Fantastic experience: Following three previous bad experiences after tooth extractions at 2 local hospitals, caused by my medical condition, and requiring further hospital intervention, I was fearing a recent extraction at St Francis Practice. However, my dentist was most understanding and reassuring, did a wonderful pain free extraction with no after effects, and even phoned the following day to ensure all was well. Well done and thankyou.

Fantastic experience: I am a nervous patient especially when visiting the hygienist. I have a real fear when the water is in my mouth going down my throat that I will choke and feel I can't swallow. The hygienist is very patient and if I get panicky I put my hand up and they stop. My recent visit there was a new nurse assisting her name was Beth Palmer she really was excellent and so patient understanding she was very good with the water in my mouth and as a result they only has to stop on 2 occasions which is a first ever for me. You have taken on an excellent young lady and I really hope she stays as she on her own made a routine appt that normally gives me massive anxiety a much more calming experience. Fantastic experience: I have always found the practice to be very friendly treating everyone as an individual. The dentists explain everything clearly, outline options when applicable and do a very professional job. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Fantastic experience: I moved house just under 11 years ago and now I live around an hour from St Francis Dental Practice. The fact that I haven’t tried to find a dentist closer to home is testimony to how good I think they are. I shall continue with them for as long as they’ll have me, or until I get too old to make the drive. This latest visit was just a routine checkup which was all fine. It’s a long way to go for a short appointment but still worth it.

Fantastic experience: I have been with the practice for many years and have always had outstanding service. The staff are friendly and helpful, they have a good chairside manner and are polite and friendly. They are always happy to answer any queries you have about treatment or the practice in general. They are local, so easy to get to and have available parking. They always send reminders for appointments. During covid they were very understanding and acomadating to our needs and requirements, and although the rest of the world was in chaos they were calm and collected. They are very professional and put nervous patients at ease (like my husband) explaining everything and happy to clarify and resolve any issues so you know what is happening and what is to be expected. They made sure that during covid the patient always came 1st and made sure our needs were met with the highest professionalism. I would recommend them to all my family and friends, however they are no longer an N.H.S practice, which is the only downside. The practice is bright and cheerful and makes you feel welcome.

Fantastic experience: My dental work is carried out through a DenPlan contract so I expect a good level of service. I had a routine appointment with the hygienist. She was very thorough and also gave some useful advice on the best way of keeping my teeth clean at home. Overall I'm happy with the level of treatment I receive from St Francis Dental Practice although I think the annual cost is a bit on the high side.

Fantastic experience: A terrific practice that I count myself lucky to have been able to join recently. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The treatment rooms are all modern and well equipped. The work I've had done has been slick, efficient and pain free. ... and to cap it all, there is decent parking within ready reach. Altogether, a very positive experience.

Positive experience: Lovely clean and modern inside, very quiet. Nice waiting area with friendly professional staff. Moved here with my dentist from another practice. Treatment rooms are spacious and bright. Just a shame that you have to walk through the doctors surgery waiting room and parking is awful.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Dental Practice - starting from mailing list, reminders and online form (super easy to fill up or book new appointment). Ladies in reception are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Always prepared for you and most of the times will recognise you as soon you walk in. I always had a top care & help from dentist or hygienist - they have time for you, everything is done as fast or slow you are willing to accept. After my first visit 2019 I moved kids on their dental plan too, and now after long queuing husband joined too. Kids are always fine with their check ups and trust their dentist.

During the pandemic my existing dentist decided to retire and so my worse nightmare was happening- I had to go to a new dentist I read a few reviews of local dentists, talked to lots of neighbours and took the plunge and registered with St. Francis dental practice in Valley Park. What a team they are! They have helped me so much! Alison is a brilliant dentist and Sarah is a superb hygienist. They both manage me well as my fear is still there but I trust them implicitly. The whole team are so friendly and relaxed. They come highly recommended by someone who has had a lifetime of dental nightmares. It’s 2023 and I’m still sticking to my appointments and am deeply grateful to the whole team.

Fantastic experience: From entering the surgery Linda puts people at ease and very knowledgeable. I have to say Doel is possibly the best dentist I have had. Doel is patient and thinks through treatments carefully, to give best outcome. Doel is also great with my daughter, who still won't speak to her but at least lets her look at her teeth :-) Keep up the great service.
