Fantastic experience: I went to see the hygienist Nicola, she was fantastic and very patient. As I am frightened to death of dentists.

Fantastic experience: I was allways petrified to go to the Dentist. And my gums and teeth have suffered because of it. Until I came to Cavendish dental. My Dentist has been so understanding with me, she has taken the time to get to know me and my fear. I'm not treated like I'm being silly. I still have my Teeth as a result of this Dentist ..I was in such a bad state I dread to think what my smile would be now if I hadn't gone to this Dentist.. Other Dentists just didn't care .

Positive experience: I have been going to Cavendish Dental for over a decade. The staff are amazing. So nice and welcoming. They are very helpful if you have any questions. They notice if you are nervous and explain what they'll be doing. They don't rush you.

I would like to thank poonam and her assistant sorry can't remember her name. The professionalism that I was shown was above and beyond. Regards Glenn Having lived with my new teeth for a while. I have had some problems with a crown on front teeth. It fell off i went back and was charged 168 pound to fix it back on. I said there and then that there was not enough existing tooth for it to be bonded to. Also veneers have come away from my lower teeth. I have had to resort to fixing the crown with dental glue. Which only stays for a short period. It all seems to me its all about cash. As soon as u sit down it is costing u. The bill i recieaved was not as one it was as each time i visited u paid. I am now left with a 700 pound crown and missing veneers. If u return there will be a reason as to why u have problems with teeth. Then u will be charged an extortionate price for treatment they r abliged to put right.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at 13.30 and was greeted by Kirsty who was very friendly and gave me a warm welcome, then I was only seated for a short time when I was called in to see my dentist again they' were very friendly and welcoming I sat down and with the staff I felt at ease the dentist continued to talk to me to let me know what was happening and in no time things were over, the dentist explained to me what was needed in my upcoming appointment, the dentist booked my appointment while I was waiting, very efficient service. I returned today to have a follow-up to continue further treatment and again as mentioned above I received excellent service from Kirsty on the reception through to my dentist Doctor Chitkara and her Nurse Alina. My treatment was very smooth, no pain, I felt so at ease and both the Dentist and the Nurse were fantastic. On my visit today I was greeted by a young lady who was very professional with a friendly smile and greeting. On booking in I waited for a short while then I was escorted into a room where my dentist Doctor Chitkara was waiting and she greeted me and made me feel at ease straight away. On sitting down her assistant began to prepare me for my treatment. The Doctor went through my records to check that everything was up to date. Then she started examining my mouth and while she was checking she explained everything that was needed. All the time I felt at ease. I felt this visit was excellent like all off the other visits. Appointment 16/05/2023 Tuesday On entering the dental practice I was greeted by Kirsty who was very friendly and professional and what I liked is how she remembered me from my last appointment. The great thing I find is the dental practice keeps me informed on when my next appointment will be by text. I was early but I went in on time for my appointment at 9 am. I went into see Poonan my dentist she greeted with a smile and welcomed me in and asked me to take a seat, when I sat down she asked me if I had any changes to my prescriptions she said she was checking for her records . While the dentist was checking my teeth she kept me informed on what was wrong and then go on to advise me on what she recommends I need . All the time I felt so relaxed and happy with my treatment. The treatment didn't take too long. I'm very pleased with my whole appointment. I would highly recommend you to visit this practice they're extremely professional in every way. 04/09/2023. Today was supposed to be a check up but I broke one of my teeth. When entering my dentist room i explained my problem and she was happy to help. After the dentist examined my broken tooth she explained my options, i asked if it would be possible to remove my tooth she said the tooth could be removed today. The dentist worked on my tooth and was reassuring me all through the process. In no time my tooth was removed. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my treatment this is the best dentist i have ever been too. 10 out of 10. Once again. Thank you very much. As usual I received a friendly and warm welcome. I met Sarah for the first time and she was very friendly and reassuring, after examining me she explained to me what course of action is needed and how this would proceed. Fantastic experience: This dental surgery is the best. Kirsty and the other receptionist are friendly and efficient. I had terrible pain and I called up each day for an emergency appointment, on the second day I was told to arrive and there could be upto a 2 hour wait. My wait time was only around 30 mins and I was seen by my dentist who explained the pain I was experiencing was down to needing a deep route canal treatment. I was given a temporary filling and a course of antibiotics, The dentists here care so much about their patients. I am so lucky to be a patient here. Thank you

A lot of people dislike visiting the dentist but the staff are all so lovely and professional. Nothing is too much trouble and they are all so helpful. Fantastic experience: Cavendish Dental Practice Derby I wasn't able to make my initial six monthly follow-up appointment due to illness and the receptionist/treatment coordinator Kirsty Berridge was very understanding and was able to reschedule my appointment the following month. On arrival I was quickly guided to the private patients waiting room. It's so relaxing in there as you wait just a short while. Your probably wandering 'how come I went there?' Well, from my last review I was considering going private with this dental practice and I am very glad I did. Mr Trishan Malhi practice owner and my dentist (For many years) was great. When I shared a possible concern he was able to put me at ease. Nicola Deakin the hygiene therapists and Alina Hussain trainee dental nurse also put me at ease, genuinely interested in how I am etc. My whole experience was second to none! For someone who has always been anxious going to the dentist, Malhi and his team never fail to provide an excellent service. It's much more convenient paying by direct debit monthly for a fantastic dental package. Don't just take my word for it, why not enquire yourself about becoming a private customer. You won't regret it, I didn't!

Fantastic experience: In the past I have had some traumatic experiences with dentists so I first went to Cavendish as they were welcoming nervous patients, throughout all my treatment everyone at the practice has been great. This last visit was for an appointment with Nicola who immediately puts me at ease and is friendly and informative. This time she was supported by Dave who is an absolute star and very efficient. Fantastic experience: Just got back from having a large filling and a thorough clean. I wondered if I would get an appointment at all but was very pleased by both the speed and safety of the procedure. The covid safety is first rate and I felt safe and protected. I was in the chair for an hour and felt everything was being done well and was told what was going on throughout. Thanks again Shweta Went back yesterday with an infection, was examined and the details of reason for infection and treatment fully discussed. Back for another check up and filling, things back to almost normal after COVID but still quality service it's good when somewhere actually does what it offers on the website. It really is caring dentistry. Back for a crown fitting. In and out very quickly with great service in between. Even more thanks Shweta Back for annual check up and clean, all very smooth and caring. Fantastic experience: Poonam and Mandy were great today especially when I shared my past experiences with a dentist which wasn’t very good. They were very informative about my problems and advised me with a best plan going forward. There was no pressure. Definitely recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: Went to attend my appointment as per advise by the dentist so here we go- after 2 visit they wanted to replace one of my filling and deep clean so I agreed and all paid, was told by dentist in few hours I will be fine. Day 1 after the visit really strong pain at the same place where the new filling was done, so I took pain killers and it worked as expected but after 4-5 hours later pain started again, cut long story short this happened for 4 days and then I decided to call the surgery to speak to dentist to ask why I am suffering with this, I was kindly given same day appointment to see the same dentist. So went to see the dentist to explain and after few check and x-ray done I was told it’s not the tooth with the filling done it must be a different tooth now giving me this pain which I disagree and challenged them, dentist ten said she will call someone senior to re check and some one did came after 15 mins wait to check me and did all the check she wants to Diane surprisingly she said it looks like little bit excess of filling been done so she asked the junior dentist to trim it from top which she did and I was told then it will take 2-4 weeks for pain to go which really shocked me and here I am after 8 days now still suffering with toothache unable to eat properly and sleep , this is affecting my day to day work and all I doing is taking painkillers 4 times a day. Worst experience really I hope no one else will have to go thorough like this treatment from this dentist. Just to add they did messed up with someone else I know with there treatment as well which they agreed and apologised to them so look like it’s normal practice for them.

Initially she came up with a plan of treatment, and talked me through each step and why it was needed. At each consultation she explained what she would be doing and how she would do each thing. Fantastic experience: Another positive experience with Cavendish Dental Practice which began with a text reminder of my appointment & receiving forms to complete online in preparation for my appointment 10/10/2025 Online form filling straightforward & easy to navigate from one page to another. Friendly greeting at reception & invited to go through to the private parient waiting room & wait to be taken to the dentist. I didn't have to wait long till the dentist's assistant arrived to escort me to the examination room where I was greeted by the friendly Dr Malhi. A really positive experience as Dr Malhi confirmed details i'd left on the forms before starting his examination. I was over the moon as no treatment required I was then taken to see the hygienist Nicola who was really welcoming, as was her assistant. It didn't take Nicola long as she was pleased with how I've been taking care of my teeth I can't praise this dental practice enough and would highly recommend them!!

Myself and my family have been seeing Kenny Mahli for many many years and his and his teams approach to dentistry is beyond compare. We will never use another. Kenny has so many skills with dentistry and on a personal level putting you at ease. And his work esp in the 'braces' is as a perfectionist and cannot be faulted at any level. From my family ...you are the best.

Fantastic experience: I'm not the most enthusiastic of people when it comes to going to the dentist. Some are like Steve Martin out of the Little Shop of Horrors, but Mr Marly and the hygienist I have been to see are exemplary in their understanding and compassion when it came to my care. I'm still not keen on dentists but I'm happier to go and see them again.

Fantastic experience: Having to have an appointment at short notice for a dental issue. Megan Clarkson the dental doctor was very professional and advised me that treatment was not possible due to what was required after taking x-rays and photos of the problem. Megan showed me the photos to help in the explanation of the treatment required and why she couldn't do the treatment required at short notice. Megan made me a follow up appointment a.s.a.p.

Positive experience: I must admit that I was disappointed that I would no longer be seeing an NHS dentist. I have been registered with this surgery for over 20 years and didn't want to change surgery. I arrived early and I was seen straight away by Meera the dental therapist and her assistant. They were very pleasant and put me at ease. Meera examined and cleaned my teeth. She also took an x-ray. I was happy with the care I was given.

Fantastic experience: I have undergone extensive dental treatment over the last four months having registered with the practice. I have to say how professional this practice has been. My treatment has all been explained to me and delivered with the highest degree of care regard and professionalism. Every attention to detail has been afforded to me and I once again can smile with confidence! All the staff have been absolutely delightful and proficient (I have always been seen on my appointment time) and very reassuring. Dr Shetye is truly a wonderful and talented dentist with a very warm and pleasing personality. Nurse Harelba again has been consistently reassuring, very pleasant and friendly making a great team. Positive experience: Nobody wants to go to the dentist, but going here always makes it that bit less fearful; always put at ease with a smile and a welcome, rarely kept waiting long and always explaining actions before taking them. They are very good at sending out appointments and the deal maker for forgetful me are the email and text reminders for upcoming appointments.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this dental practice, staff from the receptionists are lovely, suffer anxiety really bad when comes to the dentist, however I actually love attending appointments now knowing the dentist is caring and understanding with me but also very patient and polite, his assistants are always holding my hand whenever I've needed it and always keeping me calm, can not recommend enough, brilliant with all 3 of my children also I should add.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Cavendish Dental Practice for almost over decade although it's not nearest to my accomodation. However, given the service they provide it is worth traveling. CDP have a very diverse workforce and needless to say staff are very welcoming and professional. I like to take this opportunity to highlight Nicola Brown's work in CDP. She is absolutely amazing, she operates on clients’ teeths as if they are her own teeth, reassuring us through the process when operating, very careful, kind and super considering. Absolutely love her work

Negative experience: I've been to this practice a few times in the past and it was brilliant. However, my latest experience was really disappointing. I have not been seen by this doctor before. The actual checkup took only a few minutes, and I was not given any feedback. I had to ask if there were any issues or not. She has struggled with a basic x-ray, seeking for help from a different doctor. When the other doctor came through, they advised my doctor about using the wrong film holders, which explains why I could not bite on the holder they were previously using. I was not informed if I needed an appointment with a hygienist. I have not been asked or given any feedback about any brushing /flossing. The entire appointment felt very unprofessional, and I'm not confident this doctor could have identified any potential issues.

Fantastic experience: My experience here with Laura and her assistant was great! She was efficient, thorough and welcoming. After having so many bad experiences from other dentist practices, I would say this one is fantastic and I feel really reassured about my teeth. I am sorry to hear Zee is leaving, I hope the dentist I get is half as nice than her she knew I was very nervous of dentists but Zee was fantastic with me . Fantastic experience: Mr Malhi is one of the best dentists around, got time to make your visit easier, i am a nervous patient, but he and the staff at Cavendish Dentist are very friendly and helpful, 5***** all the way.

Fantastic experience: Never would I have thought I'd be saying this, 'being at the dentist actually didn't make me nervous. It was all down to Nicola Brown (Hygienist) and her assistant. She helps me relax, asking how I am and genuinely taking an interest. She creates opportunities if I need to take a breather. (Which I didn't) I used to be an NHS patient (Which that was okay) but I can see the benefits of being a private patient, paying a monthly direct debit fee that really is value for money in the long run. Would I recommend Cavendish Dental Practice Derby, absolutely

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly by your first name, and all the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. As a nervous patient, I greatly appreciate the special allowances they make to ensure my comfort and ease. Nicola, the hygienist, is particularly outstanding—she has a remarkable ability to make you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout your visit. Fantastic experience: The dentist was very good but the assistant didn't seem very friendly, wasn't smiling or anything also didn't understand what she was being told by the dentist he had to keep repeating himself although we heard him clearly. She wasn't paying much attention.

Fantastic experience: I’m always happy to visit this surgery. From the time you walk in , everything is efficient. Reception staff are amazing and all the doctors and dental staff are always so polite and friendly. Definitely worth signing up for, if they have spaces… lol .

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! I had not been to a dentist in around 10 years and began treatment here following toothache and needing the tooth removed. When I booked an appointment with Megan, I had a terrible fear of the dentist but there was no judgement here and I was immediately made to feel very at ease and we went through treatment at my own pace. I've worked through several appointments with Megan to help replace some fillings and improve my general dental hygiene; I no longer dread seeing the dentist thanks to her care and patience. This practice is amazing, always seeing me promptly, everyone is lovely, kind and professional. Thank you for helping me look after my teeth!

Fantastic experience: Always a great service from all staff at this dentist. They are very good with children and offer great dental care. The receptionists are always very welcoming. They are also very good at referring onto other services when needed and I have never had any issues getting an emergency appointment, either on the same day or the following day.

Negative experience: I went for an emergency appointment to have a temporary filling in one of my canine tooth. I was disappointed with the dentist. She was very impersonal and in a hurry during the consultation. I had to answer quickly to her questions otherwise her facial expression showed impatience. As a result, I ended up agreeing to have an X-ray taken, which I don’t think it was needed. The tooth that was X-rayed was a molar and not even close to the canine tooth that took me there. There was no invasive intervention at all and the filling was a temporary one. And this appointment lasted less than an hour. I paid £130 and I feel like I have been cheated. The two stars go to the receptionist. Despite that her tone of voice when talking to me changed to better when I talked to her on the same tone. Than she became polite. People need to understand that they have the job because someone is paying for that.

Fantastic experience: The environment is clean and welcoming. I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment. I arrived and was seen almost immediately. A request for my information and consent was sent to me prior to my appointment which was fantastic because it meant I wasn’t under pressure to complete it before my dentist called me through. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They are willing to help with any enquiries. My dentist is very friendly, took into account my vertigo during my check up and offered advice with regards to avoiding future dental issues. Small dental work was needed and my dentist took care of it there and then - taking into account my difficulty in getting time off work, for that I was grateful.

Fantastic experience: Friendly dentist surgery and excellent service .I also want to add all the staff are wonderful and I actually feel comfortable going to the dentists now. Also they go above and beyond to make it as painless as possible especially Nicola the hygienist. I'd recommend this practise to everyone .

Fantastic experience: From a regular check up, it was diagnosed that I needed three fillings, and all on my front teeth. This was not what I wanted to hear. One I knew about as the tooth had practically collapsed, there was only the remains of an old filling holding it together, but the dentist can see things with a mirror that I can't so you have to trust them. I am 66 years old and the only real pain I have ever really experienced in a dentist's chair was probably thirty years ago putting a crown on one of these self same teeth, when the dentist tried to anesthetize me with a needle into the gum above my top front teeth, and upon hitting a root, just decided to wiggle it around until he found flesh. I still remember the tears running out of my eyes and UP my face as I was lying prone. So I approached this dental session with a little bit of trepidation to say the least, but I needn't have worried. My dentist said I wouldn't need any anaesthetic and she was right. I was in and out within 30 minutes with my teeth all sorted and looking better than they have for ages, so all good! Ten out of ten.

Fantastic experience: Great in every way! The most caring and understanding dentists. I've been terrified of going to the dentist all my life until now. Knowing this they book me longer appointments and they go at my pace. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Pain Free with a Calm environment and very professional and Friendly Team you will be treated well from the moment you arrive to when you leave! Fantastic experience: I was nervous and a bit embarrassed to make a visit to be honest as I know it's been a long time since I last went to a dentist and have let things get a bit out of hand, but right from the start Dr. Saduera was so down to earth with things and had no judgements at all and I really felt like she wanted to actually help me get back to dental fitness and really cared, took the time to explain how to change lifestyle habits to help and I didn't feel like I was just being rushed in and out for the sake of it at all, absolute best experience and now I really feel a lot better about getting back on top of things and feel like I'm in the best hands now. Fantastic experience: I had a filling and I appreciated that Dr Poonam didn't pull my head around like other dentists I've had, which helped me relax.
