Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend this dental practice enough if I tried. From the initial booking of the first consultation up until treatment and after care, everything has been so amazing and straight forward. The team are great with communication and I just want to express my personal gratitude to Dr Fraz and his two dental nurses that I had the pleasure of being looked after by Megan and Jess. They looked after me massively and have helped me gain so much confidence I was lacking before, the Team at Horsforth Smile Clinic are amazing and Dr Fraz takes great pride in his work and did a smashing job!! Negative experience: They've just cancelled my fourth appointment this year, the first two were with the dentist, the last two were hygienist appointments. Every cancellation has been by text message so I have to phone them, it's just lazy and unprofessional. When I phone up to reschedule the staff have never apologised even once. One of the cancellations happened at 4.40pm the day before the appointment. They're way too unreliable, I'm sick of booking time off to attend appointments just to be messed around. I've found another dentist that is much cheaper too. This one is very expensive, I expected more for what I was paying. I've only seen a hygienist once there, a woman called Vanessa. She had a bad cold that day and although she wore a mask while she cleaned my teeth she was sniffing and doing that gross phlegm snorting sound during the whole 30 minute appointment while leaning over me, it was nauseating. I really wouldn't recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience! I had composite bonding done by Dr. Fraz, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. You can tell he’s passionate about giving people confidence in their smile, and his amazing offers give more people the chance to get the treatment they’ve always wanted. The whole team is fantastic — the receptionists are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Their professionalism and warmth really complete the experience. I’m so grateful for the care, skill, and kindness throughout the entire process. Fantastic experience: I didn’t know my teeth could look so good, I had 20 teeth composite bonding I’m in my mid sixties, they look fabulous. Every body very friendly and makes you feel at ease. Very professional.

Fantastic experience: Good dentist, no pain or discomfort whilst proceedure was performed, nice pleasant man and assistant, made me feel confident and safe whilst he worked on my teeth. I was at ease and happy, he was very accomplished dentist and did heroic dentistry to save a tooth that some might not have tried but he worked hard to save the tooth and succeeded. I am happy to have a good dentist.

Fantastic experience: Had composite bonding done last Saturday & im over the moon with the results! Staff were helpful & friendly and the treatment plan was explained throughly to me. Didn’t find them pushy at all unlike the Yorkshire dental suite that I’d previously had a quote at. Beautiful natural looking results - have made me feel so more confident now. Highly recommend going here if you’re thinking of having them done.

Negative experience: I recently had a consultation on a tooth implant, the emailing was very misleading it read our implants start from £1, 900 per tooth you pay separate for ct scan x rays that’s not included in your implant bill. However upon receiving a potential breakdown on one tooth it cost nearly £3,000 It’s all a money making technique! Which is si disappointing I don’t blame people for going abroad for implants.

Positive experience: I’ve got mixed feelings. On one hand they had appointments available within a couple of weeks and completed my treatment without any issues. On the other hand they don’t respond to email queries, they don’t take on board customer feedback (I felt like my feedback was dismissed instantly) and the prices are over the top.

Fantastic experience: Had 20 composite bonding done last week by Dr. Fraz Ali, and i am absolutely amazed by the results. I haven’t smiled in years as i hated my teeth i had fangs and missing teeth but he has done an amazing job just as i wanted them nice and natural. The process was very quick from my consultation to the composting bonding was around a week 1/2 to 2 weeks. Dr. Fraz Ali explained everything and made me feel at ease, they also don’t rush you and you can book whenever you like they are also very flexible and try their best to work around you, the reception staff are also very accommodating and friendly. If you are thinking of getting composite bonding this is the place to go. Thankyou so so much!!!

Fantastic experience: Professional, courteous & good advice. Shame not enough nhs places for adults. Cost of seeing a hygienist is prohibitive when a nhs patient & this was/should be something done by the dentist as part of the treatment. 20 years ago teeth being cleaned was a routine procedure after having a dental check-up. As with a lot of things we are going forwards & leaving a lot of people behind.

Negative experience: Poor service, power hungry receptionist reading t & c’s from screen berating you for accidentally missing an appointment and gleefully charging you for the so-called service you would have had. No care or compassion shown just a robotic receptionist seemingly delighting in your misfortune. I might be more understanding, but given the multiple last minute cancellations Horsforth Smile have given me and my family over the past few years along with unacceptable long waits in reception for delayed appointments has meant lost days at work / childcare etc. it’s completely unacceptable, and apparently the customer must pay for their mistakes too!. This dentist seem to forget they need to treat their customers with respect, but sadly they couldn’t care less if seems. Shame on you Horsforth Smile clinic, you most definitely don’t live up to the name and I truly question the credibility of these 5 star reviews you have apparently received

Fantastic experience: Had an implant procedure last week. I was a bit apprehensive but Dr Zaf Khan and Shiv put me fully at ease. Played relaxing music of my choice during the procedure and continually explained everything that was happening. This really helped me. Everything went very smoothly and much more straight forward than I imagined. Very happy with Zaf and Shiv. Both very professional and very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding composite bonding work. The colour matches in with my existing lighter coloured crowns and my whole ‘smile’ looks clean, bright and healthy. There is no ‘dentures-look’ with just a straight line of teeth, as you can find with some cosmetic dentistry, as each tooth has been shaped to look natural and then all polished up. I can’t stop looking at my improved teeth in the mirror! I highly recommend Horsforth Smile.

Fantastic experience: I have recently had composite bonding on 10 top teeth and 10 bottom teeth by Dr Fraz, at Horsforth Smile Clinic, I walked in for my appointment, with for me was an embarrassing smile, I never used to smile or try hide my teeth at all costs. I left 4 hours later with a brand new smile, gorgeous straight white teeth. I cannot stop smiling! My teeth before hand were really bad, dis coloured and all crooked but Dr Fraz worked his magic and transformed my smile / face. I am beyond happy with the results, I feel like my whole personality has changed as I have been given a boost of confidence. I can’t stop smiling. Literally. I have had so many compliments. Fantastic experience: By far the very best dentist practise that I’ve ever used. The team are knowledgable, friendly, and very welcoming. I’ve been a patient for a couple of years now and they have always gone above and beyond when it comes to treatments and customer service. The receptionists, notably Meg and Emma, are all incredibly kind and considerate. The practise can get quite busy but the receptionist team seem to always try their best to find the nearest appointment and I’ve never had to wait more than a few weeks for non-urgent treatment. My dentist, Mostafa, is amazing at what he does and has such an understanding bedside manner. Having struggled with a phobia of dentists in the past he has been nothing but patient and has helped me feel much more comfortable in the dentist chair. Couldn’t recommend Smile Clinic more!

Fantastic experience: I don't think many people particularly thrive on the prospect of visiting dentists. However Mr Khan's knowkedge and expertise is evident from the outset. He always make the experience personable showing care and attention. Additionally the reception team Amelia and Megan show a genuine interest in maintaining patient relationships which is really important. Fantastic experience: I just want to share the excellent and outstanding service i have experienced with Horsforth dental clinic 10/10. From reception staff to Dr Khan absolutely amazing. My 1st visit was 18mths ago for invisalign which was completed today. I am so happy with the outcome and the journey i have experienced. They all were fantastic and accommodating. They listen to your concerns and go out of their way to resolve it. I just wish i discovered this dentist years ago. I am 100% happy with the outcome. Fantastic experience: I have a huge fear of dentists and I panic just for a check up. However when I visited last year for some treatment, Zoe Galli the Dental Nurse made me feel so reassured and told me exactly what was going to happen throughout it all. Zoe really cared and helped to calm me as she knew how scared I was and reminded me to breathe :)

Fantastic experience: The Smile clinic have very warm and genuinely nice staff. It starts with the reception staff for whom no query is too small and they always endeavour to help you, from making emergency appointments to explaining treatment plans. They always set any nerves to rest. Dr Zaf Khan is a superb dentist and dental implant specialist, who is very friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. He and his fabulous technician have saved my smile. I am well on the way towards an older age where i won't need false teeth. Implants are definitely the way to go, and can be affordable on most budgets. He will only do the work if it is safe for the patient and doesnt prioritise profit over dental health. Give it a go, youve nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

Fantastic experience: I received advice for what dental work I needed and the reason why it was important. I was told that I "could do with this" from another dental practice but never did they explain the reasons, benefits and consequences. Zaf was very efficient during the treatment and thorough. He was complemented by Shiv the dental nurse who was equally efficient in her role to put me at ease whilst making the process seamless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Horsforth Smile Clinic to anyone needing any dental work!

Fantastic experience: Hassan provided an excellent level of service, putting me at ease, due to some anxiety around visiting the dentist.

Negative experience: I went for the full Invisalign treatment, which is a substantial amount of money to spend, completing treatment in late 2021. However, my retainer broke about 8 months later and any time I called the clinic for a replacement they didn’t respond to missed calls or follow up my query. It felt that once they had my money (over 3k) they felt no need to assist me. I’m now needing further treatment, before my wedding. Which means I will be spending in total around 6k. So personally I wouldn’t recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: Being going here for years as a NHS patient. No issues until I accidentally mixed up my appointments, missed one and turned up to the next thinking it was the one I had missed. To be told by the lovely receptionist that I had been struck off and would have to pay over £600 full price for my treatment which is now half way through or find another NHS dentist to finish my treatment (which is impossible as no one is taking anyone on). I am a 46 year old single mum who is going through menoupaus and getting diagnosed with ADHD. I'm vulnerable and also recovering from trauma from the suicide of my mother. I cried and explained this to the receptionist. It was a one off accident and I cannot afford full price. The receptionist said they would speak to the principle and management and explain my situation. Which they did. The principle dentist has no compassion and has left me with my treatment unfinished and no option to get it finished as I can not afford private treatment and can not find another NHS dentist to take me on and finish the treatment. I really Dont know what I'm going to do. Dissapionted and in pain.

Fantastic experience: We visited Dentist Mostafa and Nurse Saf today and they did a great job for my kids. They put them at ease and provided excellent treatment. We would definitely recommend visiting them and Horsforth Smile Clinic.

Fantastic experience: Rang at 9.05am complaining of chronic toothache, got a sit and wait appointment for 3.30pm by 4.00pm wisdom tooth gone along with pain. Negative experience: I visited this practice regularly for years, but when COVID arrived, the regular reminder texts stopped whilst visits were on hold. I waited for these to restart, but they didn't. After a lengthy wait, we tried to book a check up but were advised I had been struck off the list (NHS) for not visiting regularly enough. I received no notice or confirmation of this, which would have been professional, they advised they didn't have too. They are no longer accepting NHS patients, so I recently contacted the practice to enquire if private treatment was an option, but I have had no response.

Fantastic experience: I cannot reccommend Horsforth smile clinic enough! They make you feel relaxed and comfortable and I feel involved in my treatment which is very new to me. They care about how you feel regarding your teeth and available treatment options. Dare I say it's quite a pleasure visiting the dentist of late! I have never felt as willing to visit the dentist in my life. These guys are extremely professional... I travel 20 miles to get here and am more than happy to do so given the level of professionalism i recieve! Highly recommended if you are a little nervous and unsure where to start if you require a lot of dental work which several months ago I did... I'm now moving swiftly towards a smile and teeth I'm happy with and simply can't thank these guys enough!

I have had to visit the practice a number of times over the past few weeks and on each occasion I’ve found him to be reassuring, knowledgeable and punctual. I feel confident he’s carried out the best treatment and has done so in a way that has has put myself at ease. I would happily recommend this practice and Gurvel Singh to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Already registered here as my NHS dentist so decided to have Invisalign with them. Mostafa was excellent throughout - absolutely love the difference in my smile. Negative experience: This review was longer with pictures however Google doesn’t seem to want to post it. Unfortunately my Invisalign treatment with the smile clinic caused me to have excessive gum recession/ split gum exposing entire tooth root, that was missed by the smile clinic and picked up by a routine NHS apt two weeks after treatment ended. I’ve had to have two surgical gum grafts to rectify this. Smile have admitted they missed it and said it was a learning experience, they have also paid for my gum graft. Please do your research and don’t just go with the cheapest like I did. UPDATE: changed review to one star after recent interactions or lack of. I have an open complaint and was told the practice manager would reply next day to my email by the receptionist. Over 2 weeks later and nothing. I was only given 1 night retainer by them at the end of treatment, which has had to be cut round the graft site. Due to this one of the trays snapped. I ordered a replacement using my last scan 2 weeks ago (their own not the Vivera ones), it’s still not arrived so I’ve been left 2 weeks with my teeth moving and also charged 120 quid for it. Shocking.

Fantastic experience: The best dental practice I've ever been to. Seen by two dentists and both were brilliant - they discussed all my options, gave really great advice and offered value for money. Very easy to access appointments too. I was offered an appointment on the day. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist. I had been with my dentist in York for years so was travelling a 2 hour round trip. I was nervous and reluctant to change as for me getting a fantastic dentist is important. I decided to try Smile Clinic based on very good feedback & to reduce my long car journeys to my original dentist. I am so glad I did. Mr Khan is brilliant. I was made to feel so welcome and completely at ease. Mr Khan is so thorough, kind and patient. Highly highly recommend & recommend Denplan which I am on too. Thanks to Zoe and her fab team. Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant!! I have a crippling fear of dentists, so much so that it’s unfortunately meant that I’ve cancelled appointments in the past. Just finished having 2 cavities filled here and they were brilliant! I let them know ahead of time about my fears and they calmed me down immensely! I opted to have no injections due to my fear of needles the Dr and his assistant then said he’d talk me through everything which also helped (it didn’t actually hurt that much honestly!) Don’t hesitate in booking an appointment here, even if you’re scared! Also hats off to the staff in reception, they have a great sense of humour and once again are incredibly reassuring! Will be booking my next appointment very soon!
