Fantastic experience: Very impressed. The ladies recognised that I have some issues that make dental work hard for me and they were very calm and and even managed to do both my fillings without any injections, which is a lifetime first. At other dentists I went to they recognised me and had injections prepared for jobs as small as cleaning, but this dentist was great, there was very little pain, just a twinge at the end really. And, although they probably couldn't tell, it was the least tense experience I've ever had in a dental chair. My kids also go here and they loved it.

Fantastic experience: Today I was unfortunate enough for one of my front teeth to decide to split in half. With my own dental practice unable to help and it being a Friday they could fit me in on Monday. So I contact nhs 111 who passed my details to Allen House Dental Ipswich and within 20 minutes I received a phone call from Allen House a lovely lady took all my details and history before arranging to have me seen within 20 mins. Now that is some service!!! When I arrived the reception staff were very friendly and welcoming and soon had me booked in. The service I received was first class and a wonderful dentist who I believe was Dr Leena Joseph made me feel at ease and relived me of my problem . I cannot rate this practice any higher and hope to transfer my dental services to them on a permanent basis in the near future. Thanks for making it possible to smile this weekend.

Fantastic experience: I called NHS 111 today, who got me in touch. I got an emergency appointment within 90 minutes. I was in, seen, x-rayed, numbed up, and had a tooth extraction within 20 minutes. Amazing staff, understanding dentist and impeccable service. Thanks for removing the pain, I am forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: Pleased with the NHS check up at Allen House Dental Ipswich recently .I would recommend getting registered with them .

Negative experience: Turned up ahead of time for my private appointment, for which I had paid a deposit. After being left in the waiting room for 30minutes past my appointment, was told that the consultant was in surgery and wasn't sure when it would be finished. As I was not able to wait indefinitely, I had to leave without getting my appointment. As I'd travelled 40minutes to get there, the overall experience cost me almost 3hrs of my day, and I didn't have my consultation. Refund was offered and was taken. Practice needs to do better when running late to communicate with customers, especially when the know they're running materially late. I will take my business elsewhere, I don't have the time to spend waiting to be seen. Very poor.

Negative experience: had an appointment at 9.15 on the 11/1/25, was at dentist at 9am, nobody their, waited till 9.20 knox on door nobody, left a phone message dentist phoned me back at 9.36 stating that dentist was open called myself a lier that I wasn't at dentist at 9.15, then kicked me off the dentist list, poor service and totally disgusting

My dentist Sophie is absolutely fantastic!! she always explains everything to me & talks me through everything she is doing & gives fantastic educational tips & advice.. very kind, caring & patient. I am what you call a nervous patient but I feel calm & reassured under her care & always pain free visits. I would highly recommend Allen House Dental, Ipswich!

Helpful advice, takes the time to explain dental care and results and has a really nice comforting nature. It all adds to a less stressful experience than others I have experienced in the past. If going to the dentist can ever be considered a nice experience then Allen House does just that.

Fantastic experience: Following initial check was referred to bridge house for extraction of broken molar. The only thing I can say is that if you have a difficult extraction this is the place to go. After a few shots of novacain the broken tooth was out in one piece in under 10 seconds.. all while catching up on sports news on the ceiling mounted flat screen... 10/10. On return to Allen House the following Tues had the small matter of a mid size cavity filled to the same high standard. Would recommend both practices.
