Fantastic experience: I very recently required an emergency appointment following the Easter Holidays. The surgery were able to provide me with a same day appointment. The service care, advice I received was wonderful. Whilst the outcome for me resulted in me losing a tooth I cannot fault the experience, being told I needed an extraction resulted in instant fear but the care received from Saara was amazing and painless. Thank you so much. I would definitely recommend you.

Fantastic experience: I was initially concerned when my dental practice became Dental Essence and my long term dentist retired. But I didn't need to worry. The reception staff are always friendly, polite and helpful, and my dentist Saroj always greets me with a friendly smile and makes seeing a dentist a positive experience! Positive experience: My experience on Thursday was an improvement over my last review. I saw the usual hygienist (Charlotte) and she was her usual friendly and professional self, with no repeat of the equipment issues of my previous review (that was also a different hygienist). On to the dentist, the one I had been seeing was on leave, so I saw a different one, who I felt far more confident with, so will be seeing him in future. A very positive visit.

Fantastic experience: I attended Dental Essence Haywards Heath yesterday for a New Patient appointment. The entire process from booking to seeing the Dentist was very smooth. The practice is spotlessly clean and elegantly decorated. All staff I met were throughly welcoming and professional. The Treatment co-ordinator did a dental scan and took a medical history then I saw the dentist, who was also really nice and put me instantly at ease. It’s hard choosing the right dentist and I am pleased to have found such a great practice.

Fantastic experience: My son had chipped his tooth and I got an appointment on the same day and the dentist fixed it. Very good service.

Negative experience: Each dental checkup seems to have less and less work involved in it. A light clean used to be done and sometimes a polish but not anymore. I have only one tooth with a bit of plaque but apparently I need to see hygienist for this. Not so long ago, the dentist would remove that at the check up. So I am disappointed. It seems everything is moving to private dentistry now and checkups on NHS are not the thorough check they used to be

Fantastic experience: Thank you for your fabulous service today. You squeezed my son into an emergency appointment this afternoon with very little notice. He was in terrible pain. The care every team member gave was fantastic. From my first phone call, to your receptionist who when we arrived saw he was in pain and didn't want to sit in a crowded waiting room so suggested we went upstairs where it was quieter. The dental nurse then kindly topped up his water bottle and the dentist was kind, quick and efficient. Your service really was outstanding and compassionate, thank you everyone who helped him today.

She is kind, makes them feel welcome and comfortable and is really clear and informative when giving feedback and advice. The reception staff are also always so polite and friendly. My children also love the children’s corner it helps makes them feel at ease before their appointment. We are glad we have found you!

A treatment plan was put together and all options explained in great detail along with all the pros and cons of each option. My children don't mind going at all because of the relaxed atmosphere (and the child area of the waiting room is great!).

Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment with this dentist. The process of signing up was made really easy by Holli and the receptionists. My experience with the dentist was very good with a detailed examination and x-rays etc. It urns out that I need a crown on one of my teeth which I have made a future appointment for. Very friendly and welcoming - important in a dentist!

Fantastic experience: We just registered our children with Dental Essence because they were accepting NHS patients, and our old practice was not. From the minute we walked through ther door, we were so impressed. This is a much more child friendly practice than our old one, it clearly caters for children much more. The receptionists were helpful and friendly, and the dentist very kind and considerate with the children. I would definitely recommend as a practice for families.

Fantastic experience: Managed to get my two children booked onto NHS (after continuous awful experience elsewhere), and they have just had their first visit with S.Dangi. Reception were welcoming and very helpful. S.Dangi was fantastic and the children were relaxed and calm in the chair. The Halloween treat was also a lovely added extra. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend this practice enough! First time I met their oral surgeon as needed a tooth removed and it couldn't have been any better experience. I was taken in on time, everything was explained in detail prior to the extraction and I felt well looked after. Flora is so efficient, has a very calming approach and her surgical skills are as best as they can be. Tooth came out quickly, painless experience and no problems afterwards. Definitely worth the money. If I ever need a tooth out again I know who to see! Thank you Flora and Zuzka for your great care throughout this procedure, never thought that extraction can actually be a pleasant experience.

Positive experience: Not as good compared to when it was Newlands Dental Practice with Ian Pitman. Dental Essence as a franchise appears far more interested in maximising the amount of money they can add onto any appointment.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dental Essence. I’ve been going for years and my toddler (20months) had their first appointment recently. They have a children’s section in the waiting room and the books were enjoyed. The dentist Yasmin and the dental nurse were very friendly and welcoming to my toddler and accommodated his first visit by being patient and understanding.

Negative experience: My problem with the sensory experience of dental hygiene as an autistic person wasn’t taken very seriously. When I expressed that I would like help to find a solution I was given the same basic suggestions which I have already tried

Fantastic experience: I always find a warm welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Very helpful and obliging. The dentist and nurse are efficient and are very attentive, both have a good sense of humour making the experience very pleasant and stress free.

Fantastic experience: I first visited Dental Essence HH earlier this year after a few years of the same tooth complaint, and seeing multiple dentists who all told me differing things. On my first visit here, they were able to diagnose me with a rare issue and get my treatment underway, referring me elsewhere for parts of the plan and welcoming me back in for the rest. They have made me feel at ease and cared for every step of the way, and have made some scary procedures feel much less scary. Every person I have encountered within DE HH has been fantastic.

Fantastic experience: I honestly love this dentist - the receptionists are so friendly and helpful - as are all the dental staff. Every visit & whoever we see, it’s always the same good experience. (Katie went above & beyond when she comforted me recently when I received some sad news during a hygienist appointment). My son aged 11 had a tooth removed yesterday. Dr Danji & Carly were so patient & reassuring - without their kindness he would not have coped. & so were the receptionists (Emma & Trish) who talked to him afterwards. Thank you all so much.

Fantastic experience: Had an non registered emergency appointment today. I used their offline contact method last night due to my incident happening late at night, they contacted me within 10 mins of opening and offered me a same day appointment at the price mentioned on the website which i personally thought was very reasonable considering the situation and alternatives. The appointment started at the stated time with Dentist Dr F (I wont mention full name on here without their consent) who with their assistant were amazingly helpful and took great care and addressed my issue with ease. I have never been private before but for the price difference the exp was amazing for not much extra money. Very pleased and will look into joining this private practice over my NHS dentist

Negative experience: It was a very poor experience. The new dentist, who didn’t introduce himself and who I didn’t realise was the dentist till I was sitting in the chair, was incredibly perfunctory. He gave my teeth and gums the quickest check over, did t follow up on any of the things that had been noted by the previous dentist, and told me I could go. I was so dazed I just left, only then to realise that I’d pretty much had no service at all.

Fantastic experience: Cannot praise this dentist enough. Phoned for my daughters toothache and was seen the same day. The next free appointment for treatment was in 6 weeks so after it was booked they phoned to get her seen sooner so she wasn’t suffering. So happy my children are registered with this dentist

Fantastic experience: Visited Wednesday, and found everyone at this practise, kind, polite and knowledgeable. I only had an initial consultation due to a tooth coming out, so can't comment yet on any clinical procedures. However , a treatment plan was given verballyand followed up swiftly with a confirmation email. Very impressive. Hower, downside was no new NHS spaces, hence a quote for £1400 for a single tooth bridge.

Yasmin is very gentle, patient and professional explaining recommended dental work necessary and the environment is always clean and welcoming. Due to damage from Tetracycline drugs administered whilst young, the enamel on my teeth has been irreparably damaged and made me quite anxious during dentists visits and Yasmin was very reassuring.
