He took the time to clearly explain the entire procedure, which really helped reduce my anxiety. My tooth extraction went smoothly and was completely pain-free. I’m very grateful for the excellent care I received and would highly recommend Dr. Malik to anyone looking for a skilled and reassuring dentist.

Negative experience: Had a problem understanding a lot of what the dentist said to me also I felt a little abrupt at times and the procedure seemed to go on longer than I thought it would, I felt most uncomfortable and was glad when it was over with.

Fantastic experience: Lovely Kind Dentist, knows his job and treated me with the utmost respect, being a hard of hearing elderly lady with medical issues, he was so very, very kind and patient with my lack of understanding. Would definitely recommend him. My previous dentist practice went private, I was not informed and did not have the check ups for nearly 3 years so when I contacted them I was informed they had gone private. However, I am so very thankful that Newbury Dentist has taken me on, so very grateful. A Massive Big Thank You to them.

Fantastic experience: I was terrified about having my tooth extracted but I was put at easy straight away. They used cream beforehand and explained everything they were going to do before they did it. They were patient and professional. My tooth came out relatively easily and I was given advice on after care. The place was clean and tidy and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming as well as helpful. So I would recommend this surgery

The dentist called me in early , he talked me through everything that was going to happen . Fantastic experience: I’ve now had 3 wisdom teeth extracted on 3 separate occasions by Dr Ali Malik and each time it has been a stress free experience. He’s very calm and explains the procedure and provides helpful updates throughout. I had a very tricky wisdom tooth extraction a while ago and he dealt with it very well. I never have any problems afterwards and the extractions are always done well. The receptionist staff are also very friendly and helpful

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Newbury dental by my dentist to remove a tooth that had previously had a root canal but had snapped down the the gum, I saw Ali Malik and his lovely assistant and I was instantly put at ease, he chatted to me about different things to take my mind off it and made me so relaxed by using breathing techniques! I wish I lived closer as id change my dentist immediately! Tooth was out in no time and he kept talking to me throughout the whole process!

Dr. Adelek was incredibly kind, patient, and professional, especially with my daughter, who is autistic and can find medical settings overwhelming. His calm and gentle manner helped her feel safe and comfortable throughout the appointment. We’re also very grateful to his assistant, Nahla, who was equally warm, understanding, and supportive. Both Dr. Adelek and Nahla showed great empathy and patience, which meant so much to us as a family. It’s not always easy to find professionals who understand the needs of children with ASD, but they went above and beyond. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have suffered from dental phobia in the past, so was not looking forward to the dental visit to have a back tooth removed due to experiencing problems with a tooth infection on several occasions recently. I saw Ali Malik. He put me at ease straight away with his very calm manner, there was no rush at all. He explained everything he was doing. I did not feel the injections or the tooth removal. I could not believe how quickly and painlessly it was done. He is an amazing dentist and his dental nurse was also very nice, calm and reassuring in manner.

Fantastic experience: Very efficient Dental Practice. I had to have multiple extractions, Mr Al-Gholmy was very good, excellent bedside manner, explained everything and made me feel at ease. He was quick, used plenty of anaesthetic and made sure I felt no pain, so much so I didn't even realise half of the extractions had been done.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a tooth removed. The receptionist sorted out a couple of forms for me to fill in and was very cheerful. After a short wait a lovely nurse took me upstairs to a treatment room. Mr Al-Gholmy explained everything that would happen. He was so gentle with the injections that I barely felt them. I chatted with the nurse while the injections took effect. Mr Al-Gholmy was so calm and kind that he made me feel at ease. What I thought would be a stressful experience turned out to be a lot better than expected. Aftercare instructions were given and explained. An experience that I was dreading was made so much nicer by all the staff. I would recommend this practice and I would be happy to go again.
