Fantastic experience: Yesterday I visited Dental Beauty to have a dental implant carried out on my front tooth. I was very scared and nervous about the whole procedure but Amit and Alison made me feel so calm and relaxed throughout the whole appointment. The pain was minimal and they talked me through it making me feel so reassured. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I visited the dentist last Friday evening , i had to attend for a filling with my dentist Dr Amy Gandecha , i must say i was extremely nervous as its been a few years since I’ve had to have any treatment . Both Amy and her nurse put me at ease from the moment i entered the surgery. I must say , i felt no pain or discomfort at all , she explained my treatment to me fully at each stage and reassured me . Thank you Amy , your an excellent dentist Praise and thanks goes to all staff at Brickfields efficient , professional and friendly.

Negative experience: This is a complete lie ! "We spoke to you on the phone to try to alleviate your concerns and explain this change in guidance since your visit in 2017, however we were not able to continue the conversation due to your antagonistic nature towards our female team member" I simply pointed I had edited a previous review because of a grammar mistake, the lady stated ranting that they had no record of our attendance so I told her this was an old review and its a shame they didn't show any concern then. Took my 13 year old son for his first filling explained my concern with filling his mouth with mercury at a young age and was told white filling only available on private and it would cost £85 .... took him to another NHS dentist in Chelmsford explained the same and she told no problem you have a choice on the NHS. Seems to me it's all about £ at Brickfields

Negative experience: What has happened to our local dentist? It used to be an actual dentist but has now become a beauty salon. Treatments have gone up considerably in price and the focus is on Botox and wrinkles. Joanne is a walking advertisement, knows the (over) price of everything. We have to use this dentist as there are no other alternatives in the area that are accepting new patients. The place is not even called a dentist anymore, Woodham beauty, cosmetic clinic, Botox centre, facials and altering your face hub. Filling in the forms for an appointment go on and on about altering your appearance and whether you think you look good. A dentist should be a dentist and cater to your teeth as advertised, not be cashing in on your insecurities and making money on looks. A filling or composite used to be affordable but this place has become all about the money. We can’t all afford your extortionate prices. I can beg you to go back to what you used to do best but I know I’ll be ignored and have to suck it up because there is no choice. Very disappointed and I feel a lot of people will agree because you’ve priced us out of affordable basic dental treatment. We will be the ones who suffer because the services you offer now aren’t cost effective and our oral health will come second to other bills that need to be paid.

My dentist Johana is so thorough, so sweet and friendly, and every time I have visited I walk away smiling! She is so patient with me and answers my 1 million questions every time. Feel so lucky to have found them. I recently moved to the area and was so nervous about finding a new practice. I did a little research and thought I’d take a chance, and I am so glad I did. Having followed their advice my gum health has improved together with the condition of my teeth. I would recommend them to anyone but especially those concerned about visiting a dentist.

Fantastic experience: Have been coming here as a family for many years, visiting the dentist and hygienist. We are very happy with our treatment and the team are very good with children. Also when I needed to see the dentist for a particular pain issue, I was seen very quickly which was much appreciated. All of the staff are very helpful and reassuring. The fish tank is lovely too.

Negative experience: No access for prams or wheels chairs. No options available to those who need to access the surgery with either a wheelchair or pram. The answer leave the pram or wheelchair under the stairs and walk/carry up the stairs. Wonder where babies should be left once carried up. Reply to below. Iv been registered with you long before my circumstances changed. As the manager of a medical facility I’m sure your aware peoples circumstances change. As discussed with you over the phone this morning after you called me about the review. It’s very fair. It’s an honest review and it’s allowing those in a position who cannot get upstairs for what ever reason to go elsewhere. I never once said anything about the medical team. As a medical care provider your location should be accessible to all. As stated above people’s circumstances can change overnight you never know what others are dealing with. When people register with you and book appointments with you, you do not make it clear your up two flights of stairs with lift. During my past appointments I have not needed any assistance. Unfortunately, on this occasion I did and it wasn’t available. Even the dentist and the assistant was shocked no help was offered. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Hi. After 60+ years of visiting dentists-a lot for the first time ever I had an almost enjoyable filling appointment with my dentist. With three fillings to do, my biggest worry at the dentist is the numbing injections. Don’t like needles in my gums, really painful. Anyway this week for the first time ever had 3 fillings. Dentist was brilliant, didn’t feel anything when she was injecting my gums, was very quick and I was out of there in record time. Can’t praise her enough for her care. Thankyou. Martin

Fantastic experience: Such a positive experience - ive just finished a treatment plan following tooth ache and subsequent need for a tooth extraction where I decide to follow up with an implant replacement . Cannot fault the care and consideration taken during the whole treatment plan of my first ever implant . Every step explained and for me an astoundingly painfree successful process. Technical advances too help dentistry become a less worrying occurence . As I am new to cosmetic treatments I asked about the success of teeth whitening even on older teeth- this was entirely possible with video camera used in 3D round teeth used to enable creation of custom whitening trays ( no mouth full of expanding foam any longer) all giving ability at home to get great natural results that are now easy to maintain at home. Dr. Amit is skilled and professional and has a great team who give you all the confidence needed to create and maintain a great smile for so many reasons . I was made to feel very comfortable and happy with all choices, outcomes and followups explained by Dr Amit and the reception team who are also integral to Brickfields Dental practice and on hand for advice. So glad I followed this path to maintain infact improve my smile as I age.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been an NHS patient at Brickfields for years. They have never disappointed me. Even understanding me in the early days if at the last minute, sitting on the dentist chair of doom, I backed out! They understood my fear. My first NHS dentist wasPriah, my teeth were a mess - Her kindness and understanding of such a nervous patient was so appreciated. Then there was the gorgeous Ricky with the perfect teeth - He did al 1st class job on my elderly rotting teeth. Many months of dedicated work from Ricky, I had the biggest brightest smile Now, after a long hiatus, Joanne is my Dentist 2024. Thank you for today, you pulled that ailing tooth so gently and I so appreciated it ❤️ Joanne, I’m so looking forward to my new lower gnashers - I know I’m in good hands. ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have been very hesitant about having any aesthetic work done, but thought about it a lot and did some research. My main concern was the training, as I heard so many horror stories and looked at many peoples work, some really were so overdone. All I wanted was to take those horrid aging lines away! I finally plucked up the courage and spoke to Amrit, one of the dentist at the practice, she really put all my fears at rest and booked an appointment for the following week. The procedures took about an hour, a little discomfort but was bearable. Both Amrit and her dental nurse Evanglein made me feel very relaxed. Then a week of bruising, but once that had gone things settled so quickly and WOW, I honestly feel so much happier now, I dont see all those deep lines, just more subtle ones and it all looks natural which was my end goal !

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Nikita at Brickfields enough. I was referred by my dentist as my gums were in poor health. I am terrified of the dentist and while the initial deep cleans were not pleasant Nikita supported me through the process. She explained all the steps very clearly. She encouraged me and helped me to manage my fear. She also pointed out that I should change my blood pressure tablets as they were not helping with my gum health. Admin and appointment management is also good and reception staff are friendly.

I have a big fear of dentists, and as a new patient brickfields have helped me with my anxiety around dental treatment and informed of services I have never heard of under other surgeries such as sedation. Fantastic experience: An excellent dental practice with amazing staff. I can’t say enough good things about the practice. If you’re a new patient try and get Dr Amit Patel, he’s my dentist and what a dentist he is and he’s an amazing person he is too. I’m updating my review. I’ve been unhappy with my teeth for quite awhile, years in fact. I made an appointment to see the best dentist ever, Amit Patel. Amit (because I’m on first name terms with him now) explained every option available to improve my teeth. The process I selected was a short three month process which included Veneers, a crown and whitening my teeth. I can’t tell you how happy I am with the results. If you are thinking of having your teeth reshaped and whitened stop thinking about it and do it, it’ll be one of the best things you’ll ever do more so if Amit does the work. I haven’t stopped smiling since Amit took my teeth from looking like a burnt fence and turned my teeth in to a newly installed and painted white fence. Thanks Amit, you’re an absolute legend.

Fantastic experience: I’m pretty sure that, like most people, a visit to the dentist is not one of my favourite things to do. Especially when you know work needs to be done. However, the many years I have been to Brickfields Dental Care, I can honestly say that the experience is quite exceptional. This visit was for a very old cracked filling. Whilst there was some unknown in what was fully required to be done, you are guided through what will happen, make sure you are fully prepared and can ask questions, make sure the area to be worked on is anaesthetised properly and a new device to work only on the affected tooth and stop the constant need for swallowing ! What also is pretty unique in my experience is that the whole time the procedure is happening, there is constant feedback as to what is happening. Suddenly, a camera is taking pictures ! ….and at the end a full review of what has taken place, with before and after images. What an experience. Thank you Brickfields Dental Team.

Fantastic experience: I have just received treatment. I’ve just received treatment from Dr Apple and Nurse Evangeline . It’s fair to say that I’m an extremely nervous patient. But honestly I cannot stress enough how amazing these two ladies were with dealing with my nerves at the same time as dealing with the task at hand. It’s fair to say that I think my nerves are ingrained and always will be with me. But knowing how fantastic the care is here it will somewhat make my stress levels easier to cope with. Negative experience: They always cancel dental appointments so you constantly keep having to rebook your appointments . I’m sure If I paid to go private it wouldn’t be the case !

From reception through to the surgeries the welcome is warm and friendly, and all treatments are excellent quality and efficient. I would recommend Brickfields without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Always great, professional service at Brickfields. I started going to this practice (even though they were not local to me at the time) during the latter part of the pandemic with a large cavity in my tooth after struggling to find an NHS dentist that was accepting patients and other practices constantly trying to force you into private work. Brickfields was more than happy to take me on as an NHS patient, but they are flexible with treatment options, meaning you can stick with NHS prices for most things, or opt to pay for treatments privately if they are not offered under NHS. There is never any pressure to go for the more expensive option either and your choices are clearly explained to you. My only gripe is that I’ve had the occasional appointment cancelled without explanation (other than an automated text) but this has been a rare occurrence.

Negative experience: Appalling customer service if I’m honest. I’ve been left in pain and unable to find another NHS dentist. I’ve tried emailing but had no response for over 2 weeks so I’m assuming I’m being ignored. Would not recommend to anyone. I’m also not one to write a bad review at all, however after having no response via email I don’t believe this is the right way to treat people.

Fantastic experience: I have always received an excellent service from Brickfields Dental Care. The receptionists are always welcoming and efficient. My teeth feel lovely when they’ve been cleaned by the hygienists. I am truly delighted with the dental treatment I have had by Amit and the dental staff. Fantastic experience: I am a complex case with a lot of dental and jaw issues (Bruxism, clenching, grinding and biting down on my teeth in my sleep, to the extent that I have fractured and broken teeth), I'm a very anxious person and going to the dentist has always been a very difficult thing for me. However, the care that I have received here, is second to none. Everything about the experience I've had in going to this dental practice has been amazing, and I genuinely cannot thank everyone that works there enough. They have listened to the problems that I have, assured me as best as they could, and do everything in their power to make the appointments and treatment as comfortable and effective as possible. To the extent that I could never imagine myself going to another dental practitioners. Be assured that if you're going to this dental clinic, you will be recieving the most professional dentistry treatment possible. They will make sure that (if you're like me, very anxious etc) you are comfortable and getting the correct treatment, relative to whatever problems you are experiencing with your teeth. I cannot recommend them enough!
