Fantastic experience: Heartfelt thanks to all the team at The Bristol Dental Practice. I've been attending for well over 10 years and just completed an implant process after valiant efforts to save a ancient overfilled molar. Huge thanks in particular to Joel and Jonny and all the nurses for making the 'tooth' journey comfortable and pain free. Back in the new year to have old fillings replaced ... just in case there are any horrors lurking beneath.

Fantastic experience: Simply put, the best experience every time. I have never in 25 years had a bad experience at Bristol Dental Practice. From being a teenager to now an adult, I am thrilled my children can be under the same wonderful team.

Fantastic experience: The service I’ve received, was as always excellent. I’ve been at the Practice now for over 20 years and I’ve always been very happy. I was greeted by friendly and polite staff on reception and made to feel relaxed and at ease. The Hygienist was friendly and informative and did a great job of cleaning my teeth and I was very impressed!. I also had a dental check up by Jane and as always she was great!. Very happy and will remain a loyal customer for years to come!!.

Dr Ali recommended a detailed course of treatment from the first appointment which helped me understand what I had to do to with all my teeth and gums. Fantastic experience: Having recently become a patient at Bristol dental practice I have been very impressed with the standard of care and the friendly atmosphere. My dentist Jane explains everything well which makes me feel at ease and takes great care to minimise any discomfort. Carina, my Hygienist, is very thorough and has inspired me to take proper care of my teeth for the first time in my life, my gum disease has all but gone. Also a special shout out for the receptionists who sort out everything to do with the admin with patience and a welcoming attitude..

Fantastic experience: Across the board the team are kind, helpful, communicative and highly professional. Advice seems to me to be realistic, tailored to each patient, with no hard sell of more expensive treatments that aren't really needed. My late mum was a patient here from when she moved to Bristol aged 89 until she was 96, and she had such a positive experience that I transferred my loyalities here too. I have absolute confidence in them, especially dentist Devin and Hygienist Gill. As an added bonus there are quirky and very informative educational videos running in the lovely airy waiting room, which I enjoy if I arrive early.

Fantastic experience: An excellent dental practice with a great team of dentists especially Dr Jane Ali and the Boss Jonathan both outstanding. Recently had two implants and a two crowns very happy with the results. The practice is the very best with a broad range of dental therapies available. I have been with them for more than 20years! The practice was very clean and the equipment was very high quality, one of the most high tech dentist appointments I've ever had.After my initial check up, the team we great to see if they could fit me in last minute to see the hygienist and they were able to due to a cancellation so this was really helpful. Great Dental practice, not cheap, but no dentist is.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience from the get go at the Bristol Dental Practice. The receptionist I spoke to Thursday before I booked was so empathetic , kind and the main reason I booked. I think it her name is Linda. Dentist I seen was Dr Devin Vaghela , hygienist I see a was Zack Caunt. They were all incredibly kind and understanding, taking the time to talk in depth about my teeth and gum problems. They were able to get me in quickly on the same day for a thorough hour-long hygiene appointment, which was a great relief. I felt well-cared for and valued as a patient. Last night was the first time in a while I was able to sleep , so a big Thankyou to you all. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for professional and compassionate dental care.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience - the hygienist and dentist (Dr James Boyd) take time to put you at ease, listen to any concerns and explain exactly what they are doing. The whole appointment process is focused on the needs of the client/patient and given enough time to ensure their service is excellent. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Had my initial consultation this morning with Dr Devin Vaghela, who was amazing and very professional. I appreciate him explaining to me the whole process and my plan moving forward. The receptionists were also incredibly welcoming!

Fantastic experience: I've been getting my dental care here for the past 6 years and have been thrilled with the care and service I've received.

Positive experience: The x-ray of the teeth is still like 100 years ago - with this big film, placed inside the mouth together with huge plastic holders. The time stopped in the x-ray - it didn't evolve at all. It's torture every time. I thought that Panoramic X-ray, which they've done in the first place, gonna be enough, but I was wrong. Panoramic X-ray is very comfortable, and I don't know why we should suffer from big films in our mouth. They have also 3D scan which shows teeth and nerves and also pain free, what I liked very much. The first visit was ok, but the doctor ignored to tell me anything about sensitivity of my gums, which was pointed in their questionary by me. I remembered this when I was outside already. I drink a lot of black tea and my teeth are a little bit yellow, but the doctor didn't tell me anything about whitening and what can be done at all to improve my smile. He did mention Hygienist - maybe this is the same here, I'm not sure. So it was the basic appointment without intention to involve me in anything else what could be done. He could ask at least do I want to know more, because I have no idea what can be done in my mouth and what new is going on in this business. Hm... People look nice there, everybody smile, but they don't trust you, cos for any appointment you have to pay a deposit, which you lose, I suppose, if something happens - I don't know, I couldn't find this info on the price page of their website.

The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always focused on finding the best solutions for their patients. Recently, I had two wisdom teeth removed. They could have easily suggested removing the third as well, but they honestly advised that it wasn’t necessary, demonstrating their integrity. The procedure itself was smooth and professionally handled. The team made me feel completely at ease, turning what I anticipated to be a nerve-wracking experience into a surprisingly pleasant one. They provided clear, detailed information throughout, and the skill and expertise of the surgeon contributed to a much faster recovery than I expected. I’m very grateful for their care and highly recommend them. If you are picking a practice in Bristol, give them a try.

Fantastic experience: Treated by Dr Kathryn French and Dr John Collin for my for wisdom tooth extraction - the experience was excellent with very effective conscious sedation and the procedure went very smoothly, with thorough explanation of aftercare. The nurses, Daisy and Becky, were brilliant and very reassuring. Mild pain for a few days after procedure was relieved by simple analgesia, with no complications. Positive experience: I saw Dr J Cockrane and was very impressed with his work.He repaired my front tooth and agreed an estimate for replacement implants with an estimate of £20,000 to £24000 but came in £25,000 which I was unable to accept It was unfortunate as I thought we had a dral going I suppose good dentists do come with a premium,

Fantastic experience: I have been with The Bristol Dental Practice for the past 3 years and they have always been honest, caring, understanding and professional. I have always been seen by Devan and he informs you of what to expect, by way of treatment and costings. The costs of the private dental treatment is a little more expensive then NHS. However, the treatment appears to be superior in both personal and material's used. If I was to recommend a dental practice then this would be the one. Fantastic experience: Was able to get an emergency appointment the same day. The dentists, Dr Ali, was very thorough and clear in explaining the options for treatment. we agreed on the least invasive approach and my teeth have responded very well. Thank you. As a follow up, following root canal treatment, Dr Ali prepared my teeth for a permanent crown. Dr Ali is very patient, precise and caring in her approach. She always explains every step of the procedure well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there was absolutely incredible. Went to get a fixed retainer wire fixed and the dentist could have been more thorough making sure it was comfortable and that there was no excess glue. 10/10 will be coming back here again.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to specifically mention the hygienist, Gill. Absolutely fantastic. I've had a few hygienists and she is by far, leaps and bounds ahead. Both results and professional demeanour, cannot fault whatsoever. I hope management see this, as a business owner myself, it's good to know which members of staff are assets to the practice. Would also like to speak highly of Jonathan and Rob who are both excellent dentists and sedation dentists respectively.

Fantastic experience: I had avoided going to the dentist after having a bad experience and chose Bristol Dental practise based on the amazing reviews and thought I would give it a try. I'm so grateful I did. This is easily the best dental experience I've ever had. Everyone is incredibly professional and has an excellent way of explaining things with great reassurance. I've had a number of procedures done and all were done with care and skill. I would recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Couldn't have asked for better service for getting a retainer made. This was my first time here. The staff from the receptionists to the dental nurses and the dentist were incredibly professional. I even got phone call reminders for my appointments. There was zero wait time for both of my appointments. I was highly impressed by the skill as well as the efficiency of how my retainer was made and then installed. The practice uses high tech equipment. Some backstory: I had previously asked two other dental practices to make a replacement retainer. One of them never got back to me despite me calling several times and being told they would get back in contact. Another told me it was their policy to never make a retainer if they did not do the original orthodontic work. However, the Bristol dental practice came to the rescue. It was easy to book an appointment over the phone and the service I received was exceptional. I felt as though I was in good hands and the end result was perfect. I highly recommend the Bristol dental practice.

Mariya and team have done an exceptional job upgrading my front tooth cap, and the reception team has been extremely helpful when there have been train delays and I needed to reschedule! Yes they're a little more expensive than some others, but I'm very glad I started going here.

Fantastic experience: As someone with dental anxiety I happily keep going back to this dental practice and not feel overwhelmed by the experience. Dr Cochrane has done two thorough examinations on my teeth, talking me through the xrays and photographs in a way that makes sense. He is very professional, clearly has experience with nervous patients, and didn’t get frustrated at my many questions. He was able to diagnose three of my teeth when another dentist from another practice ignored my complaints and ‘didn’t see anything wrong’ where there was clearly something going on. Unlike other dental practices I’ve visited, the dentists and reception staff here didn’t make me feel bad about the condition of my teeth and did nothing but reassure me and assign me a treatment plan that gives me hope. Fantastic experience: I recently completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Mariya Godsafe, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Godsafe is not only highly skilled but also attentive and thorough throughout the entire process. She made sure I was comfortable and well-informed at every step, and the transformation of my smile has been incredible. I highly recommend Dr. Godsafe to anyone considering Invisalign or any other dental treatment!

Fantastic experience: After losing a tooth at the start of the year, there was a visible gap left. BDP offered a number of suggestions and I chose to get an implant. It took just 3 sessions over about 4 months to prepare it, take impressions and fit the new tooth. I tend to get very worried whenever I get treatment but the doctor clearly explained every step of the way. And the new tooth fitted perfectly without any need for adjustment. Extremely pleased with the result, it looks just like a real tooth.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Dr. Jane Ali is brilliant in coping with my high gag reflex and explains carefully what needs to be done or can be safely left while keeping an eye on things. I've never felt that they're doing un-necessary procedures. The hygienist does a great job and is friendly and helpful even when remonstrating me about my inadequate brushing.

Fantastic experience: What a superb experience. I had a full teeth restoration. From start to finish the dentist was nothing but superb. The whole staff are excellent as well, they are always polite and obviously well trained. The whole practice from top to bottom is really well run. Fantastic experience: I got here after another dentist filed down(!?) my teeth, after a failed attempt to straighten them with “fast braces” (which are a total scam). I was feeling hopeless and extremely self conscious, but Mariya gave me back my smile! My experience was lovely from beginning to end (I did composite-bonding on my six front top teeth) and the result is just great! I couldn’t have asked for more! The prices here might be considered a little bit high, BUT! You get what you pay for! It’s 1000% worth it. I’m recommending this place to anyone and everyone! :)

Fantastic experience: Excellent service! I had been having difficulties with an existing major filling that needed to be changed to a crown. I had a filling on this tooth for quite a white and transitioning to a crown was giving me a lot of stress. I did a lot of research about the process online and it seemed a bit daunting. After reading good reviews about The Bristol Dental Practice, I decided to make an appointment online. I chose to see dentist Devin Vaghela. The process of booking an online appointment was extremely easy, and the team followed up with me along the way to check if the dates and times were still suitable for me. In fact, they even provided me with options of earlier times if they had new openings due to cancellations. This was very helpful. Devin was really amazing. His professional skill was really incredible and he guided me through a process of preparing me for the crown. This all worked out very well for me, and the new crown is very comfortable. The dental procedures were totally pain free. Beyond Devin's professional skill, he has a very kind and sincere personality, he is comforting and reassuring, which is very helpful during dental work, which can be stressful. I also saw Zack for a hygiene appointment. He was really great and provided me with lots of advice and care information. The assistants throughout the processes were all really supportive and kind. Fantastic experience: I visited Bristol Dental Practice today and I must say what an outstanding service. The service and treatments are really something else. I was seen by Dr Jane Ali and I felt so at ease and she took me step by step. I fully trust this dentist and I will continue my treatments with Bristol Dental Practice. The only thing for me is travelling and this will take me 45 minutes to get there but that’s nothing to compared to the service and care you will receive. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: I can’t express how thankful I am for the Bristol Dental Practice and particularly for Mariya. She is truly THE best dentist in Bristol. I came to the dentist having not been for a very long time (and after traumatic previous hygienist experiences!), my teeth had moved a lot and I wanted a lot of cosmetic work to feel comfortable and confident. Dr Mariya is so patient, calm, kind and she is incredibly thorough and you can see she is a perfectionist and wants the best for your smile and dental health as a patient. She talked me through everything, changed anything cosmetically that I wanted changed, and worked with me to get my teeth to the best possible level. She ensured that my teeth didn’t look fake and we maintained my natural teeth, just enhancing them and trying to correct the bite as much as possible. I even convinced my mum to go with her who is terrified of the dentist and she is working through that fear with Mariya. Everyone in the practice including the receptionists and hygienists are so friendly, welcoming and patient. The receptionists always worked hard to get me in and both them and Mariya made sure we got all of my treatment done in a certain time frame for a wedding. I have never had so many compliments, and can finally look in the mirror and feel a little less rubbish, and that is life changing. I will recommend them to anyone! Thank you x

Fantastic experience: . I have been with is practice for 55 years and have always had a friendly and warm welcome from the reception staff. The Hygienists are practical and kind and dental treatment has always been extremely good. Absolutely no criticism - only praise for the high standard of kindness and attention.

Fantastic experience: I visited this practice 4 years ago. While I was very satisfied at the time, I am returning to write this review after it has become apparent just how good this practice was, after attending several other reputed dental practices in the UK, mostly in London. While many practices will treat the initial consultation as a cursory way to charge in exess of £130 for a 15 minute check, the one I received from the Bristol Dental Practice was very comprehensive, the dentist and his assistent were professional and organised, and it included scans from modern radiograph and x-ray devices (which many other practices still don't have or charge extra for). It cost £95 at the time. Under the steady hand of Dr Cochrane I received the best dental care I've had to date; including a tricky anterior composite filling and some other procedures. If you're in the Bristol area (or even some way outside the Bristol area), and assuming it hasn't changed too much in the intervening time, I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Fantastic experience: Very nice clean clinic and the reception staff was professional helpful and friendly. I visited Dr. Devin Vaghela who is clearly an excellent expert and I couldn’t ask for better I also did hygiene and it was amazing job I wish all of them the best.

Negative experience: I called today to schedule fillings and mentioned that I have x-rays from a different practice taken last week. I was quoted £125 for an initial examination, which includes x-rays. Given that I already have the x-rays, I inquired about a reduction in the fee. Unfortunately, I was informed that this was not possible. The lack of flexibility in this matter is not something I would expect from a family practice.

Fantastic experience: I have just come to the end of a tailored treatment plan and throughout every stage, I have been afforded superb care and attention by so many, including the reception team, the hygienists, Rebecca Hawkings who helped coordinate my plan, Dr Jonathan Cochrane who designed my treatment plan and Dr Godsafe. Being an exceptionally nervous patient, I was so grateful for the extra time and patience given to me to ease my anxieties and a big shout out therefore to Dr Endicott and Dr Isaac who kindly executed their sedation skills so that with some of my treatments, I didn't feel a single thing! A welcoming, friendly and highly professional practice, that I would highly recommend to anyone who prioritises their oral health.

Fantastic experience: I get very anxious about dental work. Almost to the point of having a phobia. I have to say that Dr Devin Vaghela and his assistant. carried out recent work on a back molar efficiently, patiently and with much empathy. I wholeheartedly recommend.

Honest, friendly, professional and efficient. The whole team there are lovely, Courtney is a great dental nurse and particularly impressed with Bianca on reception too. Really friendly and reliable dental practice, would 100% recommend. I have just returned to Bristol Dental practice for a check-up (May 2024). Once again Mariya was excellent. For the first time ever at a dentist I feel I am not being pushed into a decision, and they are not just "up-selling" their services. They are just honest and professional. I had a hygienist appointment with Karina and Regina booked as well, they are also really friendly, welcoming and professional. Fantastic experience: I was in so much pain with an impacted wisdom tooth which was also infected . It was such a a relief to be seen so swiftly and have the tooth extracted .it’s all healed well and I am so happy with the excellent treatment I received from all the staff .

Fantastic experience: I have had a consistently positive experience, from warm, friendly and efficient reception staff to incredibly skilled hygienist and dental treatments - just fantastic! I am a VERY nervous patient who has avoided visiting a dentist unless essential. When unable to find an NHS dentist I came across The BDP having made a number of phone calls when I had hit a dental crisis point - the helpfulness and understanding shown by their reception staff made me choose this practice. I have completed quite extensive treatment over the past 18 months and regularly see the hygienist - who is so good! Each time I visit I feel less anxious and while I wouldn’t say I look forward to going(!) I no longer dread going to the dentist - this is a huge turnaround for me having had some quite traumatic dental experiences as a child (40 years ago) which plagued me until I started going here. Everything is done at a gentle pace with excellent communication and full explanation. I have no hesitation in recommending The BDP - great staff, very skilled, reassuring and supportive. I have gone from borderline phobic to feeling safe in their hands: this has transformed my experience of dentistry!

Fantastic experience: I have been to the Bristol Dental Practice on a number of occasions seeing different practitioners. The whole team are just so friendly and welcoming and rarely at a dentist have I felt so relaxed. All the procedures are very well explained, I feel very comfortable and relaxed. They are a great team from the lovely staff on the front desk to the dental nurses and dental practitioners.

Fantastic experience: Every thing went effortlessly, from phoning up to see if I could see a dentist,to receiving a phone call from Helen on reception shortly afterwards to tell me they had a dentist free to see me. The appointment with the dentist was thorough, told I needed treatment. Had a tooth extracted the abscess cleaned in a very short time . Everything was explained before the dentist went to work. Fantastic experience: I had wisdom tooth removal performed here due to a long waiting list for the NHS dental hospital in October 2023 by Dr Cochrane. All 4 were required for removal and before I booked the appointment I had an assessment and 3d xray to show what my options would be. I felt like I was informed thoroughly throughout. In the end I decided with one appointment to remove all 4 with sedation. I will say the appointment was very expensive but this was due to the sedation cost. For something as invasive as this I would recommend the sedation for putting you at ease (my wisdom teeth were ALL unerupted). The person who performed the sedation was very comforting and professional. Dr Cochrane and his assistant were great and I felt very looked after by everyone. I had to return a second time as my stitches did not dissolve as expected but I was seen very quickly. I would recommend this practice in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: Just excellent. Everyone is so friendly and have time to listen to me, sorting out any worries or queries. Gill was excellent hygienist, very caring and informative. Going the extra mile is what you pay for and couldn't recommend enough the Bristol Dental Practice. Wish I had joined them sooner.

Fantastic experience: Due to bad experiences at the dentist as a child (had a filling done without anesthetic) I've long had a fear of dentist appointments, so much so that I hadn't visited one in over 6 years. Over that time my teeth had gotten in quite a bad condition and I finally budged and went to the Bristol Dental Practice. The team were very friendly and polite, I felt completely at ease from the moment I walked in, they took several scans, talked me through everything, I was scheduled-in for a hygienist appointment the following week. My teeth needed a very, very thorough clean--so much so that the appointment was an hour long! It was admittedly very scary for me at first but they were very patient with me and gave me regular breaks. When they finished I was absolutely amazed, I could actually feel the shape of each individual tooth again rather (my teeth were absolutely caked in plaque and tartar), they did a brilliant job and I no longer have any apprehension about dentist visits! Naturally a little more expensive but well, well worth it!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at Bristol Dental Practice! Front end staff were friendly, quick to support, hygienists were friendly and very efficient, and James (dentist) was very friendly and helpful in explaining my care. Would definitely recommend!
