Fantastic experience: Took my Daughter to have a tooth extracted, the whole experience was first class from start to finish. All staff made her feel welcome and relaxed at all times everything was explained to her which helped as she was very anxious. Cannot thank everyone enough

Fantastic experience: Hewitt's have always been excellent throughout each and every appointment I have had with them. From stepping through the door the reception staff are polite, helpful and efficient and my dentist and dental nurse are always Professional and thorough with explanation of the treatment plan and the costs and explaining the procedure on the day of appointment. I have appreciated the extra lengths the practice have put in place during the Covid pandemic ensuring staff and patients safety. Thank you to all for running a brilliant practice.

Fantastic experience: I attended my half yearly dental appointment recently and are pleased to record my satisfaction at the excellent reception attention I was given and the dental treatment I received from my dentist and his assistant during my visit. I have attended the current practice and previous owners/providers since my twenties - I am now 74 years old. I have always received very professional service and would recommend Hewitt's Dental practice as an organisation to approach on any dental matter.

Fantastic experience: I had the misfortune of breaking off a bit of one of my lower teeth. I went to see Sam my usual dentist as to what options were available to me in terms of filling, repair etc. He was his usual friendly and professional self outlining what they were. The initial work was done immediately and less than a week later a permanent cap was fitted. I'm delighted with the outcome.

Positive experience: I needed an emergency appointment for 2 teeth removing, one was hardly there so just over one tooth. The receptionist wasn't very friendly, the dental nurse didn't even introduce herself and I was in pain and very nervous. The dentist was really nice he explained everything in detail and removed my teeth. I was charged almost £450 for this service. I feel that I have been overcharged as since then I have priced the same treatment up at other private dentists and the amount is nowhere what I paid. I feel let down by a dentist that used to be a NHS dentist.

Negative experience: Just had the worst experience possible - I don’t like leaving such reviews as the treatment is of quality but part of this review is valuing your customers who have paid thousands of pounds in treatment over the last 10 years at least. Booked in for £900 treatment first week of July and am expected to pay 50% upfront £450 (never heard of a deposit of 50%), never been asked before - 4 weeks before the actual appointment. Shocked about the attitude and the lack of understanding and I’ve not even had the treatment yet! You really need to look at your policy if that’s your excuse of demanding money; had nearly three calls made for the demand and was so very disappointed with this. I do intend to pay following the treatment and don’t plan to abscond following the treatment but just made me feel I wasn’t trusted as a patient. So very embarrassing.

Fantastic experience: Very straightforward, identified the problem, gave options for solutions and fixed with a crown the next day. Superb service and much better than the experiences with BUPA which I have used previously. Just had a general checkup and everything was explained with good suggestions going forward.

Fantastic experience: My children have been going to Sabrina for years since they were very young and they really enjoy attending their appointments each time. Sabrina is very friendly and warm, she puts the children at ease and is very nurturing. Sabrina is a fab dentist and has really taken time to get to know my children over the years to establish a great relationship with them. It’s great that throughout my children’s childhood they have been lucky enough to have a consistent named dentist which is rare nowadays

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming at Reception, very friendly. Everyone who I saw there had a smile for me. Very nice place, comfortable seating & I thought the surgery decor & surroundings looked very pleasing to the eye. Once again on my 2nd visit it all went perfectly. Faiz Khan was really nice & told me what he was doing every step of the way & the do’s & dont’s after the treatment was finished. He’s very good. Would highly recommend this dental practice to all & I highly recommend Faiz Khan too, brilliant

Negative experience: Cleaned left side by hygienists numbness went but I didn't feel right every time I moved my head it would start shaking I was going dizzy I had mental confusion and I wasn't right until Sunday my appointment was Thursday morning

Negative experience: Had my New patient (£26) examination big sign up outside surgery to advertise this offer. App was 24.3.25 2.30pm booked on-line paid £26 all in no Extra charges on any emails nor screenshots I took appointment was 2.30-3.20pm as specified I've screenshot of this my appointment lasted approximately 25 mins! When I left receptionist said I owed them almost £45…! Apparently due to X -rays....now I never asked for these as customer feedback to the dentist please ask the patient if they require this service at that price! As a single parent with a young child that's sneaky from the surgery Trading Standards will be informed anyone with mental health issues or learning difficulties please be aware of this scam! If you advertise at £26 then demand almost £70 for visiting the surgery take down your misleading sign ASAP... Very poor all round personally thought all the surgery we're bothered about was to get me to sign up to their monthly dental plans. Impossible to recommend.

Fantastic experience: I saw seby who very promptly sorted my upper retainer out as I lost it and it was made within the day. Was my first visit and it was a very clean, friendly atmosphere . I would definitely visit again if I need to. Was by far the cheapest for a retainer , as I did get prices elsewhere and they were ridiculous. Thank you.

Negative experience: I had a last minute appointment with maximin facial to have some lumps checked out it clashed with dental appointment even though I could prove it was last minute the dental surgery have fined me. They should be encouraging men to get lumps checked out not punishing them but well done GP and nhs for getting me an xray blood test and specialist appointment all in 6 days shame on dental surgery very poor decision end of day I paid smile care all year why would I not want the appointment. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Hewett's dental for 20 years with my children and I can honestly say they are amazing. We have seen Seby for many many years and he is so lovely and puts you at ease immediately. He is amazing with our autistic child, who suffers from anxiety. I also suffer from anxiety and he puts me at ease also. I saw the hygienist yesterday for a filling and clean and polish and she was brilliant with me, I was extremely anxious, but she had a very calm demeanour and numbed the areas before injecting the anaesthetic so I didn't feel it. I wasn't the easiest of patients but she took her time with me and the result was fantastic!! I would highly recommend Hewett's to anyone, especially those who are nervous

The focus seems to be entirely on making money, with treatments that feel unnecessary and added on the fly. There’s little to no transparency, and patient care feels like an afterthought. I expected professionalism and compassion, but unfortunately, I found neither. I would not recommend this practice to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dental team.

Fantastic experience: Booked a same day emergency appointment and was treated so well. I'm a very nervous patient and my dentist took the time to sit with me until I was ready, explain everything, answer my questions and reassure me through the whole process and I left with no pain which was amazing. Fantastic experience: Joined as a new patient and in my first appointment I was made to feel at ease by Deksha and had everything explained to me . Came back a couple of weeks later for treatment for a broken tooth , had two appointments in one day to sort it all and even had time to fix another issue which means I don’t have to come back again . All the staff I’ve dealt with are lovely, and the surgery feels welcoming and not too clinical . If you are a bit nervous about visiting the dentist I recommend .

Unfortunately stayed for only 1 year . To check again I need to pay extra money . I had so many experience with dentist and my fillings stay for more then 1 year . I rather spend more money and find better clinic then every year go to the same clinic to fix the same tooth with no guarantee how long will stay tooth filling

Fantastic experience: My whole experience with Hewett’s Dental 46-48 Bradford Rd, Brighouse has been excellent from start to finish. Really professional atmosphere and friendly staff. Dr Seby is the king of creating beautiful teeth. He always inform me of what he was doing during the check-up to keep me reassured which I feel is important. My dental treatment was Invisalign along with whitening and composite bonding and the results are fantastic. I'm over the moon with the results. A Special mention to Dr Seby dental nurse who is so kind and really knows what she is doing. The staff are all really lovely and it has been a pleasure going to this practice. They are very organised and their timekeeping is perfect which I haven't experienced at any other dentist before! I will always recommend Hewett’s Dental and will continue using them! I highly recommend them. Also Highly recommend Kirstie Chan @ Hewett dental! She was exceptional and much better than any hygienist I’ve tried in the past. My teeth look fantastic and feel really clean, and she clearly communicated what she was doing at all times which really helped me to feel at ease. After she was done she took the time to give me some great tips on brushing/flossing too. Oh, and the added flow treatment is Really worth having done when having a clean as it takes the cleanness and whiteness of your teeth to another level.

Negative experience: Dreadful Experience with Thamer Kaftan (Tam) I recently had a dreadful encounter with Thamer Kaftan, a dentist who performed a filling on my tooth. Regrettably, the job was executed poorly, leaving me extremely dissatisfied with the outcome. To make matters worse, the dentist attempted to overcharge me for the subpar service provided. This left me feeling deeply frustrated and betrayed as a patient. I spent £49 to secure my appointment and an extra £190 for the filling, supposedly determined by the required size, which turned out to be only half the size of a rice grain. Ultimately, I paid a total of £239, which was less than the initial bill. However, the treatment not only failed to relieve my pain and sensitivity but also resulted in a smaller tooth and introduced new sensitivity issues. Thamer Kaftan clearly lacks the necessary skills to perform even a basic filling. I strongly urge anyone seeking dental treatment to steer clear of this dentist. I hope that my experience serves as a vital lesson for others contemplating this dentist for their dental needs. It is of utmost importance to meticulously research and choose a dentist who genuinely prioritises their patients' well-being and delivers quality care at a fair price.

Fantastic experience: Phone receptionist friendly, efficient and accommodating. On arrival reception team friendly & infomative. During my first appointment the Dentist was very informative about what he was doing and very happy to answer questions. For future work on my teeth I was provided with a plan which was very precise and well set out. Thus far I am very happy with the service and team at Hewett's.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a couple of appointments recently, one routine with Liz the Hygienist, where she found a problem with my gums that are a side effect of my medication. This resulted in a call to my doctors to make changes. A brilliant spot and one that could have been problematic further down the line. I had a follow up appointment with Hamed who did further checks and put a treatment plan in place. I used to be the most terrified patient before I started attending Hewetts many years ago. I can’t recommend them highly enough

Fantastic experience: I've always dreamed of having a beautiful smile and I never thought it would be possible as I had a gummy smile, fangs and wonky teeth. I had gum lift surgery, veneers and crowns and it's been the best thing I've ever done - it's been nearly a year from start to finish and Hewett's Dental have been wonderful. At almost 66 years old I'm learning to smile and show my teeth which is something I've never done! Thank you all at Hewett's, especially Dr Seby.

Fantastic experience: After many years of very heavily filled amalgam teeth, of course something had to give. In this case it was a large back lower molar. This was made doubly exciting by an abscess starting to form. Long story short, it's out I have antibiotics and the whole experience was good, really caring and I felt I was extremely well supported.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this dentist enough especially Dr Deshka Jaswal! I came as an emergency appointment because I cracked my tooth and I saw Deshka who examined me and then talked me through a treatment plan, there was no hidden costs and everything was thoroughly explained. I have now finished my treatment plan which all went great and I plan to continue at this dentist now as the service has been brilliant.
