The dentist he saw was friendly, calm and made the visit quick and easy especially for a little boy who isn't a fan of brushing his teeth or sitting still. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Every time I visit I feel at ease Sonal Patel makes me feel comfortable, she's very proficient. Every time I have had work done it is quick and painless, I also saw the hygienist which made me feel comfortable and explained things very well.

Fantastic experience: My youngest son (age 6) had an extraction at this surgery today. The dentist was kind, caring and talked to him gently the whole way through, making him relaxed and at ease. She even asked if I was ok !!!! My whole family are at this dentist and we have always been happy with the care and customer service. I would definitely recommend it especially for young children.

Fantastic experience: Very professional service, this was for a troublesome tooth removal and the process went smooth and painless.

Fantastic experience: Visited to have a tooth checked out that had suffered a large bit coming off the week previously. After a quick inspection an x-ray was taken and the dentist went through what could be seen and my options. No pressure and a pleasant visit. Recent follow-up to take a mould of the tooth for a crown went well aside from some pain when cleaning up the broken tooth, hopefully this is expected. Crown fitted very smoothly - I mentioned that I was doing a training course at home and they were fine with that and after fitting I am to wait a week to see how it goes - so far it feels a little strange but something to get used to. :-) very pleased so far. *** Update ** Several months later and crown still fine - no pain or movement at all. A recent visit showed no need for any work so that's good. Staff friendly and willing to advise. ** Update 2 ** A smooth checkup and session with the hygienist. Slight crack on side of two teeth spotted, cleaned and patched - they did both to save on a return visit. Again a pleasant (as can be expected :-) ) visit. ** Update 3 ** I only remembered my appointment as I was cycling past! 10mins late but the hygienist was able to fit in a thorough clean and then a wait for the dentist who took xrays to check that the teeth were OK. I reported a little sensitivity but nothing serious. All in all another pleasant experience. ** Update 4 ** I didn't forget this time but ended up waiting a bit as the early morning traffic delayed my dentist. Checkup and hygienist appointment all in one went well, nothing untoward and plenty of advice re brushing and gums. Once again friendly staff and a pleasant visit.

Negative experience: This morning’s experience at Broadwater Dental Clinic was a particularly unpleasant experience for both my son and me. We have been using this practice for many years but were treated unpleasantly and aggressively. I was threatened with a fine and we were both refused treatment because l didn’t remember either my or my son’s National Insurance numbers. The practice is in possession of both of these so the request was totally unexpected and unnecessary. It is difficult for us to travel to and from the surgery, l am lame and my son has Learning Difficulties. The practice is aware of these problems We were both left traumatised by the event through no fault of our own and l feel that l can no longer recommend or support this practice and would advise others to beware.

Fantastic experience: Have been using this dentist for a long time. Lovely reception. Always able to see me and give great treatment where needed. Always give advice of what would be best or even give choices.

Fantastic experience: We go there every 6 months for checkups and every time we are greeted with kindness and professionalism. The staff is very patient and attentive with the little ones, and the atmosphere is calm and friendly. We feel safe and well taken care of every time. I highly recommend!

Positive experience: Very friendly reception staff and Hygienist. There were no nurses present. I felt the procedure was quite uncomfortable, particularly pulling the sides of my mouth and using the suction instrument, which he had to do as there was no nurse to assist. Haven't felt that level of discomfort before. Generally, would recommend this dental practice.

Positive experience: As a dental practice they are absolutely fine, however, I have been waiting since December for an x-ray on my wisdom teeth, which I was referred to the NHS to get done. I was told it was a 3 week wait, however it's now been over 9. I have been told it's out of their hands as all they can do is refer to the NHS and then it's up to them as to when they see me. I get that there isn't anything they can do, however, I wish they didn't say they can offer this service, as they aren't able to deliver within the timeframe (or even close within the timeframe) they said they could get it done by.

Negative experience: Poor service. Has Deteriorated over the years since the head dentist retired. Don't always give the best service for what you pay for. And speaking of paying, how's about you collate payments instead of individually! Follow up call today on why I gave 1 star. But I did forget to mention that the last time we came for our appointment all 5 were cancelled on the day without letting us know. And after 1 of us had an opp you badly cut open the gum.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a simple filling, but it turned out that I needed root canal treatment. The dentist was really professional and explained everything well. There was no pain or discomfort during the procedure but there was a little ache after the numbness had gone. That didn’t last long. Very happy with the service and the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Always receive a professional service. Never had any major dental needs so can't comment on that, but my routine check ups are thorough and informative. Most recently I went with concerns of a cracked tooth - they x-rayed my mouth and did various tests before explaining why I was experiencing pain. Overall, I think they are very good!
