Fantastic experience: I booked an appointment at Ocean Dentalcare for a second opinion from a reputable dentist. I was very impressed by the team at Ocean Dentalcare. I was given time to express concerns and every question was provided with a clear answer. The clinic is very clean and well-kept. The dentist advised me not to go ahead with the treatment advised by the first opinion but instead gave me detailed instructions about how to care for my teeth and avoid unnecessary treatments. I was so impressed by the care provided I transfered to the clinic.

I contacted the practice, and was given an appointment the following day. The dentist, Andrew, replaced it and there was no extra charge. All the staff are very professional and friendly. Fantastic experience: Cannot fault My experience with the team at Ocean. Having had poor oral Hygiene for a long time, I was terrified about my first visit but was put at ease the minute I walked in. The reception team had already spoke to my partner so we’re aware of the situation. Chris made me feel welcome and put my nerves at ease, talking to me as a human, not Just “another customer”. He designed my plan, and talked me through how we can start the recovery. Fantastic experience: I've recently returned to the area, and was really happy to come back to Ocean Dentalcare. Having put off some treatments whilst away, it was good to have Andrew provide a detailed assessment of what was needed. He's now nearly completed everything we agreed (including a root canal and two crowns). Throughout he's taken care to explain what's he's doing, and has been really thorough and reassuring. Overall, the treatment has been pain- and hassle-free, and I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew and Ocean Dentalcare.

My dentist, Christopher, is very considerate as I have a back condition that prevents me from lying flat, and is caring, polite and looks after my teeth very well indeed. The dentist, Christopher, went through my brushing technique so I could improve my daily cleaning routine and carried out a detailed appraisal of my teeth. He clearly explained issues and treatments and I booked future appointments to carry out the dental work. He sent me a record of what was discussed and a costed treatment plan. Fantastic experience: I have been to many dentists over the years and I can safely say that Andrew at Ocean Dental is fab. He has a very calm manner and takes time to listen. I recently had two wisdom teeth out, saying I was nervous is an understatement but Andrew calmly went through each step, which helped me get through it. Great with young kids too.

Negative experience: Unfortunately a ZERO stars are inevitable. Despite my constant warnings about my gum sensitivity especially in the upper part, where I can't relax because of the pain, I felt really uncomfortable during the visit, the hygienist pulled me and repeated to relax my lips, unfortunately I wouldn't be in this situation if only I will found a good dentist, result? immediately after the hygiene a huge abscess took hold in the upper part making it impossible for me to sleep and eat despite painkillers and unfortunately antibiotics. I am in this conditions from Thursday night. I'm really disappointed, frustrated and scared.

Overall, I find the staff here are knowledgable, compassionate, professional, and engaging. Many dental practices would refuse to take on a patient who is planning on going abroad for some extensive implant and bone grafting work, but at Ocean they took me on and gave me some essential advice on obtaining the proper paperwork. Andrew, my dentist, was calm and reassuring - allowed me to cry and did an excellent job - minimal pain, aftercare instructions and two days later - Im off the pain killers and able to eat reasonably well.
