Fantastic experience: Back again for a check-up Tessa is amazing I cannot rate her high enough. Back again Thursday to see the hygienist and get my 6 monthly telling off for smoking, but she does a great job.

Fantastic experience: Strange how google 5 stars means you love it ! Not sure if loving the dentist really applies The office staff and dentists are excellent. My family and I have been lucky enough to have this dental practice for many years and never had a problem. When we do they try their best to sort it out as soon as possible. Everyone is helpful and courteous. Recommend for NHS and private.

Positive experience: The dentists and their assistants are always lovely, friendly and professional. The practice appears clean and organised. The only complaint that I really have is with some of the receptionists who are always very unfriendly, curt and rude. I understand they are busy but as they have a role of front of house and therefore someone’s first impression of the practice I think it could be improved.

Negative experience: I have no complaints about the dental treatment itself — the dentist and staff were great. However, the parking enforcement used at this location is extremely harsh and unhelpful. I had an appointment on 12th February but forgot to sign in at reception for parking. There was no mention from the staff at the time to do so. I now realise there’s a sign, so I accept I should’ve noticed and signed in — that’s on me. But I did have a valid reason to be there and even provided proof of the appointment as requested. Despite this, the parking enforcement company is still chasing me for £170, and I’ve had no luck resolving it. I’ve written to them several times explaining the situation, but they’re continuing to pursue payment. I’d strongly urge Oradent to reconsider the parking system they’re using — it feels incredibly unfair to patients who are already dealing with appointments and may simply miss a sign-in step.
Negative experience: Have been at this dentist for a few years now and I have never had anything positive to say about the reception team. Now they have tablets for patients to book in themselves, they do not even acknowledge you walking through the door which I think is rude a very poor customer service. No eye contact, no hello, nothing. It is actually rather awkward.

Negative experience: Oradent always comment on the reviews they are sorry when you have a bad experience with them but they do not fix the problem. People are still having bad experiences when going to their surgery. If the people at the reception are not friendly, rude or incompetent, fire them and if the dentists are the same as the staff at the reception, fire them too. Your services are not free, we pay for that so we shouldn't be treated badly, if no one had problems with their teeth, guess what.....you wouldn't have a job. So instead of apologising every time someone has a bad experience at your surgery ACT AND FIX THE PROBLEM.

Fantastic experience: Very good first visit , seen pretty much dead on time . Mohammed the dentist was lovely , and very knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and offered a treatment plan that saved me money in the short term , which was appreciated ! Positive experience: Waiting almost 25 mins after our appointment time which with 3 kids in a hot waiting room wasn't great. Especially after school/work. However the dentist and dental nurse we saw went above and beyond to put my kids at ease and chatted throughout about what was being done so, worth the wait. Receptionists also lovely and poliet.Just a shame the wait time was so long.
Apologies for the delay with your appointment, occasionally we have emergency that are beyond our control and can cause delays to appointments, but thank you for kind words regarding the Team.

Negative experience: The practice have a habit of sending you appointments that you have not made. I assume this is a deliberate tactic to increase revenue. They've done this numerous times and continue to do so, despite having told them in writing that I no longer want to use them.
Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this dentist for decades. I have never found anything to be unhappy about. I’m always seen within a few minutes of my appointment time and I think it is great that my dentist collects me from the waiting room.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience during my interview at this facility. The staff and manager treated me poorly, made unprofessional remarks, and left me feeling disrespected. As a nurse, I strongly believe in treating every person with dignity, whether they’re a colleague, patient, or applicant. If healthcare professionals can’t show basic kindness and fairness in their own workplace, how can patients expect compassionate care? Being in a position of authority is never an excuse to treat others rudely. Everyone deserves to be treated the way they would like to be treated. I also sensed discriminatory behavior, which is extremely concerning especially in a healthcare environment. If staff cannot treat applicants with fairness and respect, I worry about how they might treat patients from diverse backgrounds. It’s disheartening to see this kind of attitude in the nursing profession, where compassion, equality, and professionalism should come first. Healthcare should be a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

Negative experience: I went to the private dentist here who charged extortionate rates to have one of my teeth extracted. The pain after I experienced because he was so rough and careless was excruciating. I will definitely find a new dentist. One of the receptionists is very rude.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the amazing service at this Dentist. The receptionists, Ellie, Kate, Julie and Sarah and my Dentist Anisha, make the whole experience so pleasant and easy. I called yesterday with a broken tooth and they made me an appointment for first thing this morning, and tried to get me one for yesterday, until I said it wasn't necessary. Today I arrived on time, didn't have to wait and the tooth was sorted out immediately by Anisha, who was so reassuring and gentle! Highly recommended! I have been here again recently and have been amazed by how friendly and helpful everyone has been. I had bad tooth pain and they arranged an immediate appointment, the same day. A couple of days later, I had a further problem and once agin, the appointment was almost immediate, and before I left, they booked me a follow up, to make sure it was all fixed. Excellent service, very little waiting and expert treatment....and all on the NHS!!

Negative experience: I get so worried when it comes to the dentist but.. I had to have a tooth out she gave me the injections to numb it didn't numb properly so she gave me some more hurt me in a process she took the tooth out she could see I was shaking quite badly she didn't tell me to sit down for 5 minutes to calm down just sent me on my way on my way out of the door it felt like I was going to fall over luckily I didn't they should have at least tried to calm me down before I left this is my second bad experience here will never be going again.....also the waiting area looks very dirty the doors haven't been cleaned for a good while

Negative experience: On a recent visit again the car park was full. The new signing in system does not do its job as you still have to give your name at reception. I found the reception area very unwelcoming. There was an emergency appointment which I understand is a priority, I wasn’t told of an additional delay sitting in the waiting room. I had a txt to delay my appointment by 10 minutes but still waited half an hour. The communication is very poor. Hope to see improvements in the surgery.

Positive experience: Found putting in our own information on the screens quite stressful when there's people waiting behnd you. We had a family booking of 4, 1 after the other. Another family got seen by the same dentist Inbetween our appointments which was a bit bizarre. When it eventually got round to me being seen, I felt it was quite rushed and the dentist who is normally brilliant was a bit rough with scaling and polishing today.

Fantastic experience: I just had the best hygienist appointment the 2 lady's were excellent, the hygienist was brilliant and I was very pleased that I hardly had any pain at all, and the lady with the suction tube was spot on, not once did I feel like chocking, she obviously knows her job, please please please keep these 2 lady's at Oradent, every time you get a good hygienist the next time I go, they have gone thanks

Positive experience: I had to wait for 30 minutes beyond my appointment time! No explanation given. Once seen the service was good but the wait time with no explanation is unacceptable.
Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I apologise that you had to wait , but there had been an emergency patient prior to your appointment. When Reception are aware a clinician is running late they usually inform a waiting patient, I apologise if this was not done on this occasion and have raised it with the reception team to ensure patients are aware of delays .
Fantastic experience: I've been registered at this practice all of my life (69 years) so have seen many staff come and go - reception have always been friendly, polite and efficient and my current dentist, Tessa, is particularly nice and, I'm sure, would put anyone at ease.

Fantastic experience: Personally can’t fault the service and care I receive here. Been here years and I’m lucky to still be NHS. I can’t go up the stairs and the dentist is always happy to come downstairs to see me. The receptionists are always helpful as well. My visit today 12/5/25 wasn’t so great. I told the receptionist that I couldn’t go upstairs but she failed to tell my dentist who came looking for me. He saw me downstairs and realised who I was so it wasn’t an issue seeing me downstairs. I mentioned that the new check in screens weren’t at a very good height and they hurt my back to the receptionist and she couldn’t have cared less. They perhaps need one that’s portable for clients who the static ones are suitable for?

Negative experience: So far this has been a traumatic experience. Oradent came up on my FB newsfeed that they are taking on NHS patients. I was advised that a visit/check-up was required before they could take me on. I had no dental issues so I booked the appointment a few weeks in advance so I could allow for time off work. Unfortunately 1 of my teeth crumbled on Easter Monday. The following day I called to see if I could move my appointment sooner but was told it was only possible if I went private. I decided to hold on for 2 weeks and just nurse the tooth. The day arrived and during my appointment with the technician xrays were taken and possible options discussed before a referral was booked with a private dentist. £27 for the NHS appointment and £45 to secure the private dentist. I should have asked if the £45 is the consultation fee but I left with bleeding gums and was feeling a little shaky after having my teeth 'cleaned'. Appointment 2 - I was expecting to have treatment done to the tooth as it was a 30 minute appointment but a 5 second look, a 5 minute discussion regarding requiring root canal on 2 teeth and caps. I was advised I would require 2 x 45 minute visits for each tooth. I inquired about extraction but felt like it was going to be a long, expensive route. The root canal and cap would be £1000 each. I then sat there for 10-15 minutes while he typed a quote. I was asked to sign but without my glasses I couldn't see detail. I noticed it said £1400 but decided to look at the email version. When I eventually received the quote the following day there was a lot of information which didn't make much sense and then it showed 7 visits for a single tooth which totalled £1440. I then emailed back with my concern and requested a quote for the extraction route with denture. The receptionist called me and advised the dentist confirmed that multiple visits are required. It's an hour bus ride from my home and I can't afford that much time off work. Having had root canal in the past I remember it taking 2 appointments - 1 for the root canal and 1 to fit the crown. The dentist has neither called, nor sent the requested quote and now I'm left wondering if I start with another dentist or go abroad?!

Negative experience: Terrible at keeping appointments, my last 5 appointments to have my implants monitored have either been cancelled or time moved or tried to move. Even if you turn up on time they are generally running way late. No way to treat a private patient

Fantastic experience: Elise was very helpful and I think good customer service gets missed a lot so it gives me a good impression of the dentist already! I love that she communicated with me via email as other dentists will keep calling. Very sweet and gave me so much information, finally starting my dental journey so excited Update: the girls were lovely and happy as soon as you walk into reception which was nice, and Dr. Daniil piudik was amazing and reassuring, overall lovely experience and I can’t wait for my hygiene appointment now!

Positive experience: I think the new system of having to sign your self for your appointment is silly. There was people in front of me that were clearly having problems with the system. This causes a que. when I eventually got to sign in I noticed that the dentist I was seeing was up stairs. I went up stairs to Waite.I got talking to the gentleman next to me and commented that I was unsure who I was seeing as it was not my normal dentist.He said he was in the same position. We looked at our appointment cards and found we had both got appointments with the same dentist. His appointment was for 9am for 30 mins. My appointment was for 9.10am so how was that possible? Then a member of staff came upstairs and told us we needed to go downstairs as the dentist had changed the room that he usually works in. In all I think the whole appointment was a bit of a shambles.

Negative experience: There is a problem with my back tooth, my normal Dentist l referred me for private treatment, as it was deemed as cosmetic. I had prepared myself for treatment, which would have been lengthy. When I arrived, the private dentist contradicted what my dentist had said, even thought she had messaged him and given her advice to give me. He said I would need a course of treatment , which she had said might kill the tooth and she wouldn’t recommend.. now I’m totally confused and I had to pay £45 for a consultation that I didn’t need!

Fantastic experience: Oradent were able to fit me in at amazingly short notice. From enquiry about availability for new NHS patients to having an extraction, less than 24hrs. By all accounts, almost a miracle. The extraction wasn't an easy one but was done with kindness and efficiency. Heard from an acquaintance who, after a botched job in Folkestone, had been referred to Oradent - seems Oradent have expertise in handling difficult jobs. Anyway, a big thank you to Oradent for your speedy and efficient service! Very happy to recommend.

Negative experience: Horrific experience! I’ve been registered with Oradent Ashford for several years and never had an issue – until now. I needed an emergency appointment and was completely fobbed off. Called three days in a row starting Monday morning, asking to see or at least speak to a doctor urgently as I need emergency treatment. Each time, I was promised a call back – not once did anyone get back to me. On the third day, I rang a different local practice (that I’m not even registered with!) and they saw me the same day. Absolutely disgraceful service – really disappointed. Not fit for purpose.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Oradent dentists for many years now and always find them caring and understanding. Today I had an emergency appointment on the same day I telephoned, with my usual dentist Waheed, and he was kind and patient, and treated the problem. Positive experience: Our overall experience with the dental team has always been great over the many years we have been with Oradent.Unfortunately it is a really horrid experience coming to reception.The staff are extremely rude and obnoxious.Makes personal comments,constantly either eyerolls,sighs or ignores you.It really tarnishes what used to be such a lovely dental practice.I stand there wondering how they were employed with such horrible attitudes.Reception at any establishment should be friendly and welcoming.Hoping this will get addressed
