Fantastic experience: Went for an emergency appointment today - they got me booked in so quickly. I’ve had some really bad experiences with previous dentists that have made me really anxious about going to the dentist but Tohoor and Morgan were amazing! So understanding, patient and reassuring with my fear of dentists and needles! Explained everything that was going to be done so well, as well as aftercare for my tooth extraction and kept checking in on me during the procedure. Will definitely be going to Jamil Dental for all my dental needs from now on.

Fantastic experience: After years of regular appointments at my local NHS dentist I was concerned as I was having a few problems with my teeth but was being told ‘everything was ok’. However after finding the Jamil practice ,I have received wonderful care and treatment from Tohoor Chowdhury(TC) the dentist and his kind assistant Morgan who have been looking after me .Whilst I was sad I needed so much work (considering I never missed my dental check ups with my NHS dentist) , I am thrilled with my crowns and filings I have received. The service has been amazing , friendly and informative. The receptionist staff are kind and supportive with excellent communication.I would highly recommend this Dental practice. Thank you all xxx

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and clean practice. Everyone’s so lovely and professional they all make you feel extremely comfortable which helps with the nerves of being at a dentist. Couldn’t recommend a more professional and comforting dentist to anyone. They’re very affordable. Really speak to you about your options. Receptionists are very friendly and warm welcoming. If your after a chilled back dentist then jamil dental is the one to go to.

Negative experience: Today, me and my boyfriend (he's the patient) came for a checkup for his cavities, and the dentist was fine, until they asked me "you and him look similar, are you related?" and we said dating (gay relationship), then they went quite and gave us both stinking looks and became quite unpleasant towards us, which was certainly because of our sexuality, and we realised this instantly and even more so once we saw other reviews (5s) from others. This is enough grounds to call this Dentist homophobic, and we ain't afraid to say it. This ain't the '70s no more. Absolutely disgusting. I believe it's because he was from an Arab background with that kind of attitude, and that's no excuse in a Western country. We ain't happy and won't be coming back, ever again!!!!! Thanks to you lot, my boyfriend didn't feel safe there, and he doesn't trust private services anymore, so thanks a lot. He was sick several times and shaking the whole way home because of the experience. They tried to overcharge him as well, for another filling appointment he never even agreed to; and, had I not stepped in, he would've panicked and paid the full amount he never agreed to pay. Awful. I don't recommend this place for LGBTQ people at all. Anyone with decency will be disgusted with this. More context: another younger patient came out that very same room completely happy with his treatment, while us being a gay couple were treated differently because of who we are.

This is my new, permanent dental practice. I have now had my first hygienist appointment , it was great. I have always been dental phobic, but I was totally at ease the professional and friendly staff. 10 out of 10. After 3 years, my experience at this practice continues to be 5 stars. The improvement in my oral health has been noticeable and the conscientious treatment has been responsible for this improvement. A first class dental practice and I am so glad to to have found them.

Fantastic experience: Attended the practice today and was made to feel at ease on arrival. Tohoor ,Morgan and all staff at the practice have been unbelievably patient over the past weeks in ensuring the correct plan was put in place for my dental issues. Tohoor took the time to explain my X-rays and the treatment needed whilst addressing my high levels of anxiety with a calm reassuring tone. The team have been amazing with regard to ensuring I had dental care (often at short notice) when I was experiencing extreme levels of pain and I cannot thank Tohoor and the Hirwaun team but also Jamil at the Caerphilly practice enough. Since attending the service I have never felt hurried but listened too , which is rare these days given my experience at other practises and moving forward I am no longer fearful nor anxious of getting further work on my teeth completed. A 10 out of 10 amazing service.

Fantastic experience: Great For The Terrified! In a way this is half a review and in another it is three reviews. I am half way through my treatment, (half a review), and I have visited three times, (three reviews). My 50 odd year history with dentists is pretty shocking. I have always been nervous, I have a very low pain threshold and historically have needed a lot of work, most of which has been painful beyond belief! I ended up taking my last dentist to court for the mess they made of my mouth, then did not visit a dentist for EIGHT years: I just could not face it. Well after eight years, you can imagine my teeth were literally falling apart. Enter these guys: specifically Tohoor. He has been patient, taken my treatment, my nerves and my, (probably unrealistic), concerns into account and has, very carefully, carried out quite a lot of work. So far I have had: 2 fillings. 1 mouth scan. Two temporary teeth fitted. The prep work for 2 bridges and 2 crowns. If anyone reading this knows even a little about dentistry, they will know that some of the above can be very painful and some can be extremely uncomfortable. I would describe mine as manageable, even for a difficult patient like me. The quality of the work so far has been first class and I cannot wait to see the finished smile. The cost? I would be lying if I said it was cheap but I would ask you this question, “Do you want cheap or do you want good work without drama or pain? I highly recommend Tohoor and Jamil Dental as a practice.

(I wanted my teeth to look like when i was younger )I hadn't been to.the dentist for quite a few years after having a bad experience but I had tooth ache in a back tooth and so reluctantly had an emergency appointment in my local dentist called Forest Dental . During my visit there I mentioned I was unhappy with the appearance of my teeth and asked about composite bonding ,and the dentist there recommended .I had a consultation with Toohor at Jamil Dental and I'm.so glad I did . He explained in detail why my teeth were worn down and very sensitive and what treatment was most suitable . The team at jamil dental are extremely friendly while remaining professional. I am thrilled with out come of my treatment . The whole process was pain free and relaxed . And the results are exactly what I wanted and natural looking . Fantastic experience: After contacting the surgery online regarding a consultation I was promptly responded to via WhatsApp arranging a swift appointment. Upon consultation I was greeted with a warm welcome to a peaceful and professional environment. After signing up we went ahead with an oral examination, xrays, assessment and continued with a treatment plan in place. I'm pleased to say that I am happy with the level of care and service that I am receiving from the practice and look forward to improving my dental hygiene with Jamil Dental.

Fantastic experience: I can't speak highly enough of Jamil Dental. I first attended on January 3rd. I had a tooth which had been troubling me for some time & which had developed a cavity the depth of which was akin to a swimming pool. Eventually I plucked up enough courage to 'phone and was offered an appointment that same day. Initially I was advised to have the tooth extracted but, due to my nervousness, I opted to try having it saved by a root canal & a course of antibiotics. I was given a further appointment soon after but which I had to cancel until the 21st when I met dentist Tahoor. Although not able to save the tooth (it had split to the root) Tahoor explained my options enabling me to choose to have a temporary bridge fitted following extraction. Throughout the entire process both Tahoor and the dental nurse were professional and caring to the extreme. By the end of the procedure - had I not had been told that I'd lost a tooth, so good was his work, I thought my original tooth had been repaired and saved - the work was to that high a standard. I'm due to return in March for the fitting of the permanent bridge, which I'm actually looking forward to. It goes without saying that I thoroughly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: 6 weeks dental work in 5 days. Tohoor and Jamil pulled out all all the stops to help me in my emergency dental needs. The quality and sensitivity of the service was nothing short of excellent. The on call staff speaking on a Sunday, was kind and helpful arranging an early appointment for me, and followed this up with a text. Tohoor was sensitive and professional, he was able to calm my anxiety and make it happen literally with minutes of me arriving in the dentist. Jamil, planned the work, appointments and expectations of the week keeping me up to date on what to expect. They were true to their word and the quality of the dental work is excellent. Every member of staff I met, recognised my stress and anxiety and were all very sensitive and helpful. I would recommend this dental practice every time.
