Fantastic experience: The whole team including the dentist and dental nurse showed compassion and support to help the patient reduce the pain levels they are suffering. The reception staff greeted us equally to everyone (even through our PPE) with smiles and warmth to the whole of our life situation. They were patient and enabled us to take the time we needed- this reduced the anxiety levels. We were treated like humans and not just a number. Thank you

Not so with Alexandra Dental Care, from the excellent professional understanding receptionist and equally professional Dental team who took time to allow for my disability in a timely, understanding helpful way. I would highly recommend.

I have seen a few different dentists there over the years I have been using this practice and cannot find anything detrimental to say about any of them. I would be happy to recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Amazing practice throughout! I went for a first time appointment and they were incredible! Knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming staff from the receptionist to the hygienist, dentist and nurses. I really wanted to find a 'forever practice' and I can say this is it. I was able to get an appointment over the weekend straight away with the dentist and hygienist and they could easily accommodate that for me. I would 100% recommend them.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional I had a brace fitted in my 30 s which unfortunately led to my roots being damaged so I needed 3 monthly check ups as my gum health declined through no fault of my own the hygienist kept cancelling my appointments so I changed to another hygienist who has now cancelled and rearranged my appointment from the 9th of dec to 18 Jan I am a private patient paying 17 00 a month for this service and my teeth are getting worse unfortunately I am changing dentists as of today not good enough!

Fantastic experience: I took my two granddaughters to have fillings done. Both were anxious and nervous about having them and both don’t have a needle phobia. The dentist was so lovely. She took the time to reassure the girls and was really kind and caring.

My 8 year old had a dental emergency and despite not being registered the lovely receptionist got him a same day appointment where he received amazing care. The dentist explained his future procedure in full detail and put my son and I at ease and all staff we encountered were super friendly and welcoming. We are now signed up and cannot thank the team enough.

Fantastic experience: Implant treatment – So it all started back in 2014 I was desperate to gain my smile back again! I met with George for a chat about my options as I had a gap in my teeth in my lower and upper jaw. There were 2 options – dentures or implants. At the age of 44, I really did not want to have dentures as I was only half way through life! So I went down the implant route. The first stage was to check if my bone was strong enough to take the implants. Whilst the lower jaw was fine due to an infection in my upper jaw the bone was not strong and I would need a bone graft. I was very very nervous as in one session they completed the bone graft and implants, but WOW they are so professional and George made sure I was ok through the whole procedure. Sandy was the nurse again checking every 10 seconds that I was ok. I did opt not to have sedation, but instead spend the money on something nice to celebrate the fact I had been so brave! I just had a few injections, but again George checked that I could not feel anything all through the procedure. Because I had a bone graft we now needed to leave it time to heal. Worked started on the lower jaw and again this was straight forward as my jaw was strong. The implant was placed into my jaw and then the gum was sewn-up, I had little pain from this and just took a few pain killers. We then waited for everything to settle down and for the bone to attach itself to the implant to make it good and strong. Do not rush this part a few months more without teeth does not matter, you need to make sure it heals first. It’s nearly 18 months on since I first saw George, but over the last couple of months I have had my new teeth fitted and I love them I can Smile without worrying and I can eat on both sides of my mouth. Thank you to all the staff at Alexandra for their professional care.

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk into the reception the staff are all amazing, friendly, helpful, you feel relaxed instantaneously, nice comfortable atmosphere, nurse that takes you through so lovely and friendly, my dentist really is amazing, you feel at ease at all times , nothing is to much trouble , everything is explained at all times , never thiught I would ever feel comfortable at a dentist but here is a really good place , would highly recommend Alexander dentist to anyone that needs any kind of treatment, everyone is amazing from reception to the chair ,

I don't dread going to the dentist. I actually look forward to it because I know I'll eventually get my perfect smile.

Fantastic experience: Had a amazing experience at this dentist with being a very nervous patient, from the reception team being very welcoming and kind, they made me feel calm as soon as I entered the practice. My check up and examination was 10/10. The Dental Nurse Harpreet took the time to ask very clear questions about my teeth, if I had any problems and if I was happy with them. I then also had a x-ray which was very comfortable and quick. She explained everything I needed to know and about future treatments that I can have and explained all about the health of my teeth she was very knowledgeable throughout the whole appointment. Would definitely recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: Disgusting! Being advised by staff to call back h to r next day for an emergency appt due to having an abscess which can be very serious, to wait longer than 111 NHS advised by +6 hours to be told I won’t be seen allthough I am a registered patient (just hadn’t been seen yet) but happy to take the initial fee off me! Disgusting treatment, unprofessional and potentially detrimental to my health. The smug and flippant tone of the lady on the phone to add to it. Should be ashamed! I look forward to speaking directly to owners, naming the women who I’ve dealt with and taking this further if needs be. You should be ashamed to treat people like that.
