Fantastic experience: Easy to park, welcoming efficient reception. Thorough explanations by dentist, clear treatment plan and easy to book a course of treatment.

Positive experience: Meg is lovely and very friendly along with the dental nurse that help her. The receptionists on the other hand are rude and grumpy. Clearly they don’t enjoy the job and don’t want to be there. Shame

Fantastic experience: As always excellent experience. Bianca puts me at ease and informs me although the appointment. Car parking is not good at the best of times but some person decided to park over the white line thus taking up 2 spaces instead of 1.

Fantastic experience: I have had 3 appointments with Bianca, one of the hygienists, over the last 12 months. She is professional, friendly, and very thorough. She was very reassuring and explained what she was doing throughout the process. She gave me advice on my routine and recommended types of tepee brushes and the best electric brush. She has perfect people skills and a natural way of communicating. I cannot recommend her highly enough; she is a huge asset to the practice.

Fantastic experience: I can and do 100% recommend the dental practice, the staff are polite, friendly and respectful, they absolutely amazing nothing is too much trouble they go above and beyond all the time they understand my complex medical issues and my severe anxiety around dentist due to have multiple bad experiences with my previous practice they have been so patience with me are are very good and have patience my my little girl and husband I can't give them enough credit ive been registered here since 2011 and I have no thoughts or plans to change. They have a toilet and unfortunately no baby changing room but you change a baby on a changing mat on the floor in the toilet. The downside here is the carpark its small with limited spaces and only one disabled space this should be enforced as i been a few times and sometimes people are parking there with no blue badge, however I think that if they done something like you have to register your parking when you go in for your appointment could minimise the amount of people that use and abuse it or even a barrier to let people in. Well done keep up the good work!

Positive experience: Prompt appointment and professional care. Difficulty parking at busy times. A new hygienist this visit and very pleased with the stain removal.

Negative experience: What a shame that dental health care is now driven by company profits. Elms used to be a friendly family practice but this is no longer the case. The staff are friendly enough but the costs are difficult to swallow where there are no concessions for older people. I realise that Elms is not alone in this but it still saddens me. When attending with tooth ache I was made to wait four days for an appointment only to be told that a specialist’s office would then call me a few days later before I could actually have treatment. I was prescribed antibiotics in the meantime. This is simply unacceptable. Dentists used to be able to carry out procedures such as root canals without all the additional cost and delays. This is more a profit making business than a health care provider.

Fantastic experience: My Hygienist visit with Bianca was again excellent. As Ive said before she has a lovely warm personality that sets me at ease and she is very patient, polite, friendly. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Very slow to be seen by reception as there was only one receptionist. I was on time but was 20 minutes late in being called in, again still 1 receptionist to book for my next appointment . Overall I was underwhelmed.

Fantastic experience: First of all, I'm glad I had somebody drop me off. The car park is small and a lot of issues I witnessed with people not being able to park. For your sake park elsewhere or get a lift. I had a periodontal appointment with Rachel. She was amazing. Non judgmental, very helpful. Very much "this is where we are now, this is what we need to do going forward" some helpful tips were given. I really enjoyed my appointment xx

Fantastic experience: Update on 8 July 2025 Had an urgent appointment due to tooth pain. Fitted in the next day. Once again Meghna was outstanding, great dentist. Update on 17 May 2024 Another excellent experience. We are so lucky to have Meghna, she is such a fantastic dentist in all respects. We know we always receive the best treatment. Her dental nurse is also very nice & friendly. Outstanding! Felt very safe re covid. Reception were fantastic, very friendly & helpful. Our family Dentist is Meghna, she is excellent in every respect. An outstanding Dentist who put me at ease and explained the options and best recommended course of action. Her assistant is also excellent and very responsive to a patients needs and concerns.

Negative experience: Receptionist are rude full of attitude allowed us to sit there for 30 mins to then say can we come back at 1:30 very unprofessional dentists i only Take my child here because I have no choice I personally don’t recommend this dentists at all avoid if you can Suggestion for the practice manager send your receptionist to a customer service course the google reviews here show they need one

Negative experience: Receptionist are absolutely rude in here I don’t recommend them at all Bupa dental care are much more welcoming

Positive experience: I can’t fault the dentist who is amazing but the receptionist I spoke to on the phone was unnecessarily officious in her response and in her tone of voice - maybe a refresher course on how to speak to a customer wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Fantastic experience: Rebecca has supported me for over 7 years with my fear of the dentist! Now I fall asleep on the chair because she is so gentle and talks me through each step, I’m honestly not even joking! I never thought I would be having a filling or 2, Invisalign and composite bonding 7 years ago, I absolutely love my smile now and I wouldn’t go to any one else! Rebecca has taken the time to get to know me and always remembers to ask about things like upcoming holidays etc! It makes the whole experience more personal!

Fantastic experience: Great appointment with Rebecca - I’m usually nervous at the dentist but she made me very relaxed! My assessment was very thorough and I was given lots of opportunities to ask questions to work out the best treatment plan for me! And when the treatment started I didn’t feel a thing! Will be back for my root canal feeling much more at ease!

Positive experience: I have been registered with The Elms for over 35 years ... I am an NHS patient ! Cancelled appointments are no surprise to me. I did have a successful appointment today, 3rd time lucky as the previous 2 appointments had been cancelled. I do think The Elms have NHS patients dangling from a string and really want people to go private. *However on a positive note, when I do get to see Sobia my dentist, I am extremely happy with her approach, skill, knowledge & manner.

Negative experience: Dentist and dental assistant couldn’t ask for better - Polite, professional and pleasing to deal with. Unfortunately only a 1 star on account of the reception staff for incompetence and rude argumentative individual who thought it’s ok to pick a fight. Overall, unacceptable behaviour and totally unfit for role as a front desk operative. This dental practice needs to review and overhaul the conduct of its front desk staff. I now need to look for an alternative practice.

Negative experience: After a visit I am asked to make a booking for me and my kids, in six months time. Every time they get cancelled and I have to rebook but the new booking is never anywhere near when the original one was. They are very disorganised.

Fantastic experience: Kept well informed of appointment time. Seen promptly. What I had to do in terms of oral hygiene was checked and reinforced. Made to feel relaxed and not rushed at all. After years of worrying about dental appointments, no issues for me at all . Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: I was seen by A Rahman. Very competent dentist. I had different private dentist giving me various different diagnosis. He was able to consolidate my dental condition and gave an honest list of options and its pros/cons. Some of the diagnostics he conducted really felt competent and he was able to point me to the right direction. A lot of the reasoning he gave actually matched my circumstances.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't fault the reception staff at Elms Dental Practice—they were incredibly helpful when I rang with chronic toothache on the Monday just before the Christmas break. They managed to get me in to see Adil-Ur the day after Boxing Day, which was a huge relief. Adil-Ur was fantastic, clearly explaining that the tooth needed to come out as soon as possible, but only after completing a course of antibiotics to clear the infection. Once again, the reception team did their absolute best to secure the earliest appointment available, which sadly wasn’t until the 30th of January. However, given the immense demand on NHS dentists at the moment, I’m just grateful it wasn’t even longer. Fingers crossed the tooth holds up until then, but I’m so thankful for the care, kindness, and professionalism of the entire team. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: Hygenist v thorough. Teeth feel great afterwards. Consent and medical history questionnaire extends to be more of a marketing tool for teeth whitening and straightening. Parking is becoming an offputting problem.

Negative experience: Car parking is a shambles had to reverse out 3 times before could get in then blocked everybody in just to register then told can park to left and block staff in. Once in seen quickly but just checked over no X-ray all for £75 and 5 minutes rip off. When booking for 12 months time wanted a £30 deposit.

Positive experience: My only complaint is having my appointments delayed , apart from that it’s a great practice, friendly staff, well organised.

Negative experience: Went to register for my Partner under NHS and when registered we asked for an emergency appointment. Was so disappointed with the lady at reception as she wasn’t accommodating at all. My partner has to leave in acute pain and distress.
