Fantastic experience: I along with my family have been attending Church St Dental Practice for many years and have seen many changes over those years. The staff here are always helpful and polite and the Dental Technicians/Practitioners are excellent in their field and I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Spent an hour receiving treatment today. Honestly I was not looking forward to it at all. However to my surprise I actually enjoyed parts of my visit. There was no pain and throughout I was told what was happening and thus felt involved in the treatment. The digital scanning of my mouth was particularly interesting and enabled me to understand both this treatment and future needs very clearly. My confidence in the skill and expertise of my dentist was both maintained and improved.

Fantastic experience: Went for a routine checkup and clean today with my 20 year old son who had an extraction (too much fizzy pop) we had an excellent experience from the minute we walked in. Professional greeting by the receptionists to seeing Dr Hussain for brilliant treatment and advice on dental care!

Negative experience: What I have been finding when is dentist? Is that you book? And they always talk about, they're going to do a clean, a deeper clean and always seemed to put it off to the next time and swamp the dentists, so you don't see the same one. And then their excuses to not do the clean that wasn't me who said that that was a different dentist i will probably have my feeling that I am booked in for and deep clean i will probably then consider going to a different dentist that are actually interested in cleaning ur teeth

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment this morning relating to implants but was also in pain with tooth ache since Saturday. I was given an emergency appointment for this while I was there and only had to wait a short while. I would strongly recommend this practice as the quality of their work is good, staff are friendly and the surgery is always clean and tidy.

Fantastic experience: Excellent and polite not to mention caring staff! Dentist Dr Gurpreet Sembi gave me the her full professional treatment I cannot thank her enough! Negative experience: I visited the dental practice after breaking one of my teeth and after a discussion with the dentist, Dr Patanwala we agreed that the broken tooth along with my two other remaining teeth would be all extracted at the same time. On the day of the planned extractions I was given anaesthesia but this didn't seem to have much effect as i needed several extra injections as I could still feel pain during the attempted extractions. Eventually after almost an hour in the chair Dr Patanwala had managed to extract just the broken tooth and at that point I called time on the appointment as I couldn't take anymore. She suggested that perhaps I had an infection even though there were no signs of that beforehand and prescribed antibiotics and then suggested that on my return I could try sedation. I left in pain and very unhappy with two partially damaged teeth due to the attempts to extract them unsuccesfully. The following week I went to another dental practice who managed to extract the two teeth in under 15 minutes, no infection found and no pain whatsoever. During my visit to this second practice my mouth felt totally numbed unlike during my visit with Dr Patanwala when I could still feel my gums and lips even after several injections.

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to have an appointment with Claire , in spite of the occasional discomfort/ sensitivity. Well worth it

Positive experience: There needs to be a step so the children can be seen by the staff working behind the counter! The clutter should be removed off the desk at the lower part of the desk so children can be seen. No crayons or pencils for any art work. Staff/ dentist was nice.

Fantastic experience: I had a hygienist appointment at church street dental practice with Claire… she is the most professional, knowledgeable and the most amazing hygienist I’ve ever had the pleasure to be seen by… it was my second visit n the progress that I’d made with my gum issues , was so positive due to the guidance n work carried out by Claire!!…. And just the way she encourages you and puts you at ease ensures you don’t want to let her down…she is personally vested in every patient!!!… my confidence is not great due to some of my gum issues… but the visits with Claire have changed me, and I feel happier n the confidence has returned … I’d never thought I’d say this.. but I’m looking forward to my next dentist appointment.!! The ladies on reception are also very welcoming and ensure you are seen promptly..

Positive experience: After being a patient at this dentist I was disappointed that now that I'm partially sighted thatthe dentist I'd been seeing since being at this practice could no longer see me as he worked upstairs but I no longer able to climb stairs it would of been better if they had a room downstairs that if patients can't get up stairs to their dentist their dentist can come down instead of having to change dentists that are already down stairs

Positive experience: Recently visited this practice on a number of occasions I found the dental staff very professional & thorough within their role I needn’t of worried about my extraction it was carried out with minimal fuss and I needn’t have worried Also after care was good to However I did find Reception staff to be quite stiff and unapproachable As this is your first impression of the practice A little training on customer service would work well A cheery smile on arrival costs nothing and would also help to put patients at ease & make for a pleasant experience overall .

Negative experience: Went in today after explain a filling has fell out. Only to have a quick tap of the tooth and told I need to book in for a check up, which is in August and then another appointment for the filling. Then wanted to charge me 45 quid.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous about my wisdom tooth extraction and was expecting the worst. But Dr Priyanka and nurse Amy were so comforting and reassuring they gave me all the information needed and helped calm me down. The extraction was literal minutes no pain at all no uncomfortableness and they checked to see if I was okay and not in pain during which was really appreciated. I really was panicking over nothing but having two lovely people taking care of you makes a big difference. Thank you so much to both of them for being so friendly and reassuring with me they did an amazing job and I won’t be as scared in the future if I need another tooth extraction.

Negative experience: Would never recommend Dr A PATANWALA. Everyone else is good but not her. I have very bad experience with her. I had a filling done and she did not do it properly. I came back home with terrible pain. I contacted them and I was given an emergency appointment. When I met her she didn’t even bother to have a look if the filling had come off or if any issue. She directed me to have strong antibiotics and later do a root canal or have it extracted. I had no choice and had to see another dentist and he fixed the problem for me. Will never go back to her even if she’s offering a free treatment - horrible dentist

Fantastic experience: Hi, I underwent teeth whitening as part of the practices Halloween give away with care provided from DR Hussain. He explained the process clearly, is very knowledgeable in all aspects and couldn’t do enough to make you feel comfortable in the chair. The support team and in particular Mel on reception was fantastic.

Negative experience: Got kicked off there surgery due to 2 missed appointments that couldn't be helped covid and a very sick family member, don't recommend if you are human and get sick elsewhere apart from your teeth. No compassion from receptionist spoke very sharp and frank!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional receptionist, promised to call me back, and she never did. I got kicked off out of their NHS list as Im sick and couldn't attend my appointment. They don't deal with people equally, ethnicity play a big role in the way they will deal with you in this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I was kicked out of my nhs dentist (like most people) with no warning and needed treatment for a dead tooth. I found church street dental practice online and they booked me in straight away as a private patient (excellent monthly payment plans). Dr Hussain was fantastic! He explained all my options in great detail and made sure I understood everything. I went for a root canal treatment and I was nervous at first but Dr Hussain and Nurse Emma were amazing! I did not feel a thing, they totally put me at ease and they clearly know what they are doing. They have done a fantastic job and i will definitely be having cosmetic treatments there too. The hygenist was also amazing! I was shocked at the result and will be booking to see him again too. I can honestly say this is the best dentist I have ever been to, they are true professionals and make going to the dentist a fearless and comfortable process (no joke). Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist. My children aged 3 and 4 usually never let dentist check their teeth. But the lady dentist my children saw made the children feel so at ease. Even though we was 5 minutes late they also made time to see them both. Will definitely be staying with this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sharma was fantastic, I went in for an emergency appointment as I'd been having a toothache for a few days, he was very gentle and identified the issue quickly. Great service from both Dr Sharma and receptionists.

Fantastic experience: Visited the surgery on Monday 8th July 24, for a regular appointment with the Hygienist. This surgery is above and beyond others I have been too. The staff are wonderful and would never hesitate recommending this Dental Practice.

Positive experience: Entrance door needs to be more disabled friendly as it’s hard to open door and then get in with mobility scooter. Reception staff very friendly and dentist explained everything what was going on and why they do certain checks 1st.

Fantastic experience: Visited the dental practice this morning for a repair on an old filling. Having felt apprehensive when I was younger at a previous surgery, Dr Hussain made me feel very relaxed and calm today. His anesthetic was smooth and the whole procedure was a pleasant one. The old filling had broken down from many years ago, causing tooth pain when eating. Having been replaced with a new filling the pain has now disappeared and very comfortable to eat once again. Cannot thank Dr Hussain at Church Street Dental Practice for his great work today.
