I first discovered the practice when my two children were treated there, and I was so impressed by the level of care, kindness, and professionalism they received. It made the decision to register as a patient myself an easy one, and I am so glad I did. From the moment you step inside, there is a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone you meet is friendly, approachable, and genuinely happy to help. It immediately puts you at ease and creates a really positive environment. Lauren always greets you with a smile. She consistently takes the time to explain everything clearly and patiently. Her kind and friendly manner makes the whole process feel easy and well organised, and she helps to take the stress out of every visit. Appointments are always on time, which I really value, and the practice is spotless. It is modern, bright, and clearly very well maintained, which gives you real confidence in the quality of care being provided. Dr. Gursh truly sets the example for the whole team. He is calm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the work he does. He took the time to explain all of my treatment options in a clear and detailed way, and he made sure I felt fully informed before making any decisions. You can see that he takes great pride in both his own work and in leading such a well-run practice. Dr. Sandeep carried out my treatment and was absolutely fantastic. She explained each step as we went along, worked with a very gentle and reassuring approach, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout. The results were excellent, and I am so pleased with the outcome. Kate, the hygienist, was wonderful. She took her time, and was thorough yet gentle, and explained what she was doing every step of the way. I left feeling like my teeth had never been cleaner. Dr. Alnaimi also took the time to go through all the possible options for my treatment. He explained the pros and cons of each one in detail, and together we agreed on the best plan going forward. His professional and thoughtful approach gave me real confidence in the decisions we made. A big thank you to everyone at Ascent Dental Care in Loughborough. Fantastic experience: Having recently moved to Leicestershire we were looking for a new dentist. My husband had a crown fitted by our previous dentist & was having pain. We both went to see Shivam at Ascent & he was fabulous. My husband was made an appointment to see a specialist & the following week he had a root canal. He's now pain free & SO happy! The staff at the Loughborough surgery are so friendly and professional. They call to remind you of appointments & in fact called the day after hubby's root canal to check he was ok. Wow! To say we're impressed is an understatement. At last a dentist we can trust to take care of us. Have recommended Ascent to neighbours.

Negative experience: NEED AN IMPLANT? THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO COME Despite the over-acted smiles from staff, in the background there is a misleading agenda of trying to extract as much money out of the patient as possible. I went in January '25 for an implant and was told by the dentist by June '25 I would have the implant in. The hygienist appears to rule the show. I was given 2 unnecessary cleans, then told I would need a surgical clean followed by antibiotic injections in my gums with 'Mo'. Not once did the dentist have a say in this or check me again. I was then told by the hygienist my implant would be in by 'this time next year'! (April 26). It was then that I became suspicious of the money scam. I then went to 2 other dentists for advice at 2 clinics in Leicester. Both told me my gums were perfect. Do not use Ascent Dental for implants. They have an agenda of longing out treatment to gain as much money from you as possible. The dentist did not see me after the initial consultation, incredibly, all decisions were being made by the hygienist. I have since had the screw fitted and my new dentist controls what happens to me not the hygienist. The one star I gave was for the Oscar winning overracted smiles the 'Stepford' staff constantly give whilst taking your money by any means possible. ALWAYS seek a second opinion. I was returned a fee of £38. In response to your reply: You say you have overseen 4000 implants. So thats 4000 people you've potentially ripped off not just me. How is that ethical or professional? 2 other dentists in Leicester agreed I was perfectly ready for the treatment, and yet your clinic conveniently prolonged my treatment without reason. Contrary to what you claim, your clinic never told me i was not suitable for the treatment, nor was I asked to 'explore alternative solutions'. You told me i could have the implant after 1 year and 4 months after i first attended your clinic. So please stop making up responses to appear blameless. Others reviewers also agree with me that your clinic has 'surprise charges galore' 'charging Harley Street prices' 'beware their prices are extortionate for Loughborough' , 'going to report your practice for unprofessionalism and unethical behaviour' and 'other private clinics were offering half of what you asked with sooner frequent dates'. So it seems there is a pattern developing with your clinic with regards to extracting money from patients without justification. DO NOT ATTEND HERE FOR IMPLANTS. YOU WILL BE WAITING FOR OVER A YEAR AND MUCH MUCH POORER FOR IT.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday morning I woke up with severe nerve pain, so I looked online and left my details with Ascent and they called me back within minutes. An appointment was made for the same day and I even got a call to say the dentist could actually see me a bit earlier! I was greeted by Mandeep and Caitlin- two lovely professional ladies. The assessment was thorough and swift, in a very smart clean environment. I then had an x-ray and was told the price upfront. After discovering a big hole in my top left wisdom tooth, it was agreed that it was best to extract it. I assumed we'd make a secondary appointment for that, but no, it was done there and then. It was completely pain free and if you're of a nervous disposition, there's no need to worry; the girls were great and always asking about my welfare. I was given after care advice and extra gauze which I appreciated. The very kind receptionist took payment after the procedure and we arranged a new patient appointment for two weeks time. We all know that dental treatment is not cheap but the service was great and I was going to need it doing at some point. It's worth investing in your own health and happiness (the pain was awful!!!). Thank you to everyone at Ascent.

Using the clear aligners to straighten and close the gap between my two front teeth, which I was very self conscious about. My wisdom tooth extraction went fantastically well and I had no issues with anything. Also did not need pain meds later even though the tooth was a strong and stubborn one. Fantastic experience: Very kind gentle and compassionate with the extraction of my problem tooth. Update - twelve months after my extraction, yesterday I attended the practice for my implant procedure. There had been a few hi ups prior to me attending due to another medical matter I had but Lauren kept in contact, showing so much kindness, so that we could finally set a date for the procedure to happen. Leading up to the appointment day I was quite anxious but needn't have been. Everyone in the team was so kind and understanding. Prior to being called in to the chair, I was asked about entertainment matter to help me to relax which I wasn't expecting. During the procedure Shiv and the other three members of the team (sorry can't remember the names) helped me to relax, making my duration in the chair pain free with appropriate anesthesia, always explaining what was happening at each stage and keeping my spirits up. One thing that was apparent is the teamwork of the staff within the room with each person showing the same respect and encouragement for each other, as they were for me. I would like to also think that the staff enjoyed the 1980s music which I had selected playing in the background. Once the process was completed, I was given clear instructions of what I needed to do post procedure and over the coming weeks. My husband would also like to thank everyone at Ascent Loughborough for providing him with coffee in the waiting room whilst he waited for me. Thank You to All

All the staff are friendly and very pleasant. I recently had a retained root removed and had a very positive experience. I had a problematic tooth & was seen by a specialist who did a root canal & the results are unbelievable! Today was my 2nd visit to the hygienist who was very pleased with improvements to my gums following her recommended regime previously. Negative experience: Booking an appointment was easy, the clinic is very nice and so was the staff on the day and the head dentist who I had a consultation with . He even recommended a person who might fit better with what I wanted but ultimately and I made this clear in my emails I decided I was happy to go with the clinic. But they took weeks and weeks to get the cost of the treatment to me , I then ask a simple standard request about getting an individual breakdown for the costs of each appliance for transparency once I actually got the sent the total price after weeks of chasing up but yet still getting automatic reminders which is reasonable if I'm spending thousands of pounds . And then they decide to just not treat me or get the cost to me with a very short, undetailed email. It's literally such a simple request. Nice people but unprofessional. So I can't give more than 2 stars. Update to reply: That's fine to say , but you cannot take weeks and weeks to get back to someone and then not explain the reasons in detail you don't think I'm suitable for the treatment. Frankly it's not good enough to just say a generic blanket statement without being specific in the emails. Because there is nothing I have really said that suggests I'm not suitable for the treatment as stated above . For anyone reading, all I asked in addition was a query about the experience the dentist had with facial orthodontics which they themselves have as one of their qualifications. I also just asked why the plan only gave me one top ALF appliance. If me asking, run of the mill simple questions makes me ' not suitable for treatment ' then what kind of practice is this? Not to mention I was encouraged to ask and send through any follow up questions I had after the session. Your lack of actual specific reasoning in our emails is disgusting and unprofessional. Latest: Going to report your practice for unprofessionalism and unethical behaviour. Blatant excuse and no accountability for your actions , just to let everyone know I still sometimes get automatic emails from them urging me to sign the contract. Bloody unbelievable that they couldn't answer a simple question about price, so then make up some excuse about me better suited for treatment elsewhere.

I have a tendency to faint and they were so patient whilst I recovered afterwards - thank you so much ladies! I had booked an emergency appointment earlier in the day and then missed it, but they managed to fit me in later. I kept Mandy past the time she should have left but there were no complaints and no rushing me. Very kind and professional.

Fantastic experience: I visited Jesal Savania at Ascent, Loughborough for the first time today for treatment on an old, infected root canal filling. The support before the day was excellent & the treatment was superb. All the girls put me at my ease & Jesal explained each stage of the procedure as he went along. He was extremely gentle & I genuinely felt no pain. No one enjoys a trip to the dentist for major treatment but if I need it again in the future, I will definitely visit Ascent.

Fantastic experience: Broke a tooth and part of an old filling so a major repair required. Ascent notified me of a cancellation so was able to have the work done quickly. Dr Shiv put me at ease and all went well. I suppose non of us looks forward to a dentist appointment but they ensure our teeth are in the best shape possible and that helps prevent related health issues.

Fantastic experience: I had a terribly cracked second molar, and it already had such a large filling with a pulp cap done on it before. I was recommended to Ascent Dental Care by my friend so I booked an appointment to get it accessed. Unfortunately, there was quite a large damage done and there was also cavity under the old filling so I was recommended to have a crown placed upon it. I appreciate how Dr. Shiv was upfront with me about the possibility that my tooth could not be saved, however, he and the team still tried their best and presented me with all possible options, then gave me a thorough treatment plan that best fits my schedule, as I planned to go abroad for a long time in September. In the end, the crown was finished even earlier than the intended appointment, which was a pleasant surprise. I was quite nervous during my appointments with them, however, Dr.Shiv and Steph made my appearance incredibly pleasant. I only experience minor discomfort throughout my appointments, despite the complex procedures, and keep me updated with everything that will happen. The reception team was also incredibly helpful, friendly, and were willing to answer any questions that I had as well. Everyone did such an amazing job!

Fantastic experience: Today was my second time at Ascent Dental Care to get new replacement retainers for the night for my top teeth. They did the bottom retainers for me in May, as my old one doesn't fit anymore after I had some implants done. They are reliable, with a quick response and quick appointment. Good price too. I would recommend them for that treatment, and I will use them again in the future if I need another replacement

Fantastic experience: Being a nervous patient, I found Ascent Dental Care Loughborough online whilst looking for somewhere to have an impacted wisdom tooth removed. I was impressed by their reviews and decided to ring and book an appointment with them to see Simon the Oral Surgeon. I was extremely nervous after having a traumatic experience at an emergency only dental practice a couple of months ago. It was recommended that I have the treatment done under IV Sedation. I had my appointment yesterday. I was rather nervous, but I was made to feel extremely relaxed and that I was in the best care possible. Simon and the dental nurses took amazing care of me throughout the entire appointment, reassuring me that I would be pain free and completely relaxed, whilst not remembering the majority of the process due to the IV Sedation. I can completely say it was the best experience I have ever had at a dental practice. I experienced no pain and have had my confidence restored in being able to get any dental treatment I need done without worry. I can't thank Simon and everyone at Ascent Dental Care Loughborough enough for all the care and encouragement I have had for this treatment. I definitely won't be going anywhere else for dental work.

Positive experience: I saw the Ascent Dental Care post on face book and at first I was a bit sceptical about booking an appointment with them. I thought of trying my luck and I will never regret my decision. They are very professional in their approach, their communication and general conduct. They are friendly, thorough and flexible!

Fantastic experience: I was referred for a root canal and crown, due to a horrible abscess which I hadn't realised was very serious! I was terrified. I am scared of dentist processes anyway but had so many horrible stories from people about crowns I thought it would be horrific and felt it might be easier just to take the tooth out. Now, I am so glad I went and got a crown instead! From the moment I booked in through to my last appointment for this tooth, everyone has been so kind and helpful. I want to thank Jess and his wonderful dental nurse who were very kind, professional and considerate throughout. They explained everything to me as we went and did a great job in keeping me calm and sane! The whole process was not horrific, it was not the ordeal I imagined. Honestly for a serious dentist activity it was as painless and comfortable as it could have been. I am now the proud owner of a new crown which is so good and comfortable I can't remember which tooth it is! Also no one pressured me to have anything cosmetic or extra done which was lovely. Highly recommend Ascent in lboro for having a crown done by talented, kind and patient staff. Particularly Jess! If I need anything else in future Ascent is my first choice.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant service and care provided by Ascent. I recently had my wisdom tooth removed at Ascent Dental Care Loughborough, as I was tired of waiting to be seen to by an NHS doctor (I was on an NHS waiting list for over a year), with my wisdom tooth decay getting worse and worse, causing me considerable nerve pain. I was soon justified in my choice to go with Ascent over the NHS with the Ascent surgeon (Simon) and his colleague being very professional, communicative, attentive and reassuring during the entire procedure. At the end of the surgery I was provided with all the medication required for my recovery, as well as an information pamphlet. I also found the price to be very reasonable for the quality of service. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ascent and will be going back for my next dental work.

Fantastic experience: Staff very friendly they make you feel welcome also the dentist was kind he explained what I needed also he is the first to tell me that I bite down on my teeth, I'm glad I've found a lovely dentist that care's also does an amazing job.

I was welcomed with a nice smile from the receptionist, and also the other members of staff. Never felt relaxed and comfortable whilst I had my check up, thank you for restoring my confidence. Fantastic experience: I have just spoken with Ellie on reception, what a lovely girl. She put my mind at ease as i am a really nervous anxious patient. My dentist Jotyi is fab, caring and always calms me. They are a really practice. All very understanding of anxious patients. 23.1.24 ive just had a main front tooth out and replaced with anew one. Dr Shiv and Hollie were brilliant. So caring and really looked after my well being. They are an amazing group of professionals at Ascent and i couldnt be happier. Fantastic experience: ***EXTREMELY NERVOUS PATIENT*** I have a very severe dental phobia due to past experience (not with this practice) I have been with Ascent Loughborough for several years now, But before this I was contemplating never visiting the dentist ever again because my phobia is so severe and I always felt so out of control while sat in the chair. But with the help of Mandeep (my Dentist) and the team at Ascent I've managed to successfully have dental work carried out as and when it's been needed. Because my phobia is so severe, she understands the importance of me not being able to leave the practice and return at a later date for any dental work that needs doing, instead, doing everything on the day without me ever leaving the chair (this is so important to anyone who suffers severe phobia) She takes her time with me, she explains everything thoroughly, and puts up with my rather embarrassing panic attacks and tears while sat in the chair (even for simple check ups) The relief is absolutely overwhelming when you find a dentist as good as this one. Dental fear is absolutely crippling and debilitating at times. Finding the right dentist is so important. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else now.

Fantastic experience: I rate this dentist a 5 star because my daughter who is 12 has a phobia of dentists and she needed a brace. Charlotte and holly made her feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the procedure and she is loving the brace and can not wait to show it off to all her friends!

Fantastic experience: I have recently been to the dentist after many years of not going, both Mandeep the dentist and Alex the nurse have assisted me on my journey - when i thought all hope was lost. When i first went, i would be in tears, as id be so scared, they have coached me through, kept me informed, given me an understanding of what needed to happen and helped me become more relaxed, I really couldn't recommend highly enough.
