Fantastic experience: My appointment today at Pear tree dental today was with the hygienist. As like any other visit it was very good and educational. Lee-Ann and her assistant (sorry I can't remember her name) were lovely, very kind and helpful with a lot of knowledge, not just about gums, but also other healthcare areas which also affect gums and teeth which I was unaware of! I Would highly recommend The Pear Tree Dental practice. Thank you Denise

Negative experience: About 1 and half year ago they had opening for NHS clients, I wrote them email,no answer,then I went there in person, so the receptionist confirmed I was on the waiting list...still waiting...though soon there won't be any teeth left to show them haha

Javaad Mirza is a wonderful dentist, after years of bad experiences with dentists I am now able to attend the dentist with no anxieties and he has given me back my smile which has been missing for years.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited the Pear Tree Dental Centre. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly. The clinic looks well cared for with a pleasant atmosphere —exactly what you need when you have a dental appointment. Javaad Mirza, who is one of the Principal Dentists, took the time to explain the procedures he proposed, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. His attention to detail and professional approach were quite refreshing. Whether you're going in for a routine check-up or something more complex, I would certainly recommend the Pear Tree Dental Centre and Javaad Mirza. He has a friendly manner and a good knowledge of a range of solutions with up-to-date modern equipment.

Negative experience: Been a patient here for more than a decade. They suddenly dropped it on me that I'm no longer an NHS patient and that my options are to go private or join the waitlist. They cancelled my upcoming appointment and still haven't got back in touch, despite me ringing and asking twice to speak to my dentist.

I attended PearTree Dental practice for a check up and had good and clear explanation for short, medium and long term care. The Initial work that was identified was completed within a week. As it was on one of my front teeth it was challenging but great result and the tooth is much better. Really good results following expert treatment. I would recommend the practice for positive welcome, great care and responsive service.

Fantastic experience: Having recently attending the peartree dental surgery to have a tooth cap replaced I was greeted by Javaad Mirza who couldn't have been more friendly and knowledgeable in relation to what needed doing. He carried out a full mouth scan with an hand held scanner which sent this to his laptop in order for a new cap to be made. Having asked Javaad if I could take a photo of his screen image he replied I can do better than that I'll give you the link to the 3D image website so I can look around my teeth till my hearts content. The new cap arrived in days and fitted perfectly without any messing about. All I can say is well done Javaad it was like having a mate working on my teeth, thanks Ken Birch.

Fantastic experience: Visited Pear Tree Dental practice today for my 6 monthly check up and hygienist treatment from Jade Traore. Jade is a lovely young lady. Very calm, patient and explains everything clearly. She also listened when I suggested that I wanted a slight change to my treatment regime and came up with an acceptable compromise. Thank you Jade.

Fantastic experience: I got an abscess above an old capped tooth and Rav treated me incredibly well. Prescribing antibiotics to start getting rid of the abscess then fit me in before my holiday for an extraction. Which was not an easy one. Can’t recommend him and his team enough, they are kind and gentle but very professional

Fantastic experience: I'll apologise now for a long review but I need to include all the details so, here goes. I had a check up appointment today with Mr. Mizra, well that's what I thought anyway. I explained about a couple of issues with my teeth i.e. 2 wobbly ones of which 1 had come out but left some of the tooth behind which had caused an ulcer near to it. "Let's have a look and see see what we can do" he said. He decided to take a couple of x-rays to see what the teeth looked like and what could be done. He decided that the best course of action was to take them both out. He also explained that the tooth behind the one in the upper jaw wasn't very stable so he would take this out also. Wow, I thought, that's not what I expected, I'd thought I was only having one out. Mr. Mizra asked if that was okay and explained that I might as well have them all done today. I replied "ok, go ahead", "are you sure" was the reply "yes' I responded. The first one, which was the smallest, wasn't too bad. The next 2 were a different story especially the last one which was a large tooth. I had to ask Mr. Mizra to stop several times he said "do you need a breather" I replied "yes please". He was very kind and reassuring and kept saying "bless you". When everything was done he asked if I was ok and gave me an aftercare information sheet. We then spoke briefly about the options for new dentures to fill the gaps. He advised to let the areas heal and book another appointment in 6 weeks to talk further about the options available and make a decision. After I'd booked my next appointment and paid for today's treatment I felt a little dizzy, Kirsty told me to take a seat in the waiting room for a while until I felt better. I was also surprised at the amount I had to pay, I thought it would have been a lot more. I'd like to thank Mr. Mizra, his nurse and Kirsty for their kindness today it was much appreciated.
