Negative experience: I register with this dental practice for 7 years and all of sudden they took me off and give me 2 different reasons that I have missed my appointments which I never and other reason im not active patient so thats why they took me off if there is a 0 star rating I would love to give them as they deserve that money matters humanity their foot

Fantastic experience: Yesterday was my first visit to the practice and I was very impressed right across the board. Everybody was so friendly and helpful from reception staff , dental nurses and the dentist herself was lovely. I didn’t feel rushed and she was very thorough in her examination of my teeth and gums giving me options regarding what needs to be done . She also took the time to have a little chat with me about my work and what my day had in store . Whilst I was waiting in the waiting room a lovely older lady came in and when the dental nurse called her to go to see the dentist she was just so nice with her , greeted her with a lovely smile and to maintain eye contact with the lady the nurse walked backwards and confined her conversation and then as the lady was not great on her feet she offered to take her bag and she walked behind her up the stairs . To sum up it was just so nice to see everybody greeted with a smile , and just being friendly and nice and also very professional, which can be rare these days .

Fantastic experience: I hadn't visited a dentist in about six or seven years, so I had a lot of plaque build-up and a small case of gum disease. One of the practitioners, Esha, was fantastic. Cleaned everything up and helped get my teeth back to feeling solid. After three visits over the past year, my teeth are holding strong and the sensitivity in my gums is fully gone. Highly recommend Esha for anyone looking for an exceptional dentist!

Negative experience: Unsatisfactory emergency appointment today. They dont care about patients, only money. I was told to pay today and to pay again next week with a new appointment because there was no time for treatment today. So why did they give me appointment if they dont have time for treatment?

Positive experience: My first check up at EDC. Staff polite and helpful. My 9.15 appointment began somewhat late due to overrun of previous patient. Dr. Esha gave me a thorough examination of my teeth and gums followed by X-ray and explanation of suggested treatment. Thanks also to Magda the dental nurse.

Negative experience: Wouldn’t recommend this place they have ruined my teeth by incorrectly putting filling in teeth that did not need fillings. My teeth have turned grey and have chronic pain. My teeth will never be the same again.

I had mixed experiences with dentists before, so I was nervous when I went to the Centre. I have attended 3 times now, and each time I have received excellent dental treatment. I am very fortunate to have Dr. Jannat Mohammad as my dentist. She was very thorough in examining me and devising a treatment plan. The fillings she has done have relieved me of a lot of discomfort and pain. She has patiently answered all my queries and even called me back to explain things I was not clear about the first time. She is a gentle, compassionate, and excellent dentist. The reception staff (in particular, Azeem and Sharan) are very courteous, helpful and professional. They were very helpful when I requested my dental records from the first consultation. It has been a pleasure to interact with them. All in all, I am very happy with the Dental Centre. Given the variable quality of dentists out there, I feel very fortunate in receiving dental care from the Edgbaston Dental Centre. Dr. Ashok Patnaik

Negative experience: I had booked an emergency appointment couple of days ago. Mine was Dr Alisha. I was in a lot of pain and found her to be extremely over energetic and loud and it was hard to match her energy. Ofcourse as i was unwell I was already feeling down Also she guided me and from what i understood that she was going to begin the first session of my root canal treatment. However, when the pain returned in the next couple of days and saw another one. Then i found out that she hadn't actually done anything and charged me 180 pounds!!!!! I wouldn't recommend her to anyone Poor communication and total RIP OFF

Negative experience: I was a private patient for years and switched to NHS while pregnant. I was unable to make my first appointment and called the practice to see if I could get one later in the day which we couldnt find. According to their policy any missed 1st appointment you aren't able to see the dentist EVER. This is the most horrible policy and treatment of a pregnant patient I have ever seen in my life. Lived in numerous countries and never have I ever seen or heard anything like this. Having been to this practice as a private patient over the years with no issues to have them disregard me like this at such a vulnerable time is disgusting and appalling.
