Fantastic experience: Both my teenage children currently have braces fit by Natalie and Hilpa, and throghout they have always been extremely helpful and friendly, along with the dental nurses and reception staff who are so welcoming. On the couple of occasions we've had loose brackets and wires they have been so accommodating fitting them in quickly to ensure they don't have to put up with the discomfort, which has been great. My son is almost ready to have his braces removed and at his last appointment we had been comparing the photos of his teeth from 18 months ago and the change is unbelievable, and we could really tell how much it means to them to see the improvements too. We couldn't have asked for a better team and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone

She had previously been seen by another orthodontist who recommended extracting four teeth. During our consultation with Hilpa, she carried out a thorough assessment of not only my daughter’s tooth position but also her facial profile. She explained why it was important to try to retain the teeth in my daughter’s case, which gave us great confidence. Now that the treatment is complete, the results are truly amazing. Fantastic experience: I have just finished a lengthy fixed brace treatment and couldn’t be more happy with the end result thanks to the whole team at Total Orthodontics- it was so worth it. Everyone was so lovely and welcoming, especially Hilpa, Lisa and Natalie. Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience with this orthodontics. We have been looked after so well from the whole team, from the reception staff to nurses to orthodontists and after care. Fantastic experience: SO pleased with my results after having a brace fitted with Total Orthodontics!! My teeth look exactly how I’d hoped and the care has been amazing and nothing too much trouble. The team are fantastic and so friendly. Communication is great with text message reminders about appointments sent regularly and when I needed an emergency appointment due to a bracket coming lose 2 days before my holiday they managed to fit me in to fix it so I didn’t have to put up with the irritation whilst away! Fantastic experience: My daughter has been having treatment here. Every appointment has run smoothly and on time. Each member of staff has been so accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble!! I personally hate anything dental related but I've not felt uncomfortable during our visits. Ive been able to stay with my daughter whilst shes treated without feeling scared or worried! The place is lovely and clean. Parking is no issue. Plenty if spaces up ans down the road. Each time an appointment is made, it arrives via text as does a reminder. The whole system has been really efficient. My other child has been referred foe braces and I hope we get the same place as they've been great!!! Thanks so much to all the staff. Fantastic experience: Hilpa and the team have been absolutely incredible since I first started my treatment in August 2022. I was aware of how difficult my case would be especially with other experts advising Hilpa to recommend surgery for me but we pushed on with Invisalign and braces and I cannot thank them enough for my teeth now. I don’t get TMJ pain anymore, my jaw no longer clicks when i chew food and i have a beautiful smile! The journey has been so long and I am so grateful for how hard Hilpa has worked to ensure we got the best result. I knew there was some limitations with how much some stubborn teeth could move but we beat the odds. I was so self conscious with my physical appearance and I hated smiling in photos, I also struggled chewing food properly with my bite. If anyone is looking for a sign to start their Invisalign or brace journey this is it! i couldn’t recommend this practice enough. everybody has been so lovely and kind, and calmed my nerves when I thought I wouldn’t be able to get the results I want. The lovely Receptionists are super helpful too and very quick to find appointments that suit your schedule. Thank you very much for this long journey, August 2022 to Mach 2025

Fantastic experience: Overall a pretty good experience with total orthodontics. All the technicians we had were lovely and answered any questions. Emergency appointments were few but always booked quickly. Braces are now off and the results are excellent.

Fantastic experience: I chose this orthodontists for my teenage daughter after seeing other good reviews and getting started sooner than the NHS wait, they offer a great teenage package and have lots of choices for payment so manageable for all on 0%. The service was very efficient, orthodontists very good and professional and the difference in my daughter’s teeth after 18months is amazing. We are very pleased and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had my braces for several years and was very nervous at first but always felt welcome at the practise, even the reception staff are really friendly. Got my braces off today and really happy with the results! Mostly saw Georgia Louise and Becky who all took great care of the braces, usually chatting through appointments which always helped me stay comfortable, special thanks to Louise who made sure I kept receiving care even when mental health barriers made me miss a few appointments. Worth it in the end, thankyou so much ❤️

Negative experience: Private customer as over 18. Had braces for 2 years, great treatment and was happy with the end result. I was told I couldn’t have a fixed retainer behind my teeth and a removable night guard was the only option. I was discharged. In the last 6 years I have needed to return 3 times due to needing a replacement. Each time having to pay a consultation fee and retainer fee (today the quote was £180). Despite wearing the retainer every night my teeth have moved , and move further after each replacement retainer. Not ideal aftercare for a private customer paying over £3000

Unfortunately, this is the price for all patients following 12 month retention period, we are unable to guarantee retainers for life and do explain the cost to all patients at the time of discharge. Negative experience: Very disappointed with my treatment. I had braces about 15 years ago and never wore the retainer so they moved. I came to Total Orthodontics in my 30’s to get them fixed but I’ve 5 complaints as follows: 1) Louise told me at the initial consultation it would take approximately a year to correct. I appreciate that this is an appropriate time, but it took nearly 3 years!!!! 2) I was told by Louise prior to getting braces that I wouldn’t need a fixed retainer, and the teeth wouldn’t move provided I wore the removable retainer every night (which I’ve done). This advice changed on removal, had I known this I wouldn’t have got them in the first place as I’ve issues with a sensitive tongue. They made me sign a waiver to not have a fixed retainer, and my teeth have now moved substantially despite always wearing the removable one at night. 3) They make you sign a waiver for EVERYTHING or refuse treatment. This is frustrating as you could of been advised something, or are not happy with something, and you’re completely backed in a corner with metal glued to your teeth so have to sign the waiver or you won’t get your paid for treatment. 4) Louise is ALWAYS off sick. I believe there’s now another orthodontist, but I was waiting up to 3 months between appointments. Appreciate it’s not her fault she’s ill, but when you’re paying over £4,000 for private treatment you expect the service to go with it. 5) After 3 years they advised me my teeth were the best they were going to be although there was a clear rotation on one of them. They made me sign a waiver to say I was agreeing to have the brace removed early (even though it was on for 3 years), and I was happy with the treatment (although I wasn’t and they said there was nothing else they could do). But what choice did I have??? For the price I’ve paid, service provided, but most importantly the final results, I wouldn’t recommend.
