Fantastic experience: A splendid experience. My appointment with Shruti for a check up went well. 2 Xrays and they were painlessly inserted. No treatment needed fortunately. The staff are friendly in surgery and reception. Glad to be able to be an NHS patient here.

Fantastic experience: I am an extremely nervous patient, I had no choice but to visit a dentist due to a huge abscess. From the first phone call through to visit to the dental practice I felt at ease. Thankyou and I will be visiting again soon for much needed work. I have now visited Damira in Henley on a few occasions and each visit was as good as the first. I have seen a few dentists and each one are polite and didn't judge on the state of my mouth. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I was really pleased with the thoroughness and care provided during my appointment. The dentist took extra time to replace my filling and identified decay in an adjacent tooth that needed treatment. I felt well looked after, and the dentist was professional and clear in communication. The only area for improvement might be ensuring that post-procedure instructions regarding expected bite sensitivity or discomfort are clearly communicated. Negative experience: I showed up for my appointment at 1800 and the place was shut. They had cancelled my appointment with a part time shift dentist but they failed to contact me to let me know. I phoned them and waited whilst it rang for ages. Finally someone answered who was working remotely. She confirmed I had an appt at that time but couldn't tell me why there was no one there. Fortunately, she was able to book me in two days later. Annoyingly, I still received a scolding email saying I'd missed my appointment. When I did eventually see the dentist two days later I was very pleased with the service. The dentist was friendly and explained everything clearly and I had my filling redone on the spot. So, I can give 5 stars for the dentistry but unfortunately 1 star for the booking system! I will average it out to two stars

Fantastic experience: Hygiene appt after 2 years, always incredibly nervous with dentists but this was a good experience! Met Bushra ibraheem and his assistant, always one to give credit where credit is due. Good energy about him, very friendly, ensuring I was ok throughout the process and giving tips and advice with regards to oral health. Genuinely hate my dental visits, however on this occasion I felt very much at ease! Also, my teeth look and feel brand new, so thank you

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst Dental Practice I’ve ever had the misfortune to experience. The receptionists are rude, miserable and just project an air of not being compassionate. The dentists don’t take in the whole picture, are very closed minded and just so abrupt I was left speechless. I have a “black dot” against my name because I wasn’t able to predict that I’d contract Norovirus and had to cancel my appointment beyond their acceptable time scale. I am very sorry that my Norovirus was not more predictable and acceptable to your time scales. I think you should be thankful that I rang you, stayed at home, and prevented you all from getting sick. Because of my “black dot” I now have to pay a monthly charge?! No thank you. Damira. You should be ashamed of yourselves. (Cody - NHS Dr) I’m a breath away from reporting you to the GDC

Negative experience: I was not impressed with the service I got. It was supposed to be an emergency appointment, but the dentist was more worried about exceeding the 10 minute window than treating me. I'm still experiencing pain and loss of sleep as a consequence. So no, it was not a pleasant experience.

Negative experience: I have been a patient here for several years and previously had good experiences but was disappointed with my recent check up. I found the dentist to be dismissive and she did not explain things clearly. I left feeling unsure about whether I need to be concerned about my teeth or not but certain that if I do need further treatment I will be looking for a different dentist. The reception staff are polite and helpful but I cannot recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Bit of a disappointing visit. Three times an xray was taken waiting for a full image capture. Standard NHS charge for white fillings was confused by dentist's own idea of an EXTORTIONATE CHARGE of £320 instead of £72.50. Lastly the CURRENT BRANCH MANAGER SHANNON, STOLE my £50 deposit for white filling due to late call for 1st time appointment cancellation for previous appointment as was held up in gridlock traffic in maidenhead and was going late, not be on time travelling to Henley on Thames. Stating the dentist did not make money on my cancelled appointment despite me only paying for treatment not appointment booking.

Negative experience: Staff are really lovely but I'm tired of being harassed to see the hygienist when the scale and polish should be done by the dentist. I was told I only needed a little bit done, so why do I need to pay extra for something I've already paid for? I didn't argue with the dentist as can't be bothered but I'm not paying over the odds for someone I don't need.

Although a scale and polish service is included under NHS Band 1, it is only provided if it is clinically required. Sometimes patients do not meet the criteria during their examination. In some cases, the dentist may feel a clean would be beneficial rather than compulsory. This is when they would advise a separate hygiene appointment with our hygienist.

Fantastic experience: I have anxiety but the staff are welcoming and friendly which helps put you at ease. The dentist I saw for a check up was Aseem. He was so nice and explained everything. I then saw Bushra the hygienist. Again explained everything before he done it and if needed I could get him to stop but he was so gentle. Fantastic experience: Kind and friendly nurse and dentist. The injections and filling were done efficiently and with great communication. The ‘bite’ on the filling was perfect and when the anaesthetic wore off there was no pain or discomfort. Negative experience: I had a painful tooth and was given an appointment for the following day, in the chair for 5 minutes most of which was answering questions that I had already answered in the online questionnaire. Given a prescription for antibiotics paid £26.80. 2 days later pain had got worse so returned for another 5 minute sit in the chair and given another prescription for different antibiotics for another £26.80 and told I would be referred to another dentist for route canal treatment because no dentists here were qualified for that procedure this will cost £850 plus another £300+ for a crown. So I have paid £53.60 for prescriptions I could have got from a doctor and paid nothing as I am 75. How can this be an NHS service when there is no one qualified for the treatment required??

Fantastic experience: Can’t fault this Henley company or staff. First class service from the reception to the dentist. one filling carried out with no pain at all. Very small discomfort from a de-scale and clean but that’s because I have sensitive teeth and receding gums. No parking on site but a couple of huge car parks nearby with 1 hour free parking, so all good there.
