Fantastic experience: Had a deep clean, filling and a wisdom tooth removal today I was very scared when I went but they were absolutely amazing with me, very patient and understanding. 0 judgment all around great experience for something that I was terrified of. Fantastic experience: 5 star from me. I needed a lot of work doing and heard good things about this practise. I have felt so safe with my dentist, Dr Bhawandeep Singh. (I am was scared of the dentist and I have sensory and neurodivergent issues.) I needed extractions which was overwhelming but this gentleman is lovely, supportive person. Very kind. I fully trust him and would highly recommend him to anyone on the autism spectrum.

Negative experience: The experience I encountered was utterly chaotic, stemming from the practice's failure to perform the financed work that had been fully paid for, due to a missed appointment caused by a chronic illness that necessitated my urgent hospitalization. Interacting with an entirely misogynistic individual, the practice manager, who finds it acceptable to issue falsified invoices and threatens to withhold £600 from a £1300 refund, is unacceptable. This is justified in their perspective, as they hold me accountable for the practice's personal protective equipment (PPE) and the wages of nurses they had to enlist for an appointment, alongside an implantologist's guide, as it appears the implantologist lacks the competence to execute such intricate procedures. The practice exhibits a complete lack of empathy; the telephone assistants contact you devoid of any professionalism and offer advice that is entirely inaccurate. Each time I have exited the practice following an appointment, I have been burdened with an exorbitant bill for unnecessary work, which seems to be a strategy they employ to extract funds from patients for services rendered outside of regular hours. I strongly advise avoiding this practice, as they demonstrate a total absence of empathy, disregard for patient needs, and a lack of concern for mental health issues, which are significantly neglected by this establishment.
Dear Hayley Howell/Harvey, We are disappointed and Saddened to read your Review. We have tried our best to help you with your dental implant treatment. However, you have failed to attend 7 dental appointments with us now including cancelling a 4 hour implant surgery appointment 15 minutes before the treatment was due to go ahead. We have lost many hours of chairside time at our dental practice when we could have been helping other dental patients. Furthermore, we have incurred significant costs including ordering dental implants bespoke for you, hiring extra staff to help with your dental implant surgery, printing surgical guides in order to assist with your dental implant treatment and you did not attend your appointment. If you are feeling unwell, then the fairest thing would be to give us fair & reasonable notice so we can help provide dental care to other patients who need to see us to help fix their toothaches and pains. However, no notice was given and you did not attend 7 appointments with us. Despite this, we have given you a Full Refund for your Financed treatment- the practice has fully absorbed the costs of you failing to attend your dental appointments. Furthermore, our Staff often get excellent praise from patients for their telephone manner, professionalism and courtesy. We have over 35,000 patients registered with us many of whom are delighted with the Customer Service displayed by our Staff. Our Prices are also excellent. We only charge £36 for a check up whether that's in the evening or the daytime. We are also open 7 Days a Week & 365 Days a Year and our Prices reflect that we are the Best Value Dental Practice in Stafford. Many patients comes to us as we offer such excellent value and high quality dental care. We have seen you on Evenings and Weekends to help you with dental care and never charged you more than £170 for out of hours emergency dental care, which is excellent pricing compared to other out of hours emergency dentists- many of whom charge over £500 for an emergency tooth extraction when we only charged £170 for the same treatment. We have kindly agreed that it is best for you to seek dental treatment elsewhere and we wish you all the best for the Future. Kind Regards, Church Lane Dental
Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible customer service! Called the practise at 20:43pm on a Saturday evening, was in and seen (new patient) with my 5 year old by 21:00pm, out the door with a diagnosis, follow-up and antibiotics in all of 15 minutes! Will definitely be using these guys for the kids from now on! Extremely competitive prices if going private too!

Fantastic experience: Visited today for an emergency appointment after some pain, very nervous to visit but Dentist Usman instantly put me at ease, very reassuring and calming! Fantastic experience: Lovely dentist and staff, dealt with me efficiently , was just a check up, but will update after my treatment *So my update on bonding on a front tooth, it looks fabulous, I also had a deep clean treatment. My teeth have came up lovely and clean after the deep clean treatment, the staff are lovely , from the dentist, dental nurse , to the reception staff. Best dental treatment, if the standards stay, then so will I! It’s June 28th 2025, just an update on a check up, still nice staff and dentist , thorough check up , and I’m back soon for a deep clean.

Fantastic experience: Don’t usually do this type of thing and write reviews, but all I can say is WOW!! 10/10 service clean and respectful and very helpful people. I had a pain from one of the wisdom tooth molars and without any pain with the injections for pain relief to make it numb it was really really efficient and quick at the time without any pain or discomfort at all I’ve been other dentist in my time but wow was he good last time going to another dentist I had an awful time with pain. He recommended me to take to antibiotics and yes in a little bit of pain right now which is understandable but very recommended will definitely be returning again!!!!! Also 7 days a week I’ve travelled from stoke so brilliant!!!

Fantastic experience: Having fear of going to the dentist I went for an emergency appointment. Dr Khan was absolutely brilliant! Put me at ease even though I needed two teeth removing. I then booked for my extraction absolutely petrified and was seen by Dr Khan again. I can honestly say I was worried over nothing. He was so calming and made sure I did not feel a thing!

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment on Friday with Raj after a disappointing experience at my regular dentist. He immediately put me at ease, explained the procedure ( root canal filling) and was very encouraging during a challenging procedure. I was very impressed with both the professionalism and kindness shown. I'm now waiting for the procedure to be completed and I am in the process of switching dentist!

Fantastic experience: I sent an enquiry on their website at 3am, the morning after a failed (and botched) tooth extraction from another dentist, I was in agony. By 9am they had contacted me back and found me an appointment that night for an emergency (and possible surgical) extraction. Everyone from the receptionist to dentist himself were brilliant, they were all incredibly supportive and nice. The Dentist had the tooth out within a minute of trying and I didn't feel a thing. I would 100% return for any more extractions or dental work. I drove over an hour to the clinic and wasn't disappointed. Also the dental nurse was amazing at keeping my partner who was waiting outside informed of everything as it was happening.

Fantastic experience: Moved to this practice after 36 years with previous. Saw Raj who checked all teeth and gums and gave me a written plan and quote for some work . Professional and friendly and a pleasure to visit dentist!!! Also the quote was to my liking and I left not feeling ripped off .

Fantastic experience: Excellent service from start to finish. I was in a lot of pain on a weekend when I found this dentist online and it was open 24/7 and 365 days a year. The reception staff are very friendly and will help you get an appointment straight away. My dentist Waseem even stayed to fit me in at 10.30pm and it was after midnight after receiving treatment. I was so grateful as I was also going on holiday. I have my own nhs dentist however I am now considering moving and going private with Church lane dental as I was so impressed by the service they provide.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience here from what was a recommendation from my partner. I visited the dentist with two specific issues, a cavity in my lower right tooth and a chip in my lower left tooth. I pointed both issues out to the dentist; initially, a great response was swift, and I was booked in quickly. The appointment was approximately 1 hour. I received a scale and polish/X-rays and 2 fillings. Sadly, the dentist chose to ignore the issues I pointed out, instead completing other work (which was not discussed with me) which I had not requested or brought to their attention. In the case of other work being required, I would have expected a dental treatment plan with future appointments. In this case, I came in with a clear issue and left the same issue 100% still there! Now £500 lighter. Not great; for all I know, you're amazing dentists, but please listen to your customer. Needless to say, I won't be returning. In this instance you do not deserve the work.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing dental practise. I am extremely scared of needles and going to the dentist to the point of working myself up and being sick. I went today and was with the lovely Raj, I ended up needing not 1 but 2 tooth extractions one being a wisdom tooth. I didn't feel anything he spoke to me all the way through the process and I couldn't of been more comfortable if he tried. I actually left ... laughing! & I'm not dreading going back soon. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this dental practice enough. Severe tooth pain over Bank Holiday Monday, by 20:00 I was in the dental chair, shaking like a leaf. The dentist took the time to put my mind at ease, numbed the area and I didn’t feel anything during the extraction. Seriously looking for a tooth extraction there is no one better. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Booked an emergency dental appointment on a Sunday morning for 11:40am, was seen shortly after that time, but the minor delay was negated by the instant calming of Mr Khan. I was terrified I had dry socket from a recent tooth extraction (I did) but the medication and prescription was sorted in 10min. Whilst the process wasn't pleasant, it's the best of a bad situation. Efficient, pleasant reception and waiting area. If I have any other issues, it's comforting to know that this place is 24/7.

Negative experience: This dentist feels more interested in selling on additional work than in accurate diagnosis or customer care. My advice is to be wary. Note that only my first name is visible on Google so it would be impossible for this dentist to search for me in their real life records. They do have a record, they just do not have the information necessary to find it.

Fantastic experience: I had severe tooth ache on the Saturday and by Sunday i was ready top pull it out myself. I tried my own Dentist but could not get in until the Thursday not an option. I went on line and found Church Lane Dental Stafford and was glad i did i phoned them and the wonderful receptionist took my number and 5 mins later phoned me back with an appointment that night. I arrived 40 minutes later and was greeted by the very friendly young lady on the reception a bit of paper work later and i was sent into the waiting room less than a minute later I was introduced to Dr Akram Shahed 20 minutes later the fractured tooth was gone, the pain was gone and i was a very happy man. I was given a follow up appointment to make sure every thing was fine and after a phone call the following week i did not need the follow up appointment all was good. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice i wold certainly use them again a big Thank You.

Fantastic experience: I was warmly welcomed at the reception. The dentist was kind took his time to explain things to my understanding. I recommend this clinic. The hygiene is top notch, they also offer finance for teeth treatment but you would need to apply and hope they accept. Everything here was lovely. I wish I could leave there but I had to go back home.

Fantastic experience: Excellent friendly service, broke my tooth on Friday evening and got an appointment the following day, had to have a tooth extraction but was in and out within half an hour, would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr Usman was amazing. We had to take our daughter for an emergency visit and ended up having her tooth removed. He was very reassuring with her and in her words ‘super gentle and kind’. This was our first visit there and it was brilliant. All the staff were very friendly which made her feel comfortable.
