Fantastic experience: I have been attending this dental practice for about 7 years, top marks for everyone, excellent service, friendly helpful reception staff. I would like to give a special mention to my wonderful dentist Alex Kirkwood and hygienist Stephanie Dickinson ⭐️ an all round great job.. I am going away abroad soon and went for a routine check up, I had been experiencing pain, due to gum recession and severe sensitivity, Alex made the time to carry out the work that was required at the check up appointment, rather than making me come back, and not getting the work done before my holiday, he also considered the most cost effective way to charge me for the treatment, I am so very grateful, thank you Alex, you are a star ⭐

Fantastic experience: This is the very first time I’ve ever left a review regarding dental treatment. My childhood experience going to the dentist was not good, in fact it made me very anxious. After May years of not going to a dentist, time finally caught up and now having to seek treatment. I was recommended to Parkview Dental Centre a few months ago and was introduced to Tom Bracewell and he is now looking after me. He has made me feel so relaxed and comfortable, and for the first time I’m looking forward to having my teeth treated by a wonderful team. Thank you Everyone at Parkview.

Fantastic experience: I came to Park View Dental Centre as I had a cracked tooth and was recommended the practice by some relatives. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time (6/7 years) due to having a bad experience at another practice and became extremely anxious to go. The receptionist I first spoke to was very kind and understanding and said Alex would be the best fit for me due to my anxiety. Since being a patient at Park View I have over come my fear of the dentist thanks to Alex, I have had a bridge fitted and repair done to a front tooth. Having my smile back has given me so much more confidence in myself. I could not recommend this practice enough!

Fantastic experience: I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Tom, the dentist who treated me today. Normally, I see Adam Hunter, my registered dentist on Denplan, who is an absolutely amazing dentist and has always provided exceptional care. Unfortunately, I developed excruciating pain in my wisdom tooth on Sunday and couldn’t sleep all night. First thing Monday morning, I called the practice at 8:30, and the kind and efficient receptionist booked me in with Tom. I was initially very anxious as I hadn’t met him before, but after reading about his background, I was already impressed and managed to gather the courage to go. Tom reviewed my previous X-ray and immediately identified that it was the same tooth that had troubled me last year. He explained, with great clarity and professionalism, that extraction was the wisest solution, as previously noted by Adam. He didn’t feel it was necessary to take another X-ray, which I appreciated, as his experience and expertise allowed him to confidently diagnose the issue as an infection beneath the crown that hadn’t healed due to the lack of a re-root canal. Despite my anxiety, Tom was incredibly patient, reassuring, and supportive throughout the entire process. He administered two injections to numb the area, and when I still felt some sensation, he calmly and efficiently gave another injection around the gum to ensure I was comfortable. His ability to explain every step of the procedure put me at ease. The actual extraction was unbelievably quick—less than a minute! However, I felt very lightheaded due to blood loss and experienced a sensation of floating or falling whenever I opened my eyes. Tom and the wonderful nurse, Julie, went above and beyond to take care of me. Julie kindly brought me a drink, and Tom stayed by my side, making sure I felt better before leaving. Tom even took the time to explain the aftercare instructions thoroughly to both my husband and me, ensuring we knew what to do in case of any emergencies. His attentiveness, empathy, and exceptional skill turned what could have been a daunting experience into a manageable one. Of course, I also want to mention my regular dentist, Adam Hunter. He has always been an incredible dentist, and I feel very lucky to be under his care as well. If all dentists were as compassionate and skilled as Tom and Adam, there would be no fear in addressing painful dental issues. I cannot recommend them and the entire Park View Dental team enough for their professionalism, kindness, and outstanding care. Kind Regards Sumaiyah

Fantastic experience: Always confident of a good experience with parkview most recently i had a tooth removed it was the first one for 50 years so a bit nervous but no need Adam advised and talked me through what was happening and when it was done gave me advice on looking after the mouth area for a few days, the reception staff are so nice aswell especially Debbie never to much trouble a very warming environment at all times

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic care, attention and kindness from Tom Bracewell getting a lot of work done, including a successful molar implant. A personable dentist and great communicator who made me feel, even with my 70 year old mouth that he wants the optimum outcome.

Fantastic experience: Johnny fixed my front snaggle tooth in no time at all. The man should be a sculptor not a dentist, that’s how talented he is. Also, I had my wisdom tooth removed here and the whole team was brilliant!

Fantastic experience: Arranging the dental appointment was very quick and simple, as was completing the preliminary health survey. On arrival I noticed that the reception staff were very friendly and relaxed. My appointment was very punctual and the dentist was skilful and very informative. He explained the payment options very clearly. He was quick and very efficient in replacing an old and cracked filling with a much better state-of-the-art alternative. I believe that I received excellent service all round and am delighted with my decision to sign up with Parkview.

Fantastic experience: I had an extraction as a result of an abcess in one of my molars. This had been scheduled for next week but Parkview fitted me in today without a second thought. Everything was explained carefully both before & during the procedure & I was given clear instructions on how to manage post procedure. I have nothing other than gratitude to the Dentist & his assistant for their care & attention. I have no difficulty in throughly recommending this practice who have looked after my dental care for a number of years.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from Parkview Dental Practice and I have to say that at the age of 66 and having been treated by many good dentists through the years, my experience of being treated by Alex is the best I've ever received, the pain I was in was just about bearable but Alex's professional and understanding manner really did put me at ease and now after the treatment the pain has gone. Thank you to Alex and his assistant, and thank you to Debbie and Leah for their professionalism and kindness in reception. Highly recommended 10/10

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient, and I had sedation following a tooth extraction and filling. The whole experience was exceptional and really catered to my needs. Jonny Gould and Clare Tyers were fantastic. I hadn’t visited the dentist in yeas and was really embarrassed, but the care and understanding was fantastic! I would recommend this practice to anyone who is extremely anxious! Great care

Fantastic experience: Received excellent dental treatment from Malgorzata on Tuesday 6th Feb 2024, most impressed with her attention to detail and the professional manner in which she explained and applied my subsequent treatment. I was initially impressed with the speed in which I was able to obtain an appointment and despite it causing no discomfort, it was pleasing to have the opportunity to get it addressed quickly. I have always experienced excellent customer care from the reception staff and despite the occasional change of personnel it does not seem to affect the quality of service. I will also add how well the dental team work in collaboration, as I equally receive fantastic support from Stephanie the dental hygienist who similarly is very meticulous in her practice and always provides helpful advice and encouragement. It is so welcome to be the recipient of such impressive holistic care and to observe and experience staff who value customer care and appear to enjoy their work!

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise this practice enough all the staff are friendly, helpful and kind. In particular Jonny Gould is a skillful, understanding and excellent dentist. I had to have some significant dental work undertaken and I was petrified of the procedure and cost. However with Jonny, this was planned carefully and sensitively with a pay each time option. I absolutely recommend this Dental Surgery.

Fantastic experience: A massive thank you for a life changing surgical removal carried out by Clare Tyers and her team. I cannot thank her enough for her patience, understanding and skill in removing my decayed and repeatedly infected lower wisdom tooth. It's a procedure I've put off for some years now due to a failed removal attempt in the past and had I seen Clare from the start I would have avoided years of pain and anxiety. Thank you so much - I cannot recommend Clare, the team and Parkview enough and wouldn't hesitate returning for any procedure.

Fantastic experience: Jonathan and Julie were great. Friendly, knowledgeable and Jonathan answered all of my questions in specific detail which I really appreciated. I was pretty nervous as I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time and I have only been used to NHS dentists. I cannot recommend this surgery enough. If you are hesitant to go private because of costs, don't be. It is worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: I went to Parkview Dental Centre to have implants fitted. Previously had 2 crowns due to meningitis as a baby. Thomas the dentist was excellent. Coping with my problems and gag reflex well. Well structured visits and I was kept in the loop at all times. I had the option of interest free payments, which I took. It isn't a cheap procedure. However, it is local and the treatment was 1st class. I would recommend them immediately for anyone considering implants to go there.

Fantastic experience: On a particularly busy day I was seen quickly by Alex, and his concern for my dental, and indeed overall health was exemplary. The complex treatment was undertaken quickly and painlessly, and I was kept fully informed at every stage. A huge thanks to everyone at Parkview and especially to Alex for sorting out what could have developed into a serious problem.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed for the service in Parkview dental surgery .I have bad experience in when my filling was done last time when I did attend .Last time without my consent was administered anesthetic witch course me life treating experience .And seems to be staff was not understand how serious is can be. All well another experience when I did call and cancel my appointment from the desk the lady did not cancel my appointment . They did send me letter and tried to charge me for appointment . I think this place required improvement.That is already to much for me I would not be coming to this dentist anymore.

Fantastic experience: I had my first check up and first hygienist there and the experience was really good. everyone treated well from entering to the park view till leaving, very polite and the team is really good. Fantastic experience: My troublesome tooth was a right pain in the gum! In fact, I was feeling right down in the mouth. So, it had to go and be replaced by a plastic phony lookalike which didn't sit comfortably with the rest of my teeth.... or me! In addition, sometimes whilst speaking I could hear a slight whistling sound coming from my mouth. Some of my words sounded distorted even slurred - and I'm completely teetotal! On more than one occasion whilst having a meal, the 'phony' nearly dropped out into my dinner just as I was about to clear my plate! I had to make my excuses to leave the room to do the necessary, albeit discreetly. How embarrassing! I consulted with Tom Bracewell who explained the drill - of having an implant, timeline and what he hoped to achieve. More importantly what I could expect. Straight away I was sold! No more strange sounds and no more embarrassing moments! The procedure was just as Tom advised and I have to say, save for a little discomfort, it was painless. The day finally arrived when my implant took centre stage amongst the old hangers on and drop-outs and after a little readjustment and last-minute honing skillfully carried out by Tom, my new implant made its debut. Perfectly aligned and looking completely natural I was stunned at the difference it made to my appearance. Tom had superbly molded it to blend with the natural shape and contour of my mouth and existing teeth. I was more than happy and definitely more confident. In fact, I couldn't stop smiling, especially at mealtimes! So the moral of my story? If you're feeling a little glum like I was, don't hesitate in getting an implant. Speak to Tom who will not only give you every encouragement but will restore your good looks as well as your confidence! I cannot speak more highly of Tom who should be named 'Maestro of Molars' for his dedication to this type of dentistry. Anyway, whatever his title, he needs to be awarded with more than a little plaque.... 'cos he's certainly the jewel in my crown! Thanks Tom. Lee A

Fantastic experience: Visited the practice on Tuesday and received excellent dental treatment from Ash and her helpful dental nurse. The required work needed removal of an old filling and simultaneous repair to the chipped tooth. Ash repaired the damage excellently and demonstrated both meticulous and professional care. The procedure was clearly not straight forward, however, I was regularly kept informed about how things were going and what steps needed to be undertaken. In addition to having very competent consultants the reception staff are extremely helpful and always provide excellent customer care. I periodically receive support and advice from the resident dental hygienist and have found Rachel’s interventions to be highly effective. Overall a great practice to be connected with and could not recommend it more highly.

Fantastic experience: As a nervous patient who has a history of avoiding the dentist at all costs, I have been really impressed with the treatment and service I have received at Parkview. Ash was very friendly and understanding, explaining everything she was doing and letting me take little breaks. Will now be coming for regular check ups without the nerves

Fantastic experience: Very helpful reception and a quick appointment. Mal was great! A gentle manner, a virtually pain free injection and a filling of a broken incisor that is hardly visible unless you look very closely. She and her nurse were friendly and quietly efficient. I couldn't have asked for better treatment.

Fantastic experience: Great first experience with a private dentist. After years of neglect by my NHS dentist, my teeth were falling apart a bit. Dr Mal was absolutely fantastic from day 1. I had a lot to get fixed, so was nervous about the cost, but Mal helped me figure out signing up to denplan to make things more affordable and designed my treatment plan based on only what I needed. First time ever to have needles and not feel it as the work was done so gently, I couldn’t believe it! Thank you for fixing my smile!

Made to feel welcome by the receptionists, good to see some restrictions are still in place and was given the option to wear a mask if worried about Covid 19. Fantastic experience: First class service. Parkview gave me an appointment and got me in within 2 hours of my phone call to sort a problem tooth. The Dentist, Tom, was very friendly and extremely professional with his approach and treatment. Fantastic experience: Lovely friendly reception team when booking appointment. Great Dentist assessed my teeth, cleaned them up and they looked great and offered me very helpful advice to help keep my teeth and gums healthy. Felt at ease due to covid-secure instructions being in place.

Fantastic experience: I booked this visit 7 weeks in advance and was required to pay a 50% deposit, as it was my first visit to the practice. I arrived on time but was kept waiting for 5-10 minutes in a very large, cold and draughty reception area (no doubt thus due to Covid precautions). The dentist I saw, Mr Adam Hunter, was straightforward, approachable and down-to-earth - and conservative in his approach to treatment - I have a tooth where treatment could plausibly have been advised, but Mr Hunter recommended that it be left as is for the time being. My kind of dentist! I was able to book my next check-up in 6 months without paying in advance, unlike another local practice I could name.

Wouldn't hesitate to have her remove any more in the future, the cost was £275, which I thought was enough. I also had to go to Bernes Street to have a special XRay which cost me another £55, I thought that was very expensive!

Fantastic experience: Spotlessly clean and spacious reception with pleasant reception staff. The dentist (Tom) was reassuring, listened to my concerns and did a very thorough examination with x-rays. Lovely patient manner and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Practice is always spotless. Chairs in reception are still wiped down after a patient has vacated the seat. You pay first so you can leave surgery straight away after treatment. Excellent dentists. Especially Mr Hunter the practice owner. I am quite nervous going to the dentist but after a few bad experiences elsewhere, I find it a relief to be in safe hands. Dental receptionists and nurses are lovely . Always polite and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Parkview Detail Centre since I was a child (when it was based down the road). Even though they have stopped treating patients on the NHS, I remained with them, as did my children because the service is excellent. My husband was very frustrated with having his appointments cancelled at his surgery and now he is registered at Parkview too. Our dentist, Tom, who is new to the practice is friendly and professional, as is Steph, the hygienist. The nurses and reception team are also lovely. I get email and text reminders well in advance of my appointments with forms sent in good time to ensure they are aware of any changes to your health. The centre is airy, scrupulously clean and all Covid precautions are taken. I recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Alex was top draw ....... I hadent been to the dentist for about 15 yrs and suddenly had my tooth break and was is pain. I get very nervous when seeing a dentist hence not going for such a long time. However Alex was fantastic put me at ease and explained everything he was doing. No more pain and will go again in another 15 years.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Parkview Dental Centre since they opened and have been treated by several of their dentists in the practice. I have never had a problem with any of them and when I’ve needed an urgent appointment I have always been seen within a day or two. Andreea is my usual dentist at the practice and yesterday she took one of my back teeth out which had become loose and I hardly felt it !
