Fantastic experience: Always an ease and pleasure taking my son to Dr Mistry or any other dentist I've dealt with previously even for myself! We got lucky with 2 BIG stickers this time round on my 4 year old son's visit which the nurse Poppy kindly went to another room to especially get! They have brilliant sticker collections from Dora the Explorer, Peppa Pig and Batman, might have been Spiderman too! This was to make my son comfortable and at ease as he panicked and started crying when he saw the probe. Obviously the stickers were a great to ensure my son continued cleaning his teeth twice a day, used the tongue scraper and gargled for his good oral hygiene routine! Thankful for everyone at this practice for their fantastic service! ✅❤️

Negative experience: The reception staff never answer the call.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed... had called surgery and asked how much a scale and polish would cost, the receptionist booked me in, took my details and was pleasantly surprised as how quick the register and booking went. Once again I double checked that was the price was for a scale and polish and she replied yes. Please go to your recordings. Once I got there the dentist Dr A.H then said scale and polish is not included yet i was clear i wanted a scale and polish when booking!!! The dentist then said if i paid 65 pounds extra she would do it privately. I think the whole booking was promoting her private practice and I paid out of my pocket for her to tell me this!!! If this booking was done correctly I would have booked and paid for what I wanted instead of wasting my time and money as I had to take time off work to attend the appointment. The dentist then went on to check my teeth for a minute and said there is no holes... which I know is not correct as I have been to another dentist and I do have a few...very dangerous practice.

Positive experience: Dental care is great! But your signs and text messages are littered with shouty capitals and multiple exclamation marks. You might get more compliance with a simple please and thank you, not, "NO FORM, NO APPOINTMENT"

Fantastic experience: Myself suffers with severe anxiety. I cancelled my last appointment because of this. Today made a brave move and went to have my teeth deep cleaned. I was made to feel so welcome by the absolute lovely receptionist. This did not go unnoticed as I did comment to her whilst I waited. When into the room and sat on the chair. They went through what they were going to do and all over in 20 mins. Made me feel so secure and safe. Thank all so much

Fantastic experience: Brilliant service from total dental care at new parks the receptionist as a lovely personality and engages with you mr.mistry puts you at ease straight away and talks you through your treatment which makes you more at ease I’ve been going to this dentist for a number of years now and have always found it to be first class and i would recommend this practice to anyone especially those that have reservations about dentists

Negative experience: I contacted the Netherhall practice and was greeted by a courteous receptionist who regretfully informed me that they are not currently accepting new NHS patients. However, she kindly provided me with the contact details for their Aikman Road practice. Upon reaching out to register, I was promptly offered an appointment slot for April 19, 2019. Upon confirming the appointment with receptionist Cynthia, I expressed the need to check my schedule before finalizing the booking. However, despite my polite request, Cynthia displayed unprofessional conduct by raising her voice and insisting on my date of birth. In an attempt to maintain professionalism, I reiterated my intention to confirm after consulting my diary, at which point the call was abruptly terminated by Cynthia. This encounter left me deeply disappointed with the level of patient service provided, as Cynthia's demeanor fell short of the expected standards of patient care. It is evident that there is a need for further training in interpersonal skills and customer relations for staff members such as Cynthia. Following this disheartening experience, I attempted to escalate the matter by requesting to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, my efforts were met with further frustration as Cynthia disconnected the call once again. Regrettably, the practice's website lacks a centralized complaints procedure, leaving me with limited avenues for addressing this issue formally. This absence of a structured feedback mechanism detracts from the overall patient experience and prevents constructive dialogue for improvement within the practice. In conclusion, while the initial interaction with the receptionist at Netherhall practice was amicable, the subsequent encounter with Cynthia at the Aikman Road practice was marred by unprofessional behavior and a lack of effective communication. It is my hope that this feedback will prompt the necessary measures to enhance the quality of service provided by the practice

Negative experience: Review for Total Dental Care: (Disclaimer: There have been efforts and steps taken to resolve the issue.) I recently had a very distressing experience at Total Dental Care that I feel compelled to share. This review reflects both a specific incident involving a family member and ongoing concerns with the practice, particularly relating to issues with the customer care. Our appointment began with confusion, as the dentist initially stated a medical instrument tray was not required until a nurse decided against this and brought one in anyway. This raises concerns with communication and the chemistry between dentist and nurse. The dentist then warned us about an issue with the suction instrument, asking to be informed if it became too uncomfortable, which raised concerns about the equipment's functionality and therefore overall quality of care. Our nurse accidentally jabbed my family member's tongue with a cleaning instrument, causing bleeding and significant distress. Post-Appointment Experience: (The reasoning behind this was because we had a complaint in progress, I was later told). Following the appointment, we attempted to discuss our concerns, particularly the injury. However, the receptionist was (in my perception) dismissive and refused to provide information or engage in a conversation about the incident. Her attitude was not only unhelpful but also rude. She even refused to tell us something as simple as telling us what medical equipment was used in the session! Additionally, the receptionist displayed unprofessional behavior towards other customers in the waiting area, who were calm and not agitating. This behavior was noted by several other customers as well, who convened with us outside about their similar dissatisfaction. I am sharing this review to inform potential patients of our experience. Professionalism, empathy, and clear communication are critical in healthcare settings, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

Negative experience: Tried to pull my 7 year old tooth out with a abscess she's not even had antibiotics yet fgs she would have felt it all and I'm speaking from previous experience! Also a few years ago my eldest daughter was getting a tooth out she put her hand up to stop which he didn't and she literally had to grab his hand to stop him it's a joke!!! I wouldn't have even given them 1 star but I had to to post

Fantastic experience: I rang on Monday as an emergency, luckily I got an appointment for Tuesday My tooth was loose, and Mr Mistry took it out for me, after already taking an impression with another tooth on a plate. I was delighted with the result, tooth came out easily, Mr Mistry is very kind, and Poppy was lovely too. Everyone at the New Parks Surgery is very kind, the receptionists are so understanding.

Fantastic experience: As a nervous person visited total dental care a year ago Dr Gill was very patient with me took some xrays and impressions and managed to temporary fix them yesterday was booked into have teeth removed and dentures in was very scared he put me at ease talked me threw what he was doing and within mins my dentures we in I cant thank total dental care enough gave me back my smile thank you do gill and thank you for being so understanding

Positive experience: it's a good dentist only complaint really is that my 16 year old daughter has been waiting over 3 years since being referred for orthodontics and still heard nothing from the practice or the referred place about it. I know NHS is slow but people shouldn't have to wait this long for treaent

Fantastic experience: Total Dental Care got me in straight away as an emergency even though I am not a registered patient with them. Dr. H took great care to determine what the issue was and shared helpful advice. Both Dr. H and nurse Idris were warm and friendly which put me at ease because I often feel anxious at the dentist. Fantastic service and I really appreciate their efforts to see me so quickly.

Fantastic experience: Visited the dentist today, I’ve always been quite anxious about going but my experience was amazing! Everyone in the practice was very welcoming from receptionist to dental nurses to the dentist himself. Jas is a great dentist and Shakifa made me feel really welcome. Fantastic experience: No mean feat for the dentist team to extract 4 teeth in 2 weeks off a child who dreads needles! Absolutely satisfied at the hands of Dr J Gill and his friendly assistant in ‘clearing the ground’ for braces. A consent hurdle threw a spanner in the works before the procedure but was ably handled by the resourceful receptionist :) Hopefully, the braces journey too is only onwards and upwards. Thank you!
