Fantastic experience: Brilliant practice wonderful staff and Dr Tocca is AMAZING reception staff very friendly and overall I’d say an exceptional practice . I’ve never encountered anything other than staff who really treat their patients well . I used to be petrified of going to the dentist until I found this amazing place . Fantastic experience: After doing lots of research of local practices for composite bonding, I decided to visit Dr Margariti for treatment and Im so glad I did. I am absolutely over the moon with my results and she really understood exactly what I wanted to achieve with my new smile! A real perfectionist and amazing at what she does! The receptionist and nurses were also friendly, approachable and super helpful with any queries I had along the way. Fantastic experience: I visited Lighthouse Dental Practice today and was genuinely impressed by the level of care and attention to detail. During my check-up, I shared my concerns, and the dentist took the time to clearly explain all the available options. I then saw the hygienist, who was fantastic—very thorough and answered all of my questions. The whole practice has a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere. I’m really happy to now be on a dental plan with them!

Positive experience: I had back to back hygienist and dental appointments booked. My hygienist appt experience was 5* in all aspects however when I came out I was told by the receptionist there was a problem with my dental appt - they had not ordered in the correct colour composite to carry out the planned work. Going to this dental practice is a 40 mile round trip for me so having to rebook and do a further trip is really disappointing and inconvenient. I would have expected the practice to have systems in place to prevent this kind of mistake. I received a brief apology but no real acknowledgement of the impact of their mistake on me the paying customer.

Positive experience: A really great dentist. They have caring and friendly staff. A calm and modern atmosphere. I also like that they have an online booking system as well as over the phone and in person options. They also sometimes have a dog who sits behind reception and if you ask will let you pet him if you find going to the dentist stressfull.

Fantastic experience: I was extreamly nervous and anxious about having a deep filling. I soon calmed down a little and was apprehensive what was happening. Dr tocca did a great job with no pain and he was very sympathetic. I actually look forward to going back for 2 more treatments to finish work on my teeth. thankyou so much.

Fantastic experience: Initially I came to this practice as I had lost a filling on a front tooth. As I was new to the area I was a little apprehensive as to which dentist to choose, so I Googled "best dentist in Ipswich" and the lighthouse practice came up. I have not been disappointed. All the staff made me feel comfortable and valued. The treatment I've received (by hygienist Summer Halfhide and Dr Toca) has been outstanding. Treatments are explained clearly . Appointments are available quickly and at a convenient time/date for me. I highly recommend the Lighthouse dental practice.

Positive experience: I was a new patient today, so had the New Patient Examination. Dr Tocca listened to my concerns and my expectations of dentistry in general. He then took X-rays a baseline and did an examination of my mouth. He then explained his findings thoroughly and we talked about DenPlan options etc. All very good. The premises feel clean and professional - and the receptionist and dental nurse very pleasant. I feel more than happy to go back to this practice. I don't feel they will do things that don't necessarily need to be done. More of a 'if it's not broken it doesnt need fixing' approach. Which I appreciate.

Fantastic experience: As always a timely, friendly, caring, and professional visit to The Lighthouse Dental team in Ipswich. I’ve been receiving treatment from Jade on and off since January for a dental infection and separate cracked tooth. I was referred for extraction for the severely cracked tooth, and the root canal treatment is going well. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful. I’d happily recommend Jade and the Lighthouse team to anyone needing dental work.

Fantastic experience: Lovely dentists, my daughter has social anxiety but she loves it here and the dentist is so kind and gentle with her and you can tell she really cares. It's never really hard to arrange appointments and they give you plenty of reminders I find that useful with a busy life. My daughter knocked her tooth out on her scooter and they had her in a couple of hours later and took the best care of her not just that day but follow up appointments after. They treat parents respectfully and make sure you are informed and upto date on your childs dental care at the appointment. I highly recommend this place. Also light clean and friendly environment.

Fantastic experience: I had my 1st appointment with Dr Tocca on Saturday and as a patient with a dental phobia Dr Tocca and the lovely nurse were absolutely fantastic, I did not feel rushed and Dr Tocca made sure he explained everything to me really well and put me at complete ease. I have suffered with extreme anxiety (shaking with fear)..after 2 years of regular visits, one extraction, 2 fillings with Dr Tocca and his team, I have overcome my fear at last. Dr Tocca is calm, explains everything, nothing is rushed, questions are answered and at last I feel almost relaxed and normal when I visit the dentist !!! Fantastic experience: I went to this dental practice and I ended up getting upset because I have really bad anxiety but as soon as I walked in, the receptionist was really nice and reassuring and asked if I was ok. She also came and had a chat with me and my mum and was just really lovely. Then I had my appointment with Jade and she was really nice. She gave me a hug and let me go in when I was ready. She was explaining everything she was doing and was very friendly and caring aswell as empathetic towards me and my fear of the dentist. She even let me choose some music to play while I was having my check up. She checked my mouth thoroughly and took her time and she was gentle. I have another appointment soon and I’m feeling good about going thanks to the lovely people I met today and I’m very happy with my experience here so thank you to everyone I met today

From the moment I walked through the door, everyone was genuinely warm and welcoming. Dr. Tocca immediately put me at ease during my initial consultation, and for the first time in a long while, I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment.

Positive experience: I've appreciated my received dental treatments at this practice and the amicable, courteous approach of reception staff, in particular Hannah Taghdi. Dr Tocca has conscientiously carried out my dental restorations, including promptly rectifying any arising imperfections. He has taken time to patiently answer my questions about treatments and tooth care - as has the similarly approachable Dental Hygienist Summer Halfhide when providing considerate hygiene care. However, I personally find the provided "Statements of Account" (comprising payments & debits for treatments) & their layout rather confusing & not as transparent as they perhaps could be for patients untrained in bookkeeping or accounts (compare the simpler formats issued by banks & many utility companies to their customers).

This is the first time I've had a filling whereby I didn't feel any sort of discomfort. Came away feeling positive and confident in his workmanship. Fantastic experience: I went to Lighthouse Dental Practice to have Composite Bonding done by Andrea, my sister recommended it here as she went to Andrea 5 years ago for it and she absolutely loves hers. I am getting married this year and I have always been insecure about my front teeth and how they were all different lengths so I went for a consultation and Andrea advised me what she could do and made me feel at ease straight away. I had 8 teeth done and it took around 2.5 hours but the whole experience was lovely, from walking into the practice and how Andrea took her time with me and recommend what was best for me, to the moment I left with the smile I had always wanted! I couldn’t recommend Lighthouse Dental Practice highly enough and especially Andrea, she is amazing at what she does! Thank you so much!!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had an appointment with Jade today. She was quite worried and both Jade and her colleague were friendly and helpful. They put her at ease and fully explained a procedure that they would like to carry out in a few weeks. Jade was very understanding regarding my daughter’s fears. Receptionist also very friendly. Fantastic experience: As with most people I dislike visits to the dentist immensely, especially if having treatment. Today I had to have a filling replaced and a crack repaired. I did not feel a thing, not even the injection. Dr Tocca made me feel comfortable and explained everything that was going to happen. The best dentist I have ever seen! Totally recommended!!

Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience with Lighthouse Dental Practice. Despite having a written treatment plan and already undergoing two out of four scheduled appointments, my treatment was suddenly denied just two days before my crown preparation appointment. The dentist changed his mind about the zirconia crown option and, instead of offering me any alternative, insisted that my only choice was a gold crown - something that was neither quoted for nor agreed upon in advance. When I questioned this, they simply told me to "seek help elsewhere" rather than providing a solution. Throughout my experience, I encountered conflicting advice from different dentists working at this practice, administrative errors, and a lack of transparency regarding costs and policies. Miscommunications, incorrect quotes, and failure to provide essential documentation in a timely manner caused unnecessary stress and delays in my treatment. After wasting both time and money, I was forced to start over with another provider. I would not recommend this practice to anyone seeking reliable and professional dental care.

Fantastic experience: Was given an emergency appointment yesterday as my crown had broken and I was too embarrassed to leave the house - Dr Tocca performed miracles and fixed a temporary one so that I could have my life back! He did an incredible job and I am beyond grateful to him - Lighthouse Dental Practice are without a doubt, in a league of their own!

Positive experience: I’m always happy with the staff and efficiency. But on this occasion the dentist could not find the course of my pain . So I am still in pain .

Fantastic experience: I've been using Lighthouse for many years now and the only word that springs to mind is "excellent" and that's in every respect. From the moment I walk in the door everything is just as it should be, friendly and knowledgeable staff, both at reception and in the surgery.

Positive experience: Despite my being late as unable to pay for car park , I was greeted by all the staff and my husband was seen anyway. We had problems getting x rays donewe weren’t hurried. The receptionist ( sorry forgot her name ) was lovely and tried hard to help me make a payment at the Car Park. When that failed , and her shift had finished she accompanied us to the car park and payment was successfully made. That was above & beyond and deserves a special mention. Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: As someone who hadn't been to the dentist for many years due to an irrational fear, I searched for a dentist who would be able to get me back on track. From my first appointment with Dr Tocca and subsequent visits to the hygienists, everyone has been understanding and respectful of my fear. I am now in a position where i go to appointments without concern and don't cancel to put them off. At my visit this week, I was introduced to Paddington (the dog!)... he is a gorgeous and welcoming gentle giant.
