Fantastic experience: Very efficient...would definitely recommend

Negative experience: The scan itself was fine, but they could have been friendlier and finding the place was a total nightmare. Perhaps they make it purposefully hard to locate to deter unauthorised access to potentially dangerous equipment, but they could at least warn you about this on their website. After circling the building and seeing no obvious entrance I asked the guy in the car park booth. He asked for my name, then demanded £20 before he'd tell me any information. Yes it was a joke, but a brusque and aggressive one which it seemed like he was trying to make at my expense. Given I was already a bit nervous about the upcoming dental procedure and radiation dose, and not wanting to be late for my appointment, I really wasn't in the mood for it.

Fantastic experience: The main reception at Joseph’s Wells in Leeds was open and bright but I didn’t find the receptionist there that helpful and ended back there, after following the limited instructions, 3 times! When I eventually found where I needed to be for my scan, the staff were friendly and welcoming even though I was late for my appointment (due to the above) and I had my scan which was in a clean room. The receptionist even showed me a quicker way to leave the building and gave me instructions back to Leeds train station

Positive experience: The receptionist was miserable like it was a chore to send me a copy of my xray that I have actually paid for. Still havnt received a copy although the dentist in Turkey that referred me was able to get a copy before iv received one myself. The girl that actually did my xray was nice.

Fantastic experience: This was the first CT scan that I have experienced. The procedure was at the request of my dental surgeon prior to undertaking a £3000 one front tooth implant, currently occupied by a broken incisor. Super glue had been my other alternative, but caused my upper lip to be swollen for a few days. I regret the 3K cost (no longer available on the NHS due to extensive free use by others!) but am still able to use my flexible dentures and retain the remaining 20 total teeth that I have left. At 77 they may still see me through the rest of my life (hope that's not tempting fate) I cannot praise CT Dent highly enough for their highly efficient services, knowledge and sophisticated equipment they used and all for a mere £120. which pales into insignificance considering the full cost. Positive experience: Receptionist very professional, friendly and helpful. Lady who did scan not so friendly, after a very brief explanation just cracked on with procedure. She did not ask "are u OK or do you understand, do you have any questions" This is not good practice, particularly for those who are nervous. Not everyone will be obviously nervous or ask if they don't understand.

Fantastic experience: Staff at CT Dent was so polite and friendly. They are so fast in services, finished everything and left in less than 20minutes.

Negative experience: Signage to location and car park non existent. Followed Google Maps to exit of main car park for Joseph's Well but no way in, parking spaces outside permits only. Parked anyway, went into main building, reception unmanned, eventually a very helpful man showed me where I needed to be and arrived just in time for appointment. Lady on reception very pleasant but girl who carried out scan needs lessons in customer service - no greeting, no explanation of procedure just basically "do this, do that". Was referred there by my Dentist but wouldn't choose to go there again.

Fantastic experience: Appointment time "Bang on the dot"...Great service...But i wish I had been informed that i had a reserved parking space available ...That would have saved me £40 in Taxi fares.

Fantastic experience: I was warmly welcomed by Receptionist Juliet for my booked dental scan, referred by my York dentist. Afterwards, Juliet kindly showed me the fastest walking route (by taking me to their rear door) back to the Leeds' train station! My dental scan was performed most professionally by Sharon, who gave me very clear instructions. I followed them, and hence she did not have to repeat the scan. I "kept still" to her satisfaction! Fantastic experience: Very helpful and friendly staff. I was struggling to find the place ,so gave them a call and the lady on reception gave me instructions over the phone. There was no waiting around at all . The lady who did my scan explained everything then made me feel comfortable during the process. I would highly recommend

Negative experience: I didn't actually get to this appointment as there is no nearby parking. They say they have onsite parking but due to building works, this was not accessible. Nearest parking is actually 10 minutes away minimum. They also advise train station is an easy 10 minute walk. Try nearer to 20 minutes. Wasted my time and will not be using again.

Positive experience: It is quite difficult to find the place but got there in the end. The receptionist wasn't the friendliest! . A Bit like name, take a seat! But the kind lady called Sharan who actually did the CT scan was very understanding as I suffer bad anxiety. She explained clearly what to do. So from the CT scanning point was excellent.

Positive experience: Very difficult place to find if you don’t know the area well and on foot .Once I arrived very pleasant receptionist for the whole building took me through a warren of walkways to where I needed to be. Once there process was efficiently and quickly .

Fantastic experience: Very quick to book an appointment in via my dentist - called on an evening and got an appointment for a scan the following day. No wait time once I arrived. I have a lot of piercings and the radiographer who saw me was very patient with me while I took them out. I’m terrible with names but she was fantastic, explained everything really clearly, was very reassuring. I am neurodivergent and find things like this stressful but the radiographer was very supportive. The scan itself was very quick.

Positive experience: The signage didn’t make it obvious where you were supposed to go for appointments. It felt weird having to use a buzzer to go into the building. Staff were efficient but not overly friendly; I felt a bit out of place. Short waiting time, procedure explained clearly.

Fantastic experience: A very good first time experience of a panoramic scan. I arrived around 20 minutes before my appointment and was seen 10 minutes earlier which was a good start. The facilities were very clean and the equipment was modern and professional-looking. Joash, the radiographer put me at ease and explained everything very well. The scan itself took less than a minute, meaning I was in and out in 5 minutes. I also asked for and received my scan but email, as well as an e-mailed receipt and a copy of the referral letter. I preferred to park closer to the centre, as we planned to spend most of our afternoon there and walk 10 minutes to the facility. An excellent all round service. I'd go back if another x-ray was needed in the (far!) future.
