Quality Dental: Shoreham-by-Sea

Negative experience: Receptionists have always been kind but the dentists are so rude. I've been in recently for 2 treatments first time I belive they haven't done the filling right as super sensitive with pain eating. I have bad gums so it might be that. So I went back again for the next filling and my tooth has shattered 2 days after.

Fantastic experience: Amazing - I have been with this practice for a number of years now, my dentist is calm, gentle and talks me through everything. I have never been comfortable seeing dentists and have had some issues with some in the past, but this practice make everything so simple. If you ever need work done, or even a check up, i can thoroughly recommend this practice

I cant praise him enough, he really puts you at ease by explaining everything that he is going to do in detail and doesnt rush at all. He made what, in my mind, would be a stressful ordeal into a calm and stress free procedure. thank you!

Fantastic experience: From the first consultation appointment through to the end of the treatment plan I have nothing but good to say about Quality Dental. My doctor, Rajan, put me immediately at ease and fully explained all options once assessing my teeth. Throughout every proceedure I was made to feel comfortable asking questions as we went along and everything was explained in advance of treatment. The assistants and reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful too, in fact I have to say the whole operation was extremely professional. Unusual to hear about a dentists but I enjoyed the whole experience. Would definitely recommend. Very happy.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with Dr Rajan Sethi on Thursday 26th June and as always was called in on time. I really like the way Raj explains everything he's going to do and once completed talks you though what he found and what we need to do, thankfully, nothing needed this time! I then went in to the hygienist Vishrut Kumar to have my teeth cleaned, this guy is excellent, explained exactly what he's going to do is very gentle and allows you time to breathe if you know what I mean? Overall, I've been coming to his dentist for the last 8 years and have been extremely happy with the service they have provided.

Fantastic experience: Second time here and I still cannot recommend it highly enough. Very friendly reception staff and my Dentist , Kai Li Lim was amazing. I was worried about having to have a different dentist, but I needn’t have. She was so friendly, kind and knowledgeable, she took time to explain everything and answer questions. A great dentist and a really lovely person.

Fantastic experience: I have changed this review on the basis of my last visit. I now have a very good dentist who I trust to do a good job. The reception staff have improved too. You can now fill in all details online prior to your visit which is also helpful. All in all I would say this is a good practice. Update: The reception staff are now lovely, so welcoming!

Fantastic experience: I recently came to this dentist surgery. They was very polite and understanding on my situation regarding my old surgery. I came in with chronic toothache and they happily sorted me out. The staff was incredible, they was very polite and hard working. I’d definitely recommend this place I’m hoping to have this place as my dentist surgery full time as they understand my anxiety problems unlike my previous dentist surgery

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined this dental practice as a patient and had my first NHS appointment for a dental check-up. The dentist I was assigned gave my teeth a very thorough inspection, doing far more than my previous dentist, who hardly examined my teeth at all. Kai Li Lim was very efficient and explained everything that she was doing and gave very clear explanations when she showed me the X-Rays.afterwards, explaining and giving me advice about the sort of treatment that was required. She was very friendly, welcoming and efficient and I actually enjoyed my visit to the dentist!

I could not recommend Balawal highly enough, after years of fear and anxiety he was an absolute star this week, completely putting me at ease and sensing how nervous I was he took the utmost care of me. I left another local practice after 2 emergency appointments that seemed hell-bent on selling me products and making money with very little concern for my excruciating pain and discomfort. They also gave us excellent advice on how best to look after them. Fantastic experience: I was referred to this practice for 2 difficult root canal treatments with specialist Endodontist Michail Vakali. I couldn’t fault his treatment and kind manner and he has solved a long-standing problem that other dentists couldn’t. All of the staff are very friendly too

Talked me through the photo & explained what needed to be done. The staff with him were also very caring, escorting me downstairs when I was bit unsteady after being tilted back for the time necessary to repair the tooth

Dr Gujral is a brilliant dentist and is always open and honest with me about my teeth and my options. I hope to remain under her care for sometime.

Positive experience: My first visit here,and I was impressed. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, Dentist Dr Ma was lovely and explained what she was doing at every stage,her assistant was friendly too. I was surprised that after my check up and then telling me what I needed doing, it was done there and then! Opening till late in evening is great too for those that work. Only downside is obviously the cost, but we have had to get used to that with no NHS dentists these days, and having to wait till next year to see hygienist. But a very nice practice all in all.

Positive experience: I broke part of my tooth, I managed to get an appointment within a few hours with my usual dentist .Christine which was brilliant. She put in a temporary filling and I will be returning in a few weeks for the permanent one. . The only thing I wasn't happy with was the price over £300 for one filling. People are neglecting their dental care because they can't afford it. Something needs to be done about this or they will go abroad for their treatment.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant dentists! My last visit which was on 4/10/24 I had such a lovely dentist. He was really kind and put my mind at ease. Me and my children attend regularly and we’ve always had great experiences.

Fantastic experience: Another really good visit to Quality Dental. The whole staff are friendly, professional and caring. My dentist Balawal is very hot on prevention and in how to manage my dental health. He is also very reassuring with a nervous patient (me) and my young grandchildren. He will always take as much time as is needed to make sure you’re satisfied and understand everything about treatment. My hygienist Vish is very caring and gentle . He judges what the best techniques are for your situation and makes sure you are as comfortable as possible. I’m really pleased I found this practice!

Positive experience: The check up I received was excellent. I was seen on time and the dentist that treated me was first class. The check up identified that two old fillings need to be replaced. What is disappointing is that I cannot have white fillings as a National Health patient. Only metal fillings are available. To have white fillings I need to-be treated as a private patient with the corresponding extra cost.

Positive experience: Receptionist polite, checked existing details and asked if I paid for treatments. Dentist took 5 minutes to confirm the patient follow up did not show much improvement and was told I should book a Hygienist, or private dentist and that the costs would be from about £70 to £400. I agreed to book hygienist and left. At reception, I was asked to book for next consultation. When I mentioned that it had only been 3 months and this was a follow up, booking was for January 25. Tried to book hygienist but left as no acceptable times available. Five minutes after leaving, receptionist informed me I had to pay for the session (the 5 minutes I understood was a follow up to the check up). It felt as if they were trying to maximise their income.

Fantastic experience: Dr Krishma has treat me for many years with the upmost care. She is very understanding of all the issues and concerns I have with regards to my dental treatments and hygiene. She is very thorough and informative, provide high quality advice and treatments. I am able always able to understand and can make decisions based on her guidance. A very trusted dentist. All of the other staff at Quality Dental are very friendly and professional. Highly recommend Dr Krishma as the go to dentist. Thank you Dr Krishma.
