Fantastic experience: Attended Seventy one dental on Thursday 10th July for a toothextraction. To say I was a touch nervous was an understatement after a visit to another dentist the previous month was not pleasant. What can I say.,On arrival I was amazed at the facilities on offer very clean and welcoming.Booked in and after a few minutes was called into the surgery. I was met by Dr Wasil and his colleague.His welcoming nature helped ease my nerves. Everything was explained about the procedure and aftercare. The procedure was over within about 20 minutes. Dr Wasil in my opinion is a credit to the practice. I can't fault the treatment I received. Thank you for making this experience pleasant and comfortable. If I'm in need of any further dental treatment I would not hesitate in returning to Seventy one dental.

Positive experience: I was referred by my usual dentist as she thought it might be a difficult extraction and after a traumatic experience several years ago , I was obviously very nervous. Dr Syed reassured me and explained everything and consequently the procedure was fine and quite straightforward.Would definitely recommend the staff at 71 Dental

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Seventy one Dental by my dentist to have a root removed as it had a fracture in it. The treatment was excellent I was put at ease from the moment I walked into the dentist room. He kept me calm and relaxed throughout the whole process. Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Recently visited for a tooth extraction. Staff were brilliant, from receptionists to clinicians. Particular thanks to my dentist (sorry too nervous to remember his name, but a lovely man). Just a thought, when the clinician was going through details regarding looking after gum site after extraction nothing was mentioned about using a cpap machine. I did look it up online and won't use it for 72hrs or longer if needed. Thanks again from one very nervous patient.

Fantastic experience: I have recently had dental implants at the Practice and am very pleased with the results. The whole team at the Practice have been exceptional and very helpful. Dr Ghaffoor is an excellent dentist and is very precise in the work he carries out. I would definitely recommend the Practice for anyone wishing to have implants fitted. Fantastic experience: 71 Dental 1 week post op. I was refered to 71 Dental by the NHS to have an inpacted wisdom tooth removed. As I had been advised 20 years previous, that it wasn't a very nice procedure and I could loose feeling in my face if the main nerve was damaged, I was very apprehensive. I had hoped to have it extracted under general, however, when I arrived at 71 Dental, this wasn't an option. I was introduced to two Doctors, one being Dr Syed who would undertake the procedure. I was soon made comfortable and at easy, we even had a joke. Everything was explained and I was offered a 3D scan to located the main nerve that would allow Dr Syed a better understanding which way to extract the tooth with minimum risk, I did not hesitate and opted for the scan. This was carried out immediately on site. As it happened the nerve was well below the tooth. The tooth was removed quicker than I anticipated. The procedure took 40 mins from start to finish including sutures and although wasn't pleasant, it was a lot better than anticipated. Dr Syed spoke to me throughout, explaining as he went which kept me at easy. The Dental nurse was fab also, knowing exactly what was required and when. While it was a significant concern for me, for Dr. Syed, it was just a routine job. All the staff were polite and helpful. I highly recommend this practice and Dr Syed

Negative experience: Staff are very welcoming and lovely however I am very disappointed in the treatment I received. Went in for a routine appointment as was told I needed a filling. Had the filling changed twice due to pain and now need a root canal. I have been told that the root canal can't be done at the practice (unsure why dentests there cant do a root canal) so have been referred to the dentist across the road. From going in with no pain to now face loosing my tooth or paying £800 with no compensation offered by the practice is absolutely disgraceful. Would not recommend this practice unfortunately despite how nice the staff are.

Fantastic experience: Went to see Yusuf today to replace some old metal fillings with composite fillings. Yusuf kept me informed throughout the long procedure - even stopped to show me in a mirror where he was up too. I really appreciated this as sometimes being able to feel tugs against the sound of drilling etc can be quite daunting! His assistant Kelseigh also kept checking in on me making sure I was okay. I cannot explain how happy I am with the end result! They are much better than I ever could have expected. After years of being paranoid about these teeth in my smile line I cannot even begin to describe how much my confidence is going to grow now I’ve had them fixed! Thank you Yusuf and Kelseigh

Arrived at my appointment, reception staff were lovely. My appointment was with Dr Wasil....he already knew from my referral that I was nervous. Fantastic experience: Just had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr Syed. After months of dread the process was quick and painless. Dr Syed put me at ease by explaining everything to me and he did a fantastic job.

Fantastic experience: Invited earlier than appointment time in to surgery which was excellent. I felt that Alisha took her time to build up the tooth and secure it at each point of the process. The tooth looked in symmetry with my denture and I was pleased with the result.

Fantastic experience: I had a NHS referral for an extraction of a molar. It came out in three pieces and was a bit uncomfortable. Having said that, I was in and out in about twenty minutes, the two chaps involved were very professional, it wasn’t painful, and hopefully, that’s the end of it. I have already registered with a private dental practice a little closer to home, otherwise I would have no problem registering with 71 Dental. An impressive job done.

Fantastic experience: I only have good words for 71 Dental, I had to have a considerable amount of teeth removed, the care and professionalism was fantastic!! Mr Anjum was absolutely brilliant and powered through which in turn helped me! I had a mini meltdown whilst in the chair and the compassion and care I received from Amy S was absolutely fantastic, I honestly can’t thank her enough, she helped calm me, wipe my tears and throughout kept checking and helping me to calm. Fantastic experience: I visited 71 Dental on a referral for an extraction of one of my larger back teeth. It was just over three weeks ago and it has healed beautifully with no problems. The dental surgeon was great, he thoroughly explained everything and the whole procedure was quick and painless. You can really tell he’s fantastic at what he does. The dental nurses were equally great (think they were called Rachel and Amy?) so reassuring throughout the whole thing and went through everything I needed to know. The whole thing was over and I was out and walking to my car in around 15 minutes or so! If you are worried about going for an extraction then you don’t need to be :) I hope I don’t have to ever have any teeth out, but if I ever did I’d want it done here haha!

Fantastic experience: My first time at 71 and it was as good as a dentist appointment can go, i was in for a tooth extraction, upon arrival i was politely greeted and quickly seated, impressed with the cleanliness was only waiting a few minutes until i went in for my extraction. The two members of staff (jess and i didnt catch the other ladys name) that i had were amazing and were so polite and made the procedure go smoothly and easily as possible. The best dentist ive ever been too with outstanding staff. Highly highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: A fab experience at 71 Dental My mum had her tooth root removed and she suffers from bad anxiety Dr Syed and his co-worker made her feel at ease and as relaxed as possible They both seemed happy in their work and took the time to look after my mum I also need a tooth out but have been a but nervous to have it removed, after my mums experience I will shortly be booking for Dr Syed to do this, I'm not even at this practice !

Him and his colleague helped me to breath through the uncomfortable part of the procedure and talked me through every step. I have been impressed with the care I have received from Nazma and all staff at reception ! I would never go to another practice, all staff are considerate and care about the patients whom come into the practice! May you all continue your excellent service to patients.

Fantastic experience: The treatments I have received have been very good. I required a front tooth to be removed and a denture to replace it as a temporary measure whilst I improved the quality of my gums. I have now reached a point where a bridge can be fitted. The entire process had been carefully explained to me and I feel supported by the dentist throughout the process.

Fantastic experience: I have been with 71 Detal for quite a time now and can honestly say that I have never had any probs with the admin staff or the Dentists, my dental techician was named Sarah and she as been fantastic

Negative experience: When I got to the practice it appeared well run and friendly. Until I got into the actual dentist and had the worst experience of my life. Dr Anjum was extremely sharp and discourteous from the outset trying to rush me through and had absolutely no time for me at all. His manner the rudest I have ever encountered in my entire life. Then he gave very little to no explanation of the injection and proceeded to give the worst most painful injection procedure I have ever received in 60 years of going to the dentist. I was instructed by the nurses if in pain to raise my hand if in pain or discomfort I did he continued until I was screaming out in pain and still did not stop. I had to get him to stop and at that point told him he was the roughest dentist I had ever encountered and that he had injured me and I had a bloody lip, as I could feel blood in my mouth. I felt I could not let him carry on I was in tears - this has NEVER NEVER NEVER HAPPENED TO ME IN MY ENTIRE LIFE I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN RELAXED ABOUT GOING TO THE DENTIST. There was no need for him to have pressurised me or leant or my bottom lip when injecting my top lip or removing an upper tooth. He then started to become agitated with me so I asked for the practice manager to come in at which point he said he may have misunderstood me. I spoke to the senior nurse that came in and the practice manager that promised to sort everything out for me to see someone else at another practice as quickly as possible. They even admitting that he had a sharp attitude so one can read much into that and the fact that there are very few praise recommendations for him on the website. 4 days later still nothing organised so I rang back after suffering horrendous pain and swelling from the mess he had made of my mouth. It was like they took no responsibility whatsoever for contributing to this or putting it right. And told me to go find an emergency dentist or go back to my own dentist which seeing as I had been referred to them as a specialist procedure in the first place is not very appropriate. I had been a nurse for many years and have not been spoken to so rudely by doctor/ dentist before in my entire life. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID this man at all costs especially if you are a nervous patient.

Fantastic experience: Had two back teeth extracted...absolutely no pain with the injections and didn't feel the removal at all. The two dentist were great explaining the process in plain understandable english. From start to finish it was a good experience. I would certainly recommend this practice without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I visited this dental practice through a referral through my usual dentist and was dealt with by Dr Wasil and Dr Ruwan for a bit of a tricky tooth extraction but they were both incredibly professional from the beginning, which really put my worries at ease immediately. They assured me of their plans for the extraction, including back up plans of their primary plan didn’t work, which helped ease the stress, and they were supportive throughout the whole procedure. They made what is usually a horrible experience comfortable , which for a trip to the dentist is not the easiest task.

Fantastic experience: Cannot thank 71 dental enough. As many other reviews state, not my usual dentist but was referred through to have a wisdom tooth removed. I saw all the good (and some bad reviews) and just assumed as many do, that of the masses of good ones, there must be some fake ones.. I was apprehensive when I arrived, the staff were punctual and I went in on time. The staff went through all the usual consent prior to my surgery which unnerved me but I was reassured that I would be ok. I was told the surgery was complex and would take around half an hour, I was out in 10 minutes! My other half couldn’t believe it, he said when he was called from the waiting room he assumed something had gone wrong because it was so quick. I cannot thank both the dental assistants who helped me through enough, they told me exactly what was happening as the procedure was taking place and reassured me throughout. You both really are a credit to the practice and I hope you are recognised for it! Obviously the dentist was brilliant as well, so quick, efficient and neat, he was clearly an expert in his field. I am a day post now, I have the obvious swelling and general pain which I am managing with over the counter painkillers and I am following the aftercare. If I was referred here again for my second wisdom tooth I would be very happy (as I could be). They made an unpleasant experience slightly less unpleasant!

Fantastic experience: I was referred for a back molar tooth extraction from the moment I stepped into the dentist room I was to feel at ease. Dr wasil and his lovely colleague went above and beyond to put me at ease. Everything was explianed to me prior to the extraction, I felt no pain at all. Thank you so much
