Negative experience: Birthday ruined!! Booked in for a wash cut and blow dry on the morning of my bday. Darcie didn’t cut my hair as she said there’s nothing to cut? After I showed her a pic. I have long healthy hair and she said it’s not possible!! And then she was like no point washing your hair it looks fresh I’ll just style it. She was being very lazy. Even the other girl staff who was eating her Mc Donald’s said are you not going to cut her hair she was like na. I came in and said what I wanted and didn’t get any of that. There was only the 2 girls in and could tell she couldn’t be bothered. I was left so disappointed. She didn’t even pin my hair up or blow dry with brushes like I asked. I’ve been going to blues for years. I went not too long ago before Mia left and I had done exactly what I asked for. But for some reason darcie couldn’t do any of this. I was left so disappointed!! Felt awful as my hair app went wrong and that’s a big thing for plays a big part to my bday. So I will never be coming back here.

Negative experience: Had a cut with cassie not the most friendly, got home and decided I wanted a little more off my length and was told I have to pay the whole £40 again for a whole new haircut when I had only visited afew hours ago.The blow dry was also flat and not the best: Wouldn't recommend

Me and daughter went on a sunday for a wash cut and blow dry, our appoitment was on time and the attention to detail on the finish was amazing . Products and hair texture problems was clearly explained to me and i felt the stylest really understood my needs and took the time to explain solutions. Will most definitely be going back. Negative experience: Wow what an unbelievable experience. I booked an appointment for today and I wear a headscarf which they cater for. When I arrived I was waiting 20min until I was seen too and when the hairdresser came she said "ahh I can't do short hair... I'm not qualified and just started my job." I asked for an alternative she replied: the boss who is male could do it, but I replied that was not possible for me- as I cover my hair, which i made clear before booking. Then I was told no one can help and the one who is able to isn't around due to unforseen circumstances, and that actually i should have informed the hair salon I had short hair? I was not offered an apology by the boss, he didn't even acknowledge me as I was leaving, no offer of payment for my taxi fair. I understand the young girl was unprepared, but why would you employ someone not able to do a hair job. It isnt my responsibility to check if the hair salon has competent staff. What it comes down to is the better service from the owner, i came from afar with a short window to get this done and left feeling poorly treated. Completely unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: It’s been 10yrs since I visited blue’s hairdressers. I booked in for a wash and blow dry with sarah. Sarah was lovely and bubbly. We had a good chat and she blow dried and straightened my hair. Thank you ☺️

Fantastic experience: Such an attentive and friendly laser technician. The Salon is beautiful and all staff really welcoming. My patch test was brilliant, it felt like Sarah could anticipate my queries and answered them before i even asked! I have been to other salons and sometimes felt a little patronised, so this was a refreshing change.

Darcy is not only incredibly talented but also very professional and attentive to every detail. She took her time to listen to what we wanted and the results were even better than we hoped for. I haven’t been to a salon in years and it was for the first time in a long time I walked out feeling pampered and confident. Negative experience: Been here over the past couple years and I’m really disappointed. Everytime I go my bangs have been uneven, however since it’s a lady’s only space and the service is good I have dismissed that issue and gone to blues repeatedly. I have also had it cut from several ladies there and always have the same issue. I got my hair cut again at blues recently and I’m more disappointed than ever. Not only were my bangs completely uneven and lob-sided again, but chunks of the front of my hair were cut off and left unblended. It looks like a botched job! I am really disappointed as I have only just been able to recover and grow my hair out after an awful haircut a few years ago and now blue hq have left me back to square one! Have to go to another hairdressers to fix these issue which means getting even more hair cut off!

Fantastic experience: I got a haircut from here , its one of the best i ever got. My husband was so amazed the way it was on me. My hair were damaged & in very bad condition even going to very short length it was one of the best haircut i ever got. The wash, blow dry everything was perfect. So dont think before booking Love Xx

Fantastic experience: Went a couple weeks ago with my sister to get a graduation updo. She got a blowout and the stylist did an amazing job! All of the staff is so lovely and kind. We were running late and needed to touch up my sisters make up and they didn't mind one bit. Let us use their space and made us feel super comfortable, even though that's not a service they provide. Paid attention to every detail and made sure we left super happy! The perfect place to feel glamorous and leave feeling satisfied and well looked after!

Fantastic experience: Perfectionist!!!! So pleased to have had my roots done by Jon, a true professional and perfectionist at his job. I have never felt so satisfied leaving a hair salon. Jon was so precise when applying colour to my roots, ensured each strand was fully covered. The colour was applied so neatly, no mess & no dye all over my face!!! Thank you so much P.S. Jon doesn’t normally take appointments & covers the reception but is fully qualified to colour, cut hair & on the day was covering for the stylist who was off sick! Jon I really hope you will do my roots again

Fantastic experience: I do not usually leave reviews, but I had to following my experience yesterday. It was my first time at this particular salon and without a shadow of doubt, it will not be my last. I booked myself in for a blow dry with one of the junior stylists as I had a wedding to attend in the evening. Unfortunately, the stylist was ill and had to be sent home. However, Blues did not let me down and instead fit me in with the head stylist. The care I received from Ash and John in particular was just so lovely and I felt so comfortable. My blow dry also lasted all night. I’m already thinking about the next time I want to book myself in. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service from all the staff. Everyone was very friendly and nice. Went in for a hair treatment, cut, balayage and style by Mia. Showed her some ideas of what I would like and the end result was amazing and exactly what I wanted but even better. I was happy with her advice for what I should go for as the end result was amazing. Hair was so much softer and healthier. The colour came out even better than I expected it to. Would definitely recommend this salon as I have been before and have never been disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. My natural hair colour was black and few months back I went blonde thanks to blues and there fantastic service. Today I went an aurburn/copper and once again it was thanks to blues. For a Muslim hijabi that wears an abaya this probably one of the only places on Bradford who caters for Muslim women as they have a complete separate floor. The owner Ash is a lovely humble guy and makes you feel like family. Thank you guys your the best

Fantastic experience: I came on training day with jet black home dyed hair wanting to go red which was not an easy task to say the least but with the backing of the brilliant teacher Louise my stylist Lauren did a fantastic job I’m thrilled with my new colour and style I feel amazing . I was there 7 hours in which time I witnessed how experienced the team are at Blues they provide so much help and advice on what suits what to use how to style everything and they are all so friendly and professional. I’ve spent years using home dyes but no more , I will be at Blues every 5 weeks . Thankyou so much Ash Louise Lauren for making it a good experience and result .
