Fantastic experience: Dr Virdi has treated three of my kids and their outcomes have been absolutely brilliant - they all have perfect smiles! We've just had the last annual check-up for my youngest and like his elder sisters, all his teeth continue to be perfect! Positive experience: I’ve just completed my Invisalign treatment and couldn’t be happier with the results. My teeth are now straight, and my overbite has been corrected. As an adult, I really appreciated the discreet nature of the braces. Dr. Virdi clearly explained the available options from the start and provided a fairly accurate timeframe for completion. At each visit, he was friendly and informative, giving updates on my progress and what to expect next. My only suggestion would be to include more visual explanations of all the tools used during treatment - such as overbite bands. Also, considering the amount of cement used, a session with a hygienist as part of the package would have been a welcome addition once the main treatment ended. Overall, I’m very pleased and would highly recommend Dr. Virdi and the team at The Orthodontic Centre in Reading.

Positive experience: I had my invisalign done here and at that time I lived close by and it was very convenient for me to attend my appointments. Dr Virdi and his team are very attentive and definitely know their trade :) Overall I am happy with how my teeth are aligned, but giving 3 stars only as I felt like towards the end of treatment it was very rushed and, and teeth whitening and shaping was not included in the package like it was in other places. Still I would recommend but read your contract carefully or ask what are the finishing touches before signing in! I feel like for the amount of invisalign treatment shaping teeth at the end and whitening should be included, not charget on top of that!

Negative experience: Hello, The service was very bad. They asked for documents that do not exist. They don’t do the treatment well enough for NHS patients and only prioritise private patients. We are unable to receive the treatment we needed because of many delays that they caused. They insulted us as well.

It has taken two years of wearing a fixed brace, however, the time has gone quickly, and because the orthodontist centre is so efficient, we have been seen very quickly at all appointments we have attended. Fantastic experience: As a child thirty five years ago, I wore orthodontic braces. Each visit, I dreaded. I missed school because I had bleeding gums, mouth sores and painful teeth. How surprised I was that technology has improved so much. Similarly, there is this new breed of dentist-orthodontists who are not literally heavy handed, but are calm and welcoming to both myself as a parent and to my child the patient. We had no traumatic experience that caused our son to cry or regret having braces. No anxiety was experienced in having to go to the dentist again. He was "cool" about the appointment. The place was also clean and had no scent and smell. Dr Virdi had able assistants who are respectful and helpful towards him. The reception team also accommodated our need for after school appointments. Our son considers Dr Virdi a friend. We are grateful to him.

Fantastic experience: I started my journey in November 2022 and Dr Virdi was great in explaining all the options I had to get to my end goal. He gave me realistic expectations and I can say the end result has definitely exceeded this. The whole process has taken about 18 months and I couldn't be happy with it. Not only did the Invisalign straighten my top teeth but it also helped reduce my overbite by half, which is more than I was expecting. I would recommend Dr Virdi and the team!

Positive experience: I finished my braces journey just last week after having braces for 2.5 years, My experience with the Orthodontic Centre were okay, I am a trans person, The doctor misgendered me even after correcting them, they were quite friendly and quick at doing things, and is clear at what is happening and how to take care of my braces and retainer, Always asks if I'd like to change band colors, Anyway they did a good job on my teeth. For how they built my braces, 50% of the time they accidentally physically hurt me when They were drilling off glue, and something orthodontic things, they also 50% of the time leave a wire sticking out that Penetrates my mouth which causes pain discomfort, irritation, scarring and bleeding. besides all the negatives they also have positives, Like when I accidentally broken the bracket off my teeth and I emailed them about it, They quickly help me set up an emergency appointment to fix it ASAP, I find this quite helpful. The place is very clean and professional The check in tablet is really handy I would say The orthodontic center has its good and bad side, I recommend it though. Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience with a receptionist who would not give me her name on February 1st at 10:21 am. I was very polite and friendly the whole time (please play back recordings if any) over the course of the phone call. I did not address her rude manners over the phone, but it was very clear when she could not give me her name, maybe because she knew I would report this matter. I had previously inquired this exact centre (this past December) and was given a quote and time, as I was referred to by a dental clinic in December 2024 & I told them I will give them a call when I'm more certain. However, this time when I tried to book the appointment, the receptionist told me I had to of seen my general dentist for a check up in the past 12 months. I had a full check up with x-rays, for over an hour-long during my consultation for Invisalign, which is why I was referred but apparently that was not enough. Due to the fact I was quoted and given a time just over a month ago, naturally I was confused, I politely asked for more details which was met with a very unpleasant rude attitude. When I asked for her name on the call, she was making rumbling noises on the phone and then she hung up abruptly. Despite three follow-up calls one after another, she purposely ignored them. This extremely unprofessional behaviour representing the company reflects poorly on the organisation and warrants immediate attention. I hope you address and rectify this issue promptly, it was a completely traumatising experience and I do not wish that on anyone.
