Fantastic experience: I Have been with this practice for many years as my actual dentist ( R ) is the best dentist person I have ever had . The practice itself is very professional and the reception staff very professional and friendly and during the pandemic took proper actions to safe guide all. All my visits are 10 out of 10. Negative experience: I had an appointment with this practice on Monday 14/7/25 with Ranata xx for a 6 months check up Firstly I was the first appointment but two others were at the desk before me because of the hold up of payment before being seen when it came to my appointment I was 7 minutes late even though got into the queue/ waiting room at 9 AM I just feel that whoever' came up up with the idea ought to have a rethink because as a patient you still have to return to the desk for a print out receipt in order to send off to claim it back where as before you booked in quickly then paid for the service received and got your receipt and prescription stamped after you were leaving the surgery much simpler and certainly much quicker booking in

Fantastic experience: Earlier this week I broke a back tooth that already had a filling so I called the receptionist who got me an appointment the next day with my dentist Mr Matlube. He explained my options and smoothed off the sharp edges of the broken tooth that was driving me crazy and got me in the very next day for the repair. I had the filling done and I am massively impressed with how it looks, Mr Matlube is a real perfectionist and his work is amazing. I am very happy with the service provided by Hillcrest especially when you hear of people in some areas of the country waiting weeks for repairs like this. Thank you guys

Fantastic experience: First class treatment here . At 8.30 am I realised that I had broken or lost a filling from an important tooth. I contacted the dentist at 9.am I was offered an emergency appointment at 10am. I was seen by my usual dentist who identified the problem..filled the offending tooth . I was home by 11.am you can’t get better treatment than that.

Fantastic experience: Had a surgical removal of a tooth with Damira Hilcrest dentist today. Can honestly say it was a very pleasant experience. I tend to avoid the dentist if possible and considered cancelling my appointment a few times but I am so happy I did not. Everyone I spoke to was really friendly and helpful, Ridhwan who did the extraction was especially comforting. He never made me feel insecure about anything and was updating me through the whole procedure by letting me know what to expect. I will be booking more regular check ups here and highly recommend

Negative experience: I called the practice seeking an emergency appointment and was shocked by how rude and unprofessional the call centre staff were. Instead of offering help or showing any empathy, they were dismissive and abrupt throughout the call. In a stressful situation where compassion and efficiency are expected, I was met with the complete opposite. Very disappointed with the level of service — this is not how a healthcare facility should treat people in need.

Positive experience: Experince not good to be told at the 3nd of inspection that cleaning and polishing is not undertaken any more for NHS patients even though the cost is the cost is the same. Renta polish dentist lovely as usual

Positive experience: Hygienist's equipment was faulty. The nurse had to frequently adjust the flow of the water. Hygienist informed me that as the 4 front teeth in my upper jaw had been removed, I didn't need My teeth polished! If I pay for a clean & Polish, I expect to get a Polish.

Fantastic experience: As always very professional. My one caveat is online completion of the medical history and other forms. It seems to be impossible to do this without involving a smartphone at some stage. I do not want to get involved with smartphones nor do I believe it is necessary. I have raised this before. Fantastic experience: So what's to say? Fear of the Dentist! Not at this Dental Practice. Excellent and caring service. I saw the Hygienist first with the thought of "This will be painful.". Not so. Really efficient and thorough with no pain or twinges at all. Then had a regular check-up that was also worriless. A good conversation about how to take care of the gnashers and general oral hygiene. Lessons learnt. Highly recommend this service.

Negative experience: Why have you started using a call centre not impressed I phone up last Friday morning on 7/3/25 if I could get in as an emergency patient was told that the clinic would phone me back on that day but nobody did went to clinic on Monday 10/3/25 to which I got appointment that day when I told them I’d phoned up Friday they told me that they had no message about my call not, impressed at all

Fantastic experience: 28/2/2025 Another check up appointment and still a great dentists. Donna on reception was efficient and lovely. Dental nurse Sarah and Hamzeh, the Dentist could not have been better. In a time of stories of Dentist difficulties I feel extremely fortunate. Despite needing dental treatment following my check-up a few weeks ago it was a very good experience. Very professional and a welcoming environment. Fantastic experience: Recently, I noticed that a tooth had become very sensitive to hot and cold liquids. Consequently, I experienced toothache whenever I cleaned my teeth or had a hot drink. I telephoned Damira and was offered an appointment for later that day. My dentist advised me that I had an abscess in my gum and she set-out a plan of treatment to resolve the problem which involved taking a course of penicillin, to counter the infection, followed by a further visit to remove and replace the filling, in the tooth. Obviously the sooner that I visited my dentist, the sooner the problem would be resolved. Therefore I am grateful that I was examined so swiftly, after telephoning the practice.

Positive experience: Waiting times aren't great. Was seen 30 minutes after my scheduled time and it was one of the first appointments of the day. Also have had appointments cancelled numerous times at very short notice and then have been offered an alternative appointment several weeks afterwards. But when I insisted the appointment went ahead and was happy to see someone else, they saw us on the same date. Been with this surgery for 20 years and unfortunately it isn't as good as it used to be a few years ago. However the dentists we see are good and handle the children well.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, crumbling old filling removed, root canal done in preparation for crown. All done without any injection and totally painless. Bit uncomfortable at time as it was a very back tooth so not easy to get at. However, all done swiftly, it does take a bit more time than a regular filling but very professionally done. My dentist Nugman is first class.
