Fantastic experience: I recently had my wisdom tooth removed. The staff were all really friendly, professional and they made me feel at ease with their confidence and clear explanations. During the procedure, my dentist kept checking in on me to make sure I was okay, which I really appreciated. The reception team were also really helpful when I had to reschedule due to a family emergency. Overall, I felt very well cared for and would definitely recommend Brenchley Dental.

Fantastic experience: Booked emergency appointment as bridge had come out at weekend. Was easily booked. Receptionist most helpful as was delayed in getting there and missed my appointment. Dr. Cullen kindly still saw me and fixed bridge back quickly and with usual friendly manner. Both dentist and Brenchley Dental Practice absolutely first class. Many thanks indeed.

Fantastic experience: I broke one of my teeth. Called into the dentist and explained what had happened and was offered an appointment. Had a ten minute wait but it was worth it. The only thing I felt was the injection and after that it was painless. Can’t thank alex enough. I’ve got my regular check up in 2 months time. Where we will discuss about replacing the tooth.

Dan the dentist was so lovely and chatty, instantly put me at ease, and Layla the dental nurse was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I felt really well looked after from start to finish. Positive experience: I was seen by a dentist I’ve met once before. He was efficient and I believe thorough in his examination but seemed to be in a hurry both in the way he spoke to me and in the fact that he didn’t appear to have time to listen to what I wanted to say. It was a disappointing experience.

Fantastic experience: Extremely friendly, and always ready for a chat. Just went for a check up and were extremely thorough not just with my teeth but the structure of my jaw checking my bone density etc, checkng my mouth for any signs of cancer etc. Pleasant clean and modern surgery, good parking facilities. Highly recommended.

Quickly seen by Emma the hygienist - the best I have encountered in 69 years (oops there goes my age), we recommend her to everyone because people often hate going to the hygienist more than the dentist. A very thorough examination by Alex (!) good explanation of condition of teeth and gums. Oral cleaning and hygiene discussed.

Unfortunately it looks like funding cuts (as people that live in a rural area don't need an NHS dentist!) it looks like they are moving away from NHS

Fantastic experience: The team at Brenchley Dental are fantastic. During our time at the clinic my wife and I have had two dentists, both have been great, taking the time to talk through, in detail, any examination findings and associated treatment. My daughter is also a patient (NHS) of the clinic and the team have been just as good. They always arrange family appointments to make things easy and have been very flexible when we needed to rearrange at short notice. As far as value - dental treatment is, of course, expensive but Brenchley Dental appear to be competitively priced and have never tried a ‘hard sell’ for any service. The service and treatment is so good that the costs constitute good value for me.

Fantastic experience: As always a friendly team at Brenchley. My daughter sees Dr James Cullen. He is really good at making her experience at the dentist a relaxed, stress free time. He explains everything to her in a way she understands and puts her at ease. She always comes out laughing after seeing him. And for myself, after having a bad experience at another dentist, leaving me with high anxiety to go back to the dentist. I ended up joining the practice at Brenchley and now see Dr Hesham El-Wakeel, With his calming nature , along with his dental nurse, Beth. Hesh has put me at complete ease now. He explains what he is doing, always asks if I have any questions. Brenchley Dental Practice is second to none! A totally different experience from my original dental practice. Definitely worth the 50 minute drive to get there!

I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment, the receptionist was very pleasant and directed me to the waiting room. I was called to the treatment room spot on my appointment time, the dental nurse and Erik the dentist were both very friendly and professional.

Dan and Hesham are very thoughtful, caring and explained the problem fully and very importantly left me to make the final decision. The 1st appointment was an emergency appointment with Hesham and Inwas seen on the day I phoned and the follow up 3 days later was with Dan. She was so informative incredibly gentle and really gave me an understanding of my issues. Re booked to see the denitist next too follow up. Great practice and everyone seems so friendly

Negative experience: Was told needed a filling and pointed out a discolouring on my tooth which I’d had for years and previous dentist said no problem. They were rushing me into getting it done right away on my first appointment but refused as didn’t seem right. Just come back from a new dentist who did X-rays and said no issue there at all as suspected.

Positive experience: A busy local practice. Very difficult to get an appointment with a dentist or hygienist. Waiting list is months. I did manage to catch a cancellation so managed to get in quite quickly. Had to wait 25 minutes beyond my appointment time in the waiting room to be seen, with no apology or explanation. When I did get seen, the check up was very thorough and efficient and dentist was helpful.

I look forward to returning for some treatment soon. As I not a well individual, knowing there is a surgical dentist present at the practice gives me confidence that I will be looked after.

Positive experience: Always have a good trip to the dentist at Brenchley Dental Practice. They don’t do unnecessary work, always discuss options and listen to your concerns before coming to a joint conclusion on a treatment plan. Would only say my recent NHS visit was so quick - about two minutes in the chair, it took me by surprise. He felt under my chin, picked the gums a couple of times, checked my tongue maybe some dental work in future. I’m still paying, admittedly an NHS price, for a service but two minutes at £23 odd pounds is rather interesting. I would hate to pay his hourly rate!

Fantastic experience: A lovely team of caring people, receptionists, nurses & dentists. A very clean & homely surgery, I have never felt like just a number. NHS patients are treated the same as their private patients. I've used both at this practise & the attention to detail & advice has been the same. I only wish I could get my husband an NHS place here

Fantastic experience: My experience at the dental surgery is always friendly, going to the dentist is definitely not my favourite thing to do but at the surgery they are always friendly, cheerful and trying to put your mind at rest.

Fantastic experience: I am an older patient and recently had a problem with two much-filled broken teeth towards the front of my mouth, a rather worrying situation! David Bush of Brenchley Dental prepared my broken teeth for crowns, took impressions and fitted me with temporary crowns. A couple of weeks later when the newly made crowns arrived, he fitted them and at the same time replaced an old, dark, amalgam filling in a nearby tooth, giving me a completely white smile for the first time in many years! I havn't stopped smiling since. Thank you Brenchley Dental!

Fantastic experience: Brenchley dental practice have cured my fear of dentists. Patient , kind, explain what they are doing and check I've understood and am ok. I guess it's good old fashioned bedside manners but from reception staff , dentist and dental nurse. I came across them a few years ago when I desperately needed an appointment but my pre IOUs dentist couldn't fit me in, and I have stayed with them. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Awesome service and expertise! Dr Daniel Bateman and his team were friendly & efficient and Dr Bateman removed my wisdom tooth without causing me any pain! The injections were smooth and the tooth was removed quickly despite being at an awkward angle. My after care package was clear and helpful. I didn't have any pain with it after the anaesthetic wore off either! I would definitely recommend this dentist - kind, helpful and very good at what they do.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dental surgery. I was a very nervous patient at dental surgery and feel much better since going to Brenchley dental. Dan and the staff at Brenchley are so welcoming and put you at ease. The actual surgery has a warm welcoming feel to it. Very clear on pricing of any treatment. The prices are competitive and they also offer in house sedation which I had for implant.

Fantastic experience: Great Dentist, took his time and was very gentle. This Dentist listens to what you tell him and acts / treats accordingly. I can not recommend this practice high enough. A far cry from the old school Dentist of the 1970s.

Fantastic experience: Brenchley Dental have been my dental practice since I was 10 - firstly with my parents and siblings and now (at 45), my partner and children. Over the years I have been seen by a number of dentists, hygienists and dental nurses and without fail, they have all been fantastic! Highly professional, extremely diligent and always friendly. During Covid, I have felt safe and the practice has ensured they continue with excellent measures in place to protect both staff and patients. I cannot recommend Brenchley Dental highly enough.
