Solanki Dental Practice

Negative experience: This dental practice is completely unprofessional and unsafe. The staff were rude, dismissive, and failed to provide even basic standards of care. After the procedure, I suffered a severe headache and my tooth pain became significantly worse. When I asked for my tooth to be filled, the dentist reacted aggressively, told me to leave the room immediately, and threatened to call the police. I was treated with intimidation instead of care. This was an extremely distressing and humiliating experience and the worst dental visit of my life. I strongly advise others to avoid this practice.

Negative experience: Didn't tell me there's an income threshold I didn't meet because the scum at the NHS BSA doesn't want them to tell you so they can shake people down for penalties. Didn't show me the forms I was signing, didn't tell me I wasn't entitled to free care even though they looked me up and told me it was fine. Now I'm gonna be out up to £500 for dental work (a night guard, not actual problem fixing) I didn't need but they up-sold me on BC I thought it was free. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: So helpful staff esp lady named Negma who explained about the universal credit assessment eligibility something even jobcentre staff could not even explain clearly. Also all the dentist are so caring and donor treat you like a patient on a conveyor belt. They care for you. This is one of the only dentist practice that my grown up children pay privatly for this dentist and say they are brilliant. Thankyou

Its a shame that because of the cutbacks with regards to NHS patients at the Practice, I may not see you again, but either way, it was nice to finish on this high.

Negative experience: I am extremely disgusted by the dentist I seen today 2nd April Mr Solanki I came in as a new patient as the last time I was seen by a dentist was in 2024 for a check up not a treatment the last treatment was in 2022 for a filling, whilst I was trying to explain myself to Mr Solanki he was getting extremely inpatient and start saying we can't see you here your trying to get free treatment because your previous dentist will not see you I explained I left due to personal reasons and I have not come here for a treatment I came to get a check up as I've not been seen by a dentist for a year he was extremely rude left me feeling very emotional I don't recommend this practice with such unprofessional individual I myself work in the medical field this is just not acceptable.

This was my second time coming in to this dental practise, and both times these girls took care of me and I left happier and with healthier teeth. Im so glad I switched over to this dentist, they are very professional and helped me calm any nerves I had. I will definitely be recommending this dentist to my friends and family. Negative experience: Dentist cancels appointments for no reason other then they've met their quota for appointments for the year so they cancel your appointments that you have already booked and make you reschedule in the next year ( which they count after april) this procedure that they put in place wastes peoples time and should be amended so they don't allow you to book the appointments in the first place instead of booking them , you taking days of and then canceling them for no other reason except that they've met their appointment quota . This should be told when booking appointments, I understand rescheduling for a few days later maybe but not rescheduling for months later, major inconvenience that they can easily solve by putting a software in place that denies them booking after a certain amount of appointments. I've not given them 1 star bcs sometimes they are ok but not this time, when I spoke to the receptionist (who told me this information) she was not very clear, I rescheduled the appointments and let the receptionist know I'd like to book a complaint after I've done the appointments but she hung up as soon as we rescheduled. This is why I have left this review.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service dr solanki was really good explained everything to me and was very reassuring. The staff were really friendly and welcoming as it was my first time. I had an x ray and was told there was small hole, that needed filling. I wasnt given another appointment to come back, it was done on the same day and i am thankful. I will be seen again in 4months. Was shown my xrays and everything was explained throughly. Thank you to everyone at Dr solanki. Fantastic experience: Massive thank you to the whole team, every visit I am so grateful for how they go above and beyond to make sure my disability is catered for. Despite how busy they constantly are, the reception team make me feel heard and take the time to deal with queries timely and efficiently. Huge thank you to Maz who was a superstar arranging for me to be seen downstairs rather than up. To Negama and Sumaiya for being so warm and welcoming, and not just to mr, but either every patient. The reception team even knew patients by name and greeted them upon entry to the practice, that is so impressive given how many patients are seen on a daily basis. Also thank you to Dr Afzal and Nurse Hafsa for seeing me downstairs and accommodating for my bad leg. I was really anxious but you both made my daughters first trip to the dentist a positive one! Hafsa even held my baby whilst Dr Afzal saw me, which was so helpful and kind, not many people would offer so I really appreciated that. The whole team is fantastic and every trip to this dental practice is a pleasant one, which makes a nice change for me. Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: I have been with this practice over 20 years Mr Solanki is a great man, Maz the receptionist and negs are very helpful and always happy to help explaining things for me to understand and very welcoming when I come to the dental practice. Fantastic experience: All the staff were very welcoming and positive, especially the two receptionists, Mazz and Nagema. Dr K. Solanki alongside the another staff member who I didn’t quite catch the name off helped me feel a lot more comfortable during my visit. Overall meeting the staff helped with reducing my anxiety levels significantly :)
