Fantastic experience: I am always very anxious about visits to the dentist. For a number of years, for this reason, I have put off having implants that have been advised. Recently, this was the only option and I agreed to having two implants. I was very worried about the procedures. Dr Hobson explained every step of the procedure in great detail and answered all my questions. With my confidence in Dr Hobbs and his great technical skill, I experienced less discomfort than you get with a routine filling. If I require further implants in the future, I would now approach them in a much more relaxed frame of mind than previously.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sam has been my dentist for a number of years. It is a surprising thing to say but it is a pleasure to visit the dentist. He is always very welcoming and creates a very calm atmosphere. His advice is very clear and he always discusses the options with their pros and cons. Needless to say his technical skills are exceptional. Recently one of my teeth went past the point of repair and an implant was decided on. Dr Sam does not undertake this procedure himself and he referred me to his colleague Dr Tom. Things were complicated by the large number of medications I am on. Dr Tom contacted my consultant and I had complete confidence in the plan proposed. The procedure was explained in detail. It was carried out with such skill that the greatest discomfort I had was my neck was a little uncomfortable from lying in one position for a long time. There was a phone call to check progress the next day and I am very happy with the implant. It is very reassuring to have access to such an excellent dental team. Negative experience: I had Invisalign and composite bonding with smile stylist. I will not be returning there for my next round of bonding. I had the Invisalign light which was c. 6 months and had 3+ different dentists over this time. I was always left waiting 30 mins or so for my appointments. Other than this, my Invisalign treatment was fine. My biggest disappointment was the composite bonding. Whilst i appreciated that they fit me in before my wedding, i was not happy with the results and the dentist refused to adjust them properly because he thought they were fine. This meant that i wasnt happy with my teeth for my wedding and honeymoon. It took me going back 3 times and fighting to get them the way i wanted. I also felt pressured to have 2 of my bottom teeth bonded even though I didn’t want them doing. One of these then broke off within 6 weeks and it was not explained to me that this was under warranty and could be replaced for free therefore i just got it removed and essentially wasted £250.

From the receptionists, to the hygienists and dentists themselves everyone makes you feel comfortable and cared for. Negative experience: Honestly everyone there is so friendly and respectful I really appreciate that HOWEVER I could tell they wanted to fish some money from me initially I came for a “free” scan for Invisalign but it wasn’t really for free because I need to book another appointment for another scan and xray which wasn’t a huge problem for me ig I didn’t mind that much I knew it was too good to be true anyways bur when I came for my second appointment the dentist did some xray but they said they didn’t have a Panoramic xray in this clinic so I need to book another appointment in another clinic and I need to pay for that appointment too so I paid 150£ for nothing because I need to pay for another xray anyways which was more important like they could’ve told me that they didn’t have that machine from the beginning panoramic xray is essential for braces/Invisalign so they should have the machine in that clinic but what was mostly frustrating is that I am out 150£ that I got nothing out of I was robbed so please be careful when going to this clinic they are friendly but they know how to take money from people I almost fell for it!!
