We are inundated with patients requesting NHS care. Missed appointments, or those cancelled at very short notice, deprive other patients of much-needed care—the care they deserve. Whilst we are sympathetic to individual circumstances, we must apply this policy fairly across all patients. As we are a very busy practice, we acknowledge that sometimes our reception team may come across as abrupt. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide, and we will be feeding this back to the team to help improve how we communicate under pressure. We also appreciate your kind comments about other members of our team and will ensure this is passed on. Lastly, regarding our review device, we can assure you that feedback is entirely voluntary. Many patients choose to leave honest comments, and we are grateful for every one—positive or negative—as they help us grow and improve.
