Fantastic experience: I have just completed a 9 month plan to straighten (via Invisalign) and composite bond both top and bottom. My smile has been completely transformed.. no more hiding away during family photos!! The plan was created and delivered by Marco, who was brilliant throughout. I was kept informed about next steps, cost and future care during the treatment plan. Started here a year ago with a consultation for implants and Kris at Woodthorpe and all his staff has been the epitome of honesty, integrity and professional excellence. I'd heard so much negative chat about implants generally, in particular going abroad, I wasn't sure. But a year down the road and it's been the best decision I made. And the bonus? When I told my NHS dentist he was impressed with the standards and didn't believe the cost. Thanks!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Thorpe Dental Centre to have am implant (front tooth)! I am an extremely nervous patient and always have been. Kris Leason was very understanding and really reassured me that it would be ok and he would describe every step of the process. I embarked on a very clear treatment plan and was provided with useful information that took you through the whole process. Kris was so communicative that I knew I wanted him to do the implant. It has taken a bit of time but the end result is brilliant. I feel more confident and can’t speak highly enough about Kris and all his team. I would recommend this practice to anyone thinking of embarking on the implant journey. They are so knowledgeable. Thanks to everyone at the Centre for your support and care.

Fantastic experience: Just before Christmas I urgently needed to see a dentist so I checked the reviews and Woodthorpe dental looked very promising. I contacted them and arranged an appointment for the following day. I've now had 4 appointments and seen a hygienist over the last 6 weeks and I could not be happier. Petra, my dentist has been fantastic, in fact everyone that I've dealt with has been great. The service is first rate, I've never needed to wait more than a few minutes to be seen, everywhere is spotlessly clean and all the staff are polite, friendly and welcoming. If you need a course of treatment it is well worth asking about setting up a dental plan to help with the cost.

Fantastic experience: I've been having Invisalign and bonding work done with Marco over the last year and it has been an exceptional experience with fantastic results. Each appointment has been thorough and Marco's mix of professionalism, relatability and humour has made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. It's been a great project to focus on with multiple health benefits and has also helped with my confidence. I have immediately booked a consultation to look at my other row of teeth. I would recommend this process to anyone. Thanks to Marco and all at the practice.

Fantastic experience: Been going to this practice for a year or so now. My dentist Rosie is so kind, friendly, and helpful, and always takes time to educate and answer any questions. Today, i went in for 2 fillings, and Rosie and the nurse Faye did an amazing job making the experience as comfortable as possible.

I’ve always been afraid of dentists in the past and through my childhood/teenager years, I did not take care of my teeth as well as I should have and this resulted in a number of issues. As time went by, the issues became worse and worse. To the point where I felt that I was unable to afford treatment. I wanted to make a change and do something about my teeth before it definitely got far too late for anything to be done. I contacted Marco and had my check-up appointment and from there, the whole process has been an absolute breeze to go through. A clear and easy to follow plan was drafted after the first appointment. Care and attention to making sure I was comfortable as he could tell I was a nervous patient. Plus on top of that, incredible staff throughout the company. The multiple nurses were all very caring and helpful as well as the receptionists welcoming you with a smile. I’m 1 session away from completing my plan and it has been absolute value for money. The difference from even after the first couple of sessions was so unbelievable, I don’t feel my mouth has felt this healthy and looked this good since when I was in my earlier teens. I cannot recommend Marco enough as a dentist. I don’t know how he did it, but he made myself go from hesitating even picking up the phone to enquire about support, to looking forward to another appointment to see how much my smile can improve after the session. I honestly urge anyone who is nervous/unsure about getting treatment, particularly if it’s needed to visit this clinic. I thought with the amount of work I needed doing there’d be some pain but honestly, it was absolutely painless. Thank you Marco and Thorpe Dental Group for giving me a smile I can be happy with!

Fantastic experience: Just one whinge, 6 monthly appointments with dentist on gold plan for check ups is excessive but as there is no option for a plan with 4 hygienist appointments and 1 check up thats what I’m on. Am tempted to look elsewhere for a more flexible / less expensive option.

Fantastic experience: Really efficient and friendly staff, high tech equipment. Offer additional treatments with no hard sell. They were great with kids too. I've moved from another private dentist as the kids are registered with NHS here, and my treatment plan is £8pm cheaper here, and they are more modern. There is a tooth that I've had issues with for 18mths and was not diagnosed at previous dentist but was picked up here. I'm very happy as a new customer, hope it continues.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Practice with the most lovely, kind and caring dentists and dental nurses. My youngest has even said she wishes her dentist could be her mum! The staff on reception are always ready to help and I never have a problem getting appointments that fit round full time work. Would definitely recommend this dental practice!

Negative experience: As far as I know gums do not regenerate, thus Any damage to your gums is a very serious problem. If you are reading this and think I am a crank, it is you I want to reach the most, I plead with you to be more cynical. The staff here have done very serious permanent damage to my gums and teeth, because I assumed that people want to do a good job.

Lovely people so friendly and very efficient. My options and decision were explained and agreed. 15 minutes later a temporary crown was made and fitted. Amazing! Fantastic experience: Kris is extremely talented in all aspects of Dentistry, including Cosmetic and Implants. He is the finest Dentist I have ever been seen by. Kris and his Team provide the best care, and the Hygienist service I receive (Airflow) is brilliant and painless. All staff are professional and friendly and the whole Team make you feel relaxed. My teeth get the highest quality dental care and my mouth is kept healthy, giving me more confidence. I've had a lot of work carried out by Thorpe Dental Group - white filllings, Crowns - which are made on site, a root canal and an Implant, carried out by Dr. Kris Leeson, to get my teeth sorted out once and for all. I know that I am in safe hands coming here. This practice will preserve your teeth, look after your mouth health and additionally make you a great smile. Kris to me, is like a Tooth God. He is brilliant at what he does.

Fantastic experience: After having years of trouble trying to get on an NHS waiting list, I got to the point of giving up and I went private with Woodthorpe Dental. The decision to go with them is up there with the other best decisions I have made in life, such as marrying my wife. What an exceptional practice. Knowledgeable and friendly at every corner. 5 stars is doing them a disservice. Google need to allow me to award Woodthorpe Dental 100 supernova.

Fantastic experience: I've been well taken care of at Woodthorpe Dental Centre, having been going for several years (although occasionally chided for my less-than optimal tooth brushing regimen and technique), they are highly skilled, caring and professional with your teeth and dental hygiene here - the dentists and hygienists. All very good.

Negative experience: I was really disappointed with the service I received. I was assigned a new dentist after mine left. The new inexperienced post training dentist was not only not aware of my ailment that affects the treatment I can have, but they also tried to carry out procedures that caused me pain due to their lack of knowledge. Even after I told them to stop they queried what my ailment was all about. Surely new dentists should read through the notes when taking over patients from another dentist at the same company? I have since now been advised I need to find a new dentist elsewhere with experience, rather than being assigned to a more experienced one at the same practice. My appointment was because I needed urgent treatment due to tooth pain so I have been left suffering and dentist-less. After 20 years of using the practice I am sad to say I was cast aside and refused a refund. My father has also now left after not getting the treatment he needed. Jane was not there. I am sure she would have sorted it differently.

Fantastic experience: Receptionists are always friendly and helpful. Rob is a great dentist working to a very high standard giving practical advice and always letting you know what will happen during your visit. I would definitely recommend this dental surgery
