Fantastic experience: Reception staff very friendly as always. Didn't see my regular dentist due to her being on annual leave, but her replacement was lovely. He explained everything that was wrong with my tooth, what he was doing, why he was doing it and what the outcome could be for my tooth. I'm a nervous patient and he really made me feel at ease. Highly recommend this practice

Fantastic experience: Had a checkup with Jon Coventry today. I'm generally a nervous patient when it comes to dental, but Jon was absolutely brilliant! He explained everything he was doing, and that was very reassuring for me, I've never had that before from a dentist. Genuinely felt a bit mkre personal and the reassurance from his personality was absolutely brilliant. Jon, thank you very much :)

Fantastic experience: I was too upset as my dental issues was so intense, I waited too long for having the appointment via 111 and I was not able to tolerate the pain, but the doctor and nurse were so supportive and positive. I am very grateful that I came there.

Fantastic experience: Good appointment with Jonathan Chu. He did a thorough examination. X-rayed my back teeth and identified a wobbly tooth that has no root and that there is no bone for it to anchor to (a legacy from biphosphonates following cancer treatment). A treatment plan is in place and a follow up appointment 3 months following treatment. First class!

Fantastic experience: As somebody who gets severe anxiety from going to the dentist I was petrified walking in today. However the dentist who saw me Mr Coventry was amazing and explained everything every step of the way. He was understanding about my anxiety and consistently checked I was doing ok throughout. This helped massively and made my experience much better. Definitely feel better about going back.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday's appointment was for John Hurst (my husband) Amy Greenwood extracted one if his back teeth, she was very professional, kind and considerate and reassured my husband that if he experienced any problems to contact her immediately. I hasten to add he has not experienced any complications and would like to thank Amy for her care. 25.07.22 Once again Amy Greenwood treated my husband John and he would like to thank her for her excellent care when explaining all the procedures and treatment which was very successful. John is very appreciative and glad that Amy is his dentist, thank you. 26.07.22 I have this last week had 2 emergency appointments, the reception staff were excellent and arranged for me to see my dentist, Richard Parker, within hours of my requests, thank you, Richard was wonderful and explained service and treatment, relieved me of my awful pain and saved 2 teeth for me, I'm so grateful and appreciative to have such a professional and caring dentist, and his assistant was very reassuring thank you. All the staff at the practice are lovely. Friday 2nd May 2025 On my recent visit to Ravat Ray dentist practice I was seen by Tuisi Verma. She was excellent, professional and very caring, she sorted out my problem immediately, and saved a tooth from extraction for which I'm very grateful, her assistant was very reassuring my thanks to both. All the staff at the practice are polite and helpful.

Fantastic experience: My first appointment with my new dentist.. extremely happy with how I was treated.. no complaints what-so-ever..

Negative experience: Went here for an emergency appointment to get my wisdom tooth removed. Unable to remove it and left me in pain with a little bit of my tooth left after trying to pull out my tooth with what looked like pliers and it was just breaking my tooth further. Left a pieces of broken tooth in my mouth and bits were left on my clothes when I left. No aftercare advice, didn’t talk through the process at all. Told them I was nervous and anxious and they couldn’t care less. Left here worse off than when I went in. Absolutely horrendous experience and in pain.

Positive experience: I have been coming to this dentist for at least 5 years from the dentists to receptionists are all very caring people very professional and helpful !!I would not go anywhere else I thank them sincerely!!

Negative experience: Absolutely awful treatment from start to finish, dentist spoke to me so rudely and down to me, made me feel so embarrassed an left me unable to close my mouth properly because the filling was rushed and too thick, asked to speak to the manager but she was busy an never got back in touch, I got told they wouldnt rectify my filling because it was an emergency appointment and don't have to offer me another so they have left me unable to eat properly or close my mouth!!

Negative experience: I am trying to make an appointment for dental treatment but nobody answers the phones I have tried for several days now to no avail tried making an appointment online but no dates available unless I went private asked for a call back but nobody contacts me I once stood by the entrance to the practice and made a call and both receptionists just sat there chatting while I was trying to make an appointment absolutely terrible

Negative experience: Tulsi Verma was very quick seemed reluctant to do a deeper inspection of my filling. Taped a few teeth 5mins, no scrape or polish despite this being in band 1 nhs. Referred to hygiene appointment but could have removed Tatar and a quick 5min polish. Definitely felt lower care nhs patients. Previously did clean and maybe got her on a bad day. I was informed my son was also sent home with a cracked tooth and has to wait for infection or severe pain before they do something. So very disappointed

However since a dentist change to Jon Coventry my experience has changed totally. He provides brilliant explanation and actually has human conversation and discussion. If it wasn’t for Jon I would have put off treatment much longer.

Suggested long term solutions discussed in detail and cost implications to allow me to decide the best course of action for future. Fantastic experience: Went in today after breaking one of my back teeth and the staff was lovely and friendly and were very pleasant to deal with. I had to have tooth pulled and dentist called Jon was amazing he kept me calm and made sure I was comfortable and looked after and made a quick job of pulling my bad tooth. Would be very happy to go back.
