Fantastic experience: Just finished my 3 and a half year journey of braces with Arun. What a talented man! My teeth were insanely crooked and now I can’t quite believe how beautiful and straight they are. As much as I dislike going to the dentist, Arun made me feel as ease, he was patient and always explained every step. He is so knowledgeable! Everyone at Woodford Dental Care is so friendly and welcoming, not to mention the style and decor is elegant and calming. I would recommend anyone to chose this surgery and chose Arun for their orthodontic treatment. :)

Fantastic experience: Before I begin I feel compelled to identify myself as a very nervous, and elderly dental patient. Due to a pre-existing medical condition, I was in crisis when I was referred to Dr Patel. However, he explained, in thorough detail, how he would rectify, what I considered to be, a very complex dental crisis. Without any fuss, Dr Patel and Monica the nurse, proceeded to do just that! In the following weeks, I received frequent telephone calls from Monica regarding my recovery. I will forever be grateful for their professionalism and care.

Fantastic experience: Such a Worthwhile Experience! I went to the dentist today for a white filling on my front tooth, and honestly — it was so worth it! I had been feeling insecure about it for a while, but Sapna (the dentist) and Ash (the assistant nurse) were absolutely amazing. They took their time, paid such close attention to detail, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. It had been a while since I’d had a filling, so I was a bit nervous, but they made it such a positive experience. When I saw the final result, I was overwhelmed — I actually had tears of joy. That’s how much of a difference it made. I feel confident again, and I genuinely recommend seeing Sapna and Ash if you want to leave your appointment not just happy, but glowing!

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Dr Maya Karnad on 2nd July. She demonstrated excellent care, kindness, compassion and patience. The appointment was for Root Canal treatment, that’s Maya’s specialty. However she was equipped for every eventuality which sadly was needed as my tooth was badly infected and had to be extracted. The process was long and throughout the duration Maya showed professionalism, and empathy. she was not phased and kept me calm. I am nervous about being in the dentist chair but Maya’s approach meant that I felt safe in her care. Thank you Maya

Fantastic experience: I first visited this surgery two years ago when my front crown unexpectedly fell out. My regular dentist was closed, but I was lucky enough to get an emergency appointment on a Saturday morning. That’s when I met Jordan — incredibly friendly, professional, and reassuring. He talked me through all my options, and we decided on fitting a bridge. The treatment I received from Jordan and the entire team was outstanding. Since then, I’ve continued to visit the surgery regularly for check-ups. Today, I had a more complex appointment for a large filling. I was extremely nervous, especially because I suffer from lockjaw. Jordan and his dental nurse, Mags, were absolutely amazing. They were patient, kind, and made sure I felt comfortable and at ease throughout the whole procedure. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I genuinely can’t express how invaluable Jordan and Mags are to this surgery. If you’re a nervous patient, I wholeheartedly recommend requesting to see them — you’ll be in the best hands - I will not see anyone else!

Yesterday, I had an appointment with the dental hygienist, Margarita, who was excellent – very thorough, gentle, and professional. In fact, all the staff here – from the receptionists to the dentists and hygienists – are consistently welcoming, friendly, and highly professional. It's a great practice that I fully trust and would happily recommend to anyone looking for quality dental care.

Fantastic experience: I had invisalign orthodontic treatment for my teeth with Dr Arun Madahar at Woodford Dental Care. I am very pleased with the outcome and the whole process. Dr Madahar explained all aspects of the treatment from the outset and was always keen to ensure I was happy with how things were progressing and the next steps to be taken. I was able to book appointments at times convenient to me and the price was reasonable for the level of skill, care and service provided. I would highly recommend Dr Madahar at Woodford Dental Care for any orthodontic treatment.

Fantastic experience: The service was excellent as always. Dr Patel has an excellent chair-side manner. Didn’t have to wait long for the appointment. Didn’t feel rushed when I was with the dentist. Top service! Ultimately, what matters to me the most is that the dentist knows their stuff, and Dr Patel clearly does. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Woodford Dental Care.

Negative experience: Unfortunately very poor appointment management practices. I booked a hygienist appointment for 28th of March (which I booked in February), only to have the clinic cancel it last minute (I received a phone call the day before). When I called back to book a new appointment I was told they didn't have availability until 20th of JUNE! A full THREE months after the original appointment date! I of course found another clinic nearby that was able to accommodate me much quicker. When I then wrote in to complain about this and cancel my appointment to get my deposit back, I immediately received a call back to say they had "just" received a cancellation (I wonder why this wasn't noticed earlier?) and would I be able to come in at 7am on the 3rd of April? To which I said no thank you, I wasn't about to get up at 7 to go to the hygienist and next week wasn't good for me anyway. It's really poor showing in my opinion to cancel an appointment last minute and then not be able to accommodate a replacement until three months later. Perhaps if your hygienists are that oversubscribed you could consider staffing more? Just a thought.

Fantastic experience: I always feared going to the dentist and avoided the dentist for many years. I now have regular checkups and see Samira (hygienist) every 3 months. Samira is extremely professional, makes you feel at ease, and is patient and gentle. The staff at the practice are lovely. 5 stars from me

Positive experience: Generally I've been happy with the service, but I haven't been pleased with how often my appointments are cancelled (sometimes reschedule twice). It seems that diaries are booked solid, so when appointments are cancelled, you go to the back of the queue unless you see another practitioner who has availability sooner. As an example, I booked my hygienist appointment 6 months ago, but had it cancelled this morning and was told I'd have to wait a further 4 months to see my usual hygienist. Majority of the staff seem to freelance between other practices, and may only be at Woodford Dental 1-3 days a week. If you would prefer to receive dental care from one practitioner, then Woodford Dental may not be the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Another great visit to Roy Woodhoo at Woodford Dental Care, who was calming and efficient despite me being an extremely nervous patient who delays dentist visits for as long as possible. My replacement filling was in with no pain or discomfort (other than the drilling noise) in no time.

Negative experience: I have always been happy with this practice But this evening I phoned to make an appointment for a 30 min hygienist appointment my gums are in general good condition so did not need 1 hour. I was told by the receptionist that there might not be enough time to do upper and lower teeth in 30 mins.Which shocked me I felt like she was was really insistent that I should have the longer appointment I have had many hygienist 30 min appointments and they have always managed to do both sets. In that time. Unforuatley I have decided to go elsewhere for this treatment

The dentist, Jordan, was nothing short of exceptionally wonderful - taking such great care and pride in his work - which is done so efficiently - and he always openly offers lots of help and guidance. The dental assistant was endlessly reassuring and kind towards my teenage son. Always keeping the room spotless and hygienic. All in all, this is one slick operation! Thank you to the entire team - a highly recommended dental surgery (lots of parking opposite btw).

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with this practice. A hygienist spent 20 minutes repeating a dental health check that was already done during my last dentist consultation—completely unnecessary. She then informed me she could only do half of the cleaning and asked me to come back and pay another £126 to finish it. There was no explicit consent for the additional check, and I was essentially charged double the original price. This shows a lack of professional standards and basic ethical values. I wrote a complaint letter over a month ago, and the practice has yet to respond. I cannot trust this place and would not recommend it to others.

Positive experience: Always been pleased with treatment at this practice but very disappointed to learn today from the reception staff that people who require extensive hygienist treatment (not just a general clean and polish ) are entitled to some NHS treatment..This needs to be apparently agreed by your dentist (this has never happened despite me being a patient for a long time and my condition obviously documented on the company’s system) - I now have to discuss this with the dentist at my next check up. Why is this no offered to patients who need it???

Negative experience: Reception staff is very unfriendly . They failed to notify us for cancelled appointment . Checked the emails all was just booked appointments and no cancellation. We turned up there and they behaved like it’s our fault somehow. Disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I had a hygienist appointment with Samira at Woodford Dental Care the other day and I thought I would mention what a worthwhile thing it was to do. I am a bit of a nervous patient and Samira was happy to apply numbing gel to my gums and seems happy to engage with her patients to make them feel at ease and forget that they are at the dentist. Well done and thank you. My teeth still feel as though they have just been cleaned.

Fantastic experience: My experience with having some fillings replaced by Dr Sapna and her assistant has been excellent! I've had rather traumatic experiences with a family dentist when I was a child (especially when I needed local anaesthetic by injection) but she was very gentle and she made me feel completely at ease as she explained what she was doing throughout. She is a valuable member of staff and I know I'll be in good hands with her and her assistant!

Fantastic experience: Ella (Dentist) is very nice person with a lovely demeanour. She has a genuine warmth which relaxed me in what had been an stressful week of tooth pain. Fantastic experience: First time here, had an emergency appointment for a broken tooth. Reception team are lovely, so helpful and explained everything no unexpected surprises. Dr Bhavin Patel was very friendly, professional and polite. He explained everything and showed me photos of my tooth (never had that before) and explained the X-ray, we went through the options for repair weighing up cost and function/longevity. Very happy with my visit, going back in a few weeks to replace my temporary filling for more permanent repair could have booked sooner but I work shifts and wanted Dr Patel to do the repair. Positive experience: Reception are always helpful, kind and friendly. The hygienists are variable in their competence. Jayna is excellent and gets booked up well ahead. The one I saw was polite but not confident - unfortunately she burned the enamel on my incisors while polishing them. She still works here. The dentist I saw for a routine check up was competent and efficient. She has been here over a year so I would expect a more confident clinician who doesn’t talk at the patient in order to hurry the consultation along.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was on time. The hygienist was really helpful and listened to what I said. She answered my questions fully and I felt cared for by all the staff

Negative experience: Just to register I was charged £60. First £30 after an online register; the balance of £30 the next day during my first visit. 2 x-rays for £22 which were reasonable. A total of £82. That cost of £60 was just to chat with the dentist about dental care and a look at my teeth. I'm 75 years and don't need to be lectured about dental care. It was my yearly check up. Deep cleaning would be a further £120 done by a hygienist. I have a front crown that I wish to change. On your website a all ceramic e-max crown was quoted as £550 but the handout that the dentist gave me quoted was £705. That's not right. Cheating! Very disappointed by a dental care that seems to promote efficiency. So on the whole Woodford Dental Care didn't do very well.

Fantastic experience: I was treated by Dr Ella. She was very professional and sweet. She kept ensuring I was comfortable and okay through out the treatment. She also talked me through everything so I knew what she was doing at every step and why she was doing it. I would definitely recommend Woodford Dental especially Dr Ella :)

Fantastic experience: I recently had a few appointments here and I’m very happy with the results. Dr Sapna was very understanding and took the time to listen, she then presented a plan and carefully went through this with me. During my treatment, over a few weeks, Dr Sapna checked on me throughout and was very reassuring. The final results are way above what I was expecting. Dr Sapna has given me back the confidence to smile again, without covering my mouth with my hand, for the first time in 20 years. Reception staff and dental assistants are welcoming and caring. Excellent and highly professional dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I was seeing a new dentist (for me) but her previous patient was unwell and I was warned that there could be a delay of around 20 minutes, which meant my one hour car parking ticket might run out. I was offered the opportunity to see another dentist, which I took. He was kind and careful with my check-up and I was out well before my parking ticket had expired. I have been a patient at this practice for well over 25 years and am always very happy with the treatment I receive, both from the caring reception staff and the dentists. This continues, so thank you once again!

On return, I was able to get an appointment with Jordan Dimmock within a week at which he fully repaired the tooth, with an amazing colour match. I couldn't have been more delighted to get the problem dealt with so quickly and with so little inconvenience.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Woodford Dental care for decades. I can’t rate them high enough. For example, yesterday a cap came off a tooth at 7pm. I called at 7.05pm. The lady who took my call can only be described as a goddess. She got me in at 7.30pm. I got the perfect service, care, no pain and all fixed before 8pm. Beat that! I was also in earlier so special mention to Dr Ella.
