Negative experience: I have been an NHS patient at Staffa Lodge for the past ten years. During that time I have had one filling. I have always kept my appointments, with annual check ups and hygienist appoitments ....the last ones in March 2025. I have recently moved house and have had a assessment at my new dentist. I have needed FIVE fillings...all verified on xray and I need two immediate hygienist appointments. I have also been given a prescription for high strength flouride toothpaste. I am so disappointed with Staffa Lodge as I had always felt that I was getting a good service. Are NHS patients getting a 2nd class service?

Fantastic experience: Was booked for a filling to be done and 3 days before my appointment I had a filling fall out, on the day of the appt I told the dentist I had a filling fall out and he looked at it and it was not the tooth I was having done that day that the filling had fallen out of however the dentist did both fillings on the same appointment and also done a very good job as did his assistant , very pleased customer

Negative experience: I had an appointment today but my child come down with sickness bug but I had to cancel because I can’t take my I’ll child in to the surgery they said if I cancel then they are gonna take me of the system so sounds like they want my sick child in there as I didn’t have anyone to watch her.

Fantastic experience: Wow what can I say, I had a tooth extraction with Saana Zaidi Friday 23rd and after a quick chat about what to expect quickly got on with the job, it was a 30 minute appointment and after only 15 minutes I was on my way with the offending tooth removed, it's already healing very well thank you so much Saana. Our dentist made him at ease and let him explore the room and play with the light and the chair before he sat down which definitely made his check up easier. So happy with our visit. Thank you.

Positive experience: I got there exactly on time but had to wait 40mins+ before being seen. This isn't first time either. He did apologise but still, I was able to get there on time coming from Felixstowe!

Fantastic experience: The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming. The Practice is clean and modern with clear check in instructions. I am private within the Practice and always get quick appointments if needed. My dentist is very gentle and caring. Happy customer for something that is not an enjoyable experience let's be honest (!)
