Really listened to my brief and what I needed from my consultation and executed the blonde balayage amazingly. Very attentive throughout and just so happy with my end result, clearly very experienced and it shows in the results. My balayage is so blended and the perfect tone and colour. Fantastic experience: The staff here are wonderful. I was visiting Manchester for an event. After a long journey and me flustered and dishevelled because the hotel messed up, I arrived to my appointment a smidge late. The girls there saw that I was at the end of my tether and did a wonderful job and making me feel better, making me look amazing and took charge of my hair when honestly I couldn't think about what I wanted at that point in the day. 100% would go again and recommend

It's a feminine space with a modern twist, welcoming everyone. I got a shampoo, haircut, and blow-dry for just £55, which was an incredible deal for the quality of service I received. Cydney was amazing—she was kind, knowledgeable, and really took the time to make sure I loved my new look. And my hair are truly curly! I’m absolutely in love with my haircut! She also made our conversation enjoyable, and I felt completely at ease the entire time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Boombae is a lovely salon and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I’ve had my hair done by three members of staff and they have always done an amazing job and done exactly what I have wanted. Arron and Chloe are amazing stylists and I would recommend them to anyone, they really take the time to listen to what you want and advise in any way they can. There is always a positive vibe in the salon and it makes you feel at ease and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: After arriving for my appointment, I was told that my appointment had not been booked properly so didn’t go through. I had gone to get my hair done ahead of my brothers wedding and had a newly broken ankle. The team were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Kia kindly came in early to work and did my hair whilst multitasking with another client. At one point I had two stylists putting foils on my hair! I am so grateful for the effort that everyone went to to get my hair done and make sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment with my new injury. As always, I was so pleased with how my hair turned out but how I was treated deserves to be recognised. Couldn’t recommend BOOMBAE more!

Positive experience: They did an amazing job on my hair, I had a dark natural auburn with hot pink peekaboo highlights. Looked incredible. The salon just lost one star because all the curl brushes I could see (including the one used on my hair for a blowdry) were full of previous clients hair. And it looked like a few clients worth of hair, not just one. For a hair salon, that's a big no no for me. But A* for execution and creative styling. Also a very friendly team.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding. Had my 'Kia Knots' done by the wonderful Aaron today. So happy with what I thought would be unachievable with my hair that I actually got a little tearful (pretty sure not due to the menopause). The vibe in this salon is superb. When you see the owner sweeping the floor, cleaning the toilets and dealing with her clients from hair wash to completion you know you've found somewhere unique and very special.

The extensions are amazing and her hair has stayed really healthy compared to other extension technique. They are brilliant

Fantastic experience: i love this place and it’ll be the only hairdressers i trust to get the exact colour i’ve always wanted but never quite got from other places. arron did wonders on my hair! months of root growth, where it was black and my hair was pretty much orange, literally undetectable in 3 hours. and, i’ve honestly gotten all of my confidence back because of how beautiful the colour was and how comforting the entire experience was. i was constantly asked if i was in a comfortable position, was asked for drinks, asked if i’m doing okay and i was checked on regularly. as someone with social anxiety, it left when i came through the door. my hair feels luxurious, healthy and refreshed. i feel the prettiest i’ve ever felt thanks to arron. thank you so much and i’ll definitely be back. i’d literally pay money to get my hair washed, it was eye-rollingly good. the hot chocolate was amazing as well! everything was perfect, even still that wouldn’t capture how amazing this place is. you have to go and see it for yourself, that’s the only way you’d be able to understand the excitement…

Fantastic experience: Came in with faded green/blue hair some parts were light and some more pigmented with heavy root growth so about 3 different shades going on. For my free consultantation with Arron, I wanted to get rid of the blue/green and go blonde (icy platinum). He was very optimistic and confident that I'd walk out the salon with blonde hair. He did a test strand prior to the process. A week later I came in for the hair colouring process, I was very suprised by the result and wasn't expecting to leave the salon with that icy blonde look in 1 session as I know blue/greens are really difficult to remove. I was very happy with my result. My hair felt healthy and soft, felt in good condition so the products they use are also of top quality. I wouldn't go to any other salon for my hair appointments, I can't recommend Arron enough for his skills. The people at the salon also had bubbly energy, friendly and respectful. A great salon and people that deserve even more recognition for their hard work. Highly recommend even if you're out of the area it's definitely worth the trip!.

Fantastic experience: Finding a GOOD hairdresser is like finding a UNICORN and Boombae has them all. After having a disastrous hairdresser in London who has wrecked my hair..... the banding as you can see is bloody awful. Finding Boombae has been a godsend. Jack on my initial consultation eased my stress and Kia truly worked her magic and the results are astounding. The salon and the staff are all lovely with a great atmosphere and buzz. The other 5 ladies who had their hair done whilst I was there by the other stylists were flawless too. In my eyes you cannot go wrong. 5*****

There is no other hair salon in Manchester that I trust to get my hair right. The laser has also been amazing, the results are so good.
