Fantastic experience: I received excellent care at the practice from arrival to departure. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the premises spotlessly clean. Annalize was extremely professional. She explained my implant procedure in detail so I knew exactly what to expect. The surgery was more complex and time consuming than I had imagined but at all times done with great care and concern for my comfort. Thank you Annalize for a job expertly done.

Fantastic experience: My Wife and I have attended The Dental Practice for a number of years. We see James (our dentist) and Laura (Hygienist) twice yearly for check ups and oral hygiene maintenance. Both are knowledgeable and skilled professionals who are always friendly and helpful in every respect. Whenever we have needed additional dental work carried out, crowns etc, this has been always been accompanied by detailed explanations as to why necessary and what is involved. Being in our mid-seventies we have used a number of dentists in the past, but none have ever come close to the exceptionally high standards of The Dental Practice. The actual surgery is modern, spacious and provides ample car parking space if needed. Reception and all other staff are all welcoming and friendly, making a visit unlike that to be found anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: A wholly professional approach to a delicate and complicated procedure to deliver three root canal upgrades, was completed over three visits. The experienced team helped me relax, paid due care and attention to my worries, reassured me at every step and delivered a successful, high quality result, three times in succession. Remarkably, I had no after effects, did not require paracetamol and went straight back to work afterwards. The lead clinician has very high standards, wide experience and is not satisfied unless she delivers a 100% result. I am very grateful for the service and support I received over the last six months. The administration support, premises and equipment are all of a very high standard. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I’m rather a nervous patient and Ansonette is always so kind and so reassuring. I had a filling yesterday. I didn’t feel a thing, either during the procedure, or after the anaesthetic wore off, and the filled tooth looks and feels great. Ansonette is the best dentist I have ever been to. I’d give her 10 stars if I could!

Negative experience: I am not normally one to leave negative reviews but coming out of a professional place feeling utterly humiliated I feel it needs to be addressed. I arrived at The Dental practise Shoreham early and parked in the bay, the receptionist knocked on my car window loudly and told me I need to register my car or I would be fined. This is fine but was slightly frosty. I then went into the survey and registered my car. I went up to a different receptionist to apologise as I later realised my email had gone into spam stating the parking instructions. I was greeted with a frown, looked me up and down and proceeded to dress me down in a full waiting room to be told off like a child. I then had a form shoved in my face and was incredibly unprofessional and I wanted to leave there and then. I understand it was my fault not checking my spam however I did not need to be told on numerous occasions once it had already happened.

Fantastic experience: Very good, put nervous patients at ease.great service even in this pandemic period. Big respect for the hygeinist. Great work.my visits have allowed me to see many hygienists who have all been brilliant. Top practice.

I was recommended to the team at Shoreham by a friend and I highly recommend their service. James was patient and gentle yet thorough. Fantastic experience: I cannot praise the practice highly enough. Receptionists are always friendly and helpful and the environment is as pleasant as a dentist waiting room can be. Donya is the kindest, gentlest dentist whose work is without fault. She goes above and beyond to care for this very nervous patient. Together with the equally kind assistant Charlene they make the whole experience (almost) pleasant. A trip to the dentist is always a bit scary but this practice is as good as it gets!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited the Dental Practice for the replacement of an old crown. Under their new ultra efficient system this was all completed in one day …2 sessions with a gap in between while the new crown was shaped and constructed by Trudy , the practice manager, in their onsite lab. It was all very impressive and smooth. Dr James Matthew, my dentist is excellent and inspires trust. His nurse has a kind and warm manner. lThe receptionists are always friendly and the interior of the practice is stunning. It’s a very nice place to visit . You can almost forget you’re at the dentist !

Fantastic experience: I had two root canal treatments at The Dental Practice under sedation. I felt entirely confident that I was in the most professional of hands and everyone at the practice was incredibly reassuring and sensitive.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ansonette Walles and her team at The Dental Practice are amazing. I had years of issues that had built up due to being anxious of the dentist as well as how impossible it became to register for an NHS dentist after about 2019. After randomly bumping into one of the practice nurses she encouraged me to try private and I decided it was time (in hindsight it is hard to thank her enough for this encouragement). I was seen for a 90 minute assessment and felt listened too and treated respectfully and left feeling positive. A significant treatment plan was discussed to address my issues and I decided to commit, it was less than I feared though represented a large investment in myself. Each appointment whilst long was superb, I quickly trusted them and found myself having intense treatment but feeling incredibly relaxed and even falling asleep a couple of times. They talked through everything in advance, checked often on my comfort and work efficiently. The work that was done, was focussed on repairing a lifetime of damage I had allowed to happen and as they did this work it totally transformed my mouth. I cannot recommend this practice, everyone there and especially Dr Ansonette Walles enough! This next bit will sound cliché, however they totally transformed my smile through their work - I genuinely had learnt long ago not to show my teeth whilst smiling and had got used to covering my mouth whilst talking. After a few months I am getting used to the fact I don't need to worry about this anymore and can once again smile normally. Thank you soo much

The staff are very welcoming, my dentist provided excellent treatment and follow up advice and the whole surgery is fresh, clean and extremely well equipped with all modern clinical equipment. Fantastic experience: I have just had my first root canal treatment and can only praise this team. I was so worried about the options available and different costs involved. Instead of being annoyed with my dithering, I was treated so kindly and there was no pressure at any stage. I finally opted for the root canal and I honestly felt no pain. Just a bit of discomfort holding the jaw open. The kindness was overwhelming and the treatment excellent

Negative experience: It’s a tricky one, the dental team are so kind and lovely but I’ve had bad experiences with the receptionists who can be quite rude. It’s a shame because the quality of care and treatments from the dental staff is very high. Very knowledgeable and lovely with kids. But the whole experience has a bitter taste in your mouth when the reception team can be so rude. Especially when it comes to parking at the front, they give me the impression that prior to being receptionists they might have been traffic wardens!

Fantastic experience: Never written a review for The Dental Practice before. From the moment I walk through the door to when I leave I'm met with a really great atmosphere and care I've never had from any other practice. Dr Ansonette Walles is the practitioner I usually see. She always listens to any concerns and always makes you feel welcome and cared for. Professional and caring really changes the experience and feel of going to a dentist. I've had issues in the past with other practices but this one never lets me down. Quite simply one of the best dentists I've ever registered with. Highly recommend to any nervous patients :)

Fantastic experience: The Dental practice is bigger and spacious compared to other dental practices. I think they have a good team. Their dental hygienist, Jade Macdonald who I know from the other dental practice is gentle and professional. She will make you at ease and comfortable during the procedure. She is amazing. That's why I really made a way to find her where she has moved. I follow her though I live miles away from Shoreham. They are lucky to have Jade in their team.

Fantastic experience: Having avoided the dentist for 25 years after a traumatic experience, many of these years with a cracked tooth.. I found myself forced to search for a dentist when this tooth eventually chipped and was giving me quite a lot of pain! My brother-in-law had recommended Shoreham dentist being a nervous patient himself and was able to talk me through his experiences. On this trust I decided to take the chance and book an appointment. My first experience walking in to Shoreham dentist was it was very inviting, and did not feel like a dentist while inside. We were then met by Dentist Donya, who has now been treating me for the past 6 months. Donya is incredibly bubbly and full of life, very personable and took the time to get to know me and find out why I avoided the dentist for many years. She was able to deliver the information very reassuringly and put my mind at ease ever step of the way! During the past 6 months I had been treated by Donya, and Annalize - whom both make you feel like you're their only patient. I have received a root canal, two fillings and full periodontal. (Needless to say my teeth needed some TLC). Contrary to my initial fears, at none of these treatments did I feel pain or much discomfort, and amazed looking back on the journey I have taken to achieve full dental health. I'm still astounded how hard they worked to save my tooth through root canal that had I left any longer would have certainly needed removing. I would highly recommend Shoreham dentist to anyone, particularly those who suffer with anxiety or fear and as such have avoided the dentist. I am forever grateful to both Donya and Annalize for helping me conquer my fears and I am pleased to say that I am now completely at ease when visiting.

Fantastic experience: Excellent private dental care as usual. Car parking outside is good. One minor suggestion. I like to cycle whenever I can. The practice could do with a decent bike rack that fits adult bikes and can take a D-Lock through the bike frame and wheels. Maybe the council can be encouraged to provide good one (or two) a short walk away.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth capped - my first, so, I was a bit anxious!! Nothing to worry about - the whole process was explained perfectly - even during the process - which was brilliant and adequate rest/breather space allowed- as its quite a full on process. The entire process over two sittings - to initially prepare the tooth and the second sitting to place and adjust the capping, as necessary. Fantastic experience: It's impossible to rate this practice too highly. For 18 years a stubborn infection remained in my upper jaw despite attempts by various dentists to remove it. As a nervous patient I dreaded yet another series of treatments, but from the beginning Annelise and her team made every session painless and stress-free. The quality of imaging and the precision of every procedure was so impressive - this was dentistry on another level! I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work - definitely 6 stars out of 5!

We both see Donya and she is an absolute ray of sunshine, amazing at what she does and putting any nerves to rest. We have had everything clearly explained and the imaging really helps us visualise our dental health, and we are eternally thankful that we have her as our dentist now! I have also seen Amy for a hygienist appointment who was really good at explaining and offering some suggestions I didn't realise were available. We cannot recommend this wonderful practice enough! Negative experience: Very disappointed,I planned a visit to this dentist,went inside and waited but had to leave due to a family emergency then discovered to my dismay that I get a parking ticket in the post a week later from a cowboy parking company they use i am now £60 down due to this company,phoned them and they did not want to know,very dishonest and unfriendly dentist which I would avoid at all costs.
