Negative experience: I am writing this review after much thought. The team at the clinic made me feel very comfortable and welcome, however I am disappointed with the service at the clinic viz-vis laser treatment for hair removal. I’ve had 6 sessions of back, front and abdomen without any difference to the amount of hair. Not even a penny’s size of area is hairless. In fact, I did say that my back is okay - it does not require laser hair removal, but the owner insisted that it will make a difference to ‘acne’ on the back (it was not acne but folliculitis (again mild). Now there is hair at the back – it is as though the follicles have been stimulated rather than ablated… I am a healthy young man. I have had discussions with other hair removal professionals regarding treatment and given my number of sessions, 6, they are extremely surprised at the fact hair is still there. The clinic may be effective in other treatments, however, for me this was not the case.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Sabi a few weeks postpartum, when I was in a lot of pain due to complications from episiotomy stitches. The discomfort in my pelvic area was so intense that even walking had become difficult. From the very first session, she understood exactly what I was going through the not just physically, but emotionally too. Her gentle yet effective approach made a huge difference. After just two sessions, I could already feel significant relief. She guided me with care, empathy, and expertise, tailoring the therapy to my specific needs. I’m truly grateful for her support during such a vulnerable time and would highly recommend her to any new mother facing postpartum challenges.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been doing deep pore facial cleansing once a month for the past three months, and I’ve noticed a real improvement in my skin. It feels much cleaner, and I’ve seen a visible reduction in blackheads. The treatment has been gentle yet effective, and my skin looks healthier overall.

Negative experience: I’ve had no results from my lazer treatment… 11 treatments of full leg and bikini and 15 sessions for underarm… Darleen has been lovely throughout but the treatment hasn’t worked.. a lot of money and time invested with no results so I’m very disappointed of course

Fantastic experience: I had a facial with milia extraction and Skinthetics exceeded my expectations ! I had about 20 small milia on each cheek and they managed to remove everything. I was red for about 10 days (to be expected), but it was SO worth it. I also felt supported throughout the aftercare as phoned them up to double check the ingredients of my skincare (whilst my skin was recovering/ repairing ) and they happily talked everything through. I’ve had this milia for about 20 years and always put off getting it removed as thought it would cost too much and be too much hassle. But I’m so pleased I found Skinthetics! I would highly recommend the team. I will also be back for the facial! (It was more medical grade than your typical aromatherapy facial and my skin felt AMAZING) It’s made a huge difference to my confidence having them removed and I’m really grateful to the team.

Negative experience: I had the 6-8 sessions full body laser hair removal and was left really disappointed and deflated as there was no siginificant reduction on most body parts (except the hairiest; lower arms and legs). After wasting money at a previous clinic on similar treatment, I was lead to believe in my consultation with Skinthetics owner that laser treatment at her clinic would work, even for finer hair! The therapists are really nice and treatment started of promising, like so many posted reviews, however did not deliver on results. I feel misled and ripped off, having wasted a lot of time and money. The owner is not compensating and only offering more treatment, which I have to pay for... when clearly the laser is not working!!
