan. I did this, my appointment started 15 mins late (no explanation) and before I knew it I had a treatment plan that totalled £32,000. Yes that’s right £32,000. Ok that was the full Monty (12 veneers etc.) but what was painfully clear is the desire at all time to upsell you to include everything possible chargeable, probably knowing that you would settle for less – but hey you got a nice cup of coffee while you waited. Ok so Im being harsh, yes probably (as I doubt I will continue the treatment), I got no follow up call, but gritted my teeth (haha) and decided to call them to arrange an appointment for the hygienist (despite having only been 3 months ago they reckoned I needed two one hour sessions costing £250). The incredibly unhelpful receptionists said they had no appointments available for 3 weeks. At this point I thought hang on let’s compare and contrast ‘perfect smile’ with my usual dentist. My private dentist charges £51 for a 45 min session with a hygienist (available next day), Perfect Smile charge £125 for one hour, assuming you can wait three weeks, a quick search on the internet reveals that Perfect Smile are way more expensive across the board pretty much for all treatments than your standard private (im not talking national health here) dentist. Of course they are all those sales staff, frothy coffee and glossy adverts cost money, which we the patient have to pay for. So bottom before embarking on any treatment with PS do compare with other private dentists, if you like frothy coffee, high pressure sales, long wait for appointments etc. by all means go ahead, if you’re more financially astute and time sensitive do look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Dr Doshi and all his amazing staff enough for making me feel so comfortable and at ease. They have given me something that I have always missed, the confidence to smile, I wish I had taken the step to enhance my life earlier. The Perfect Smile is unlike any other dentist that I have attended. The friendly atmosphere and facilities are second to none. Not once was I put under any pressure to go ahead with my treatment, but I'm glad I did. Worth every penny. Look out anyone who's holding a camera.

Fantastic experience: An excellent company and experience. They quickly put me at ease and did not judge me and fully explained my treatment options and helped me with the finances. They did not see me as just a row of teeth and a bill, but as a person. They even went as far a redoing a small part of my treatment as they were not happy with the final result without further charge. I was more than happy to finally get my teeth fixed (after waiting unsuccessfully for other dentists to take me on) but they truly believe in giving you the best they can do. I would highly recommend them and I continue to see them for my regular check-ups and hygiene visits. Hygiene visits are just as important, if not more so, as they can quickly identify problems before they become major. Thank You to Carly (my hygienist) and Rahul and his exceptional team.

Fantastic experience: The best thing I have done was to visit the Perfect Smile Studio a few years back. Not only did they transform my smile, but they removed all my previous fears about visiting the dentist. The treatment I received was fantastic, both dental and to me personally. They took so much care to make me feel comfortable and at ease and, despite quite an extensive amount of dental work (including drilling into my jawbone to fit an implant), I was totally unaware the next day that I had anything done - no pain, no discomfort, just a great feeling of satisfaction! I cannot thank everyone at the Studio enough.

Dr Rahul Doshi took a lot care and dedication in creating a mile to suit my face and make it appear natural. The team were fantastic and really looked after me and made me feel so comfortable.
