Negative experience: From the receptionists to the dentist, very lazy & unprofessional. Don’t waste your time or money with them. as soon as you walk in the dentist barely introduces herself or explains what she is going to do in the consultation. fine, you think maybe you can do without these, you just want them to do their job. What you can’t do without is actual basic medical and dental expertise!! When asking if I have recession, I was told by the dentist that your teeth keep growing as you age??? Adult teeth do not grow once fully out. They are bones. If that wasn’t a red flag enough, I asked her about a tooth I’ve had pain with, an old filling maybe come loose. She says to me that it’s a tricky one and that it would be too messy for her because of blood. She asked me if I really want her to bother checking the original filling? Considering she asked me this, it ran alarm bells, so I asked her “oh.. will it be a hard job? Should I not bother?” And she says yeah too much blood… ?!!!! So I go to another dentist elsewhere and they tell me the tooth is very close to needing a ROOT CANAL!!! And I need to take action NOW. The tooth was dealt with by the other place, no problem? What the hell cowboy fake degrees do the dentists have at JD??? DO NOT TRUST THIS PRACTICE. The dentist was an older lady, not a student. A full on dentist giving me incorrect dental advice, avoiding work at the expense of the patient because she couldn’t be bothered, getting basic biology wrong, so basic that any schoolchild in this country should know. If I trusted this dentist, I would’ve had serious (and more expensive) problems with my tooth. If that isn’t bordering malpractice I don’t know what is. Thank god I trusted my gut. Only wish I didn’t pay for the consultation!

Positive experience: I have used JD Dental care since they first opened, and have always had helpful and appropriate treatment and advice from them. I have recommended them to various friends who have moved to High Wycombe, as a service which is transparent in its dealings, and reasonable in its charges. Liking or loving a dentist is a hard swallow!, it's as good an experience as I have ever had whilst being uncomfortable!

I can honestly say that, if you're going to have any dental work done, minor or major, you can put your trust in JD Dental Care. Like most, I feel anxious before my appointment but any anxieties soon disappear on arrival as there's a relaxed atmosphere, you're made to feel comfortable and we've never had any issues with our treatment.

Fantastic experience: Myself, my husband and my daughter Emma have been going to JD Dental now since well before Covid. We see Dr Degun. I have to tell you that he is FANTASTIC! I am a very nervous patient, but he always puts me totally at ease. He explains everything, he is gentle, he takes his time, he is thorough and he is so caring. I don't ever want to go to another dentist. My daughter has Down syndrome, and has very strange teeth, some baby teeth and some that are still sitting in her gum although she is 39 years old. Dr Degun is amazing - he researches everything, he is kind and gentle with her and he chats constantly find out more about her and her life - and putting her at ease. He checks constantly that she is okay and explains everything so that she completely understands. Five stars for Dr Degun is not enough - 500 and 5 is more like it. He is a wonderful dentist, but now I have written this review I am worried that the whole of Buckinghamshire will want to go to JD Dental Care and there won't be space for my family (I don't think that would happen, Dr Degun is too caring for that!)

Fantastic experience: I broke a front tooth whilst staying with family locally, although I was not registered with the practice, JD gave me an emergency appointment the following day and did a fantastic job of repairing the tooth. The dentist explained the options available and the whole procedure was both professional and competent. I highly recommend this practice

Fantastic experience: One of my molars broke last year and needed extraction. I'm in the process of having a replacement implant fitted. I'm having the work done by Dr Jheeta at JD Dental Care. So far the treatment has been both friendly and professional, with clear information given at each point including good explanations of the procedures and risks. The support and desk staff are also friendly, and appointments have been available promptly without long delays. The price is in line with what I was expecting. I have just had the peg for the implant fitted, which, after the extraction itself is apparently the hardest part, and I've not had any pain or major discomfort from any of the processes. I would have no problem recommending them to others.

Negative experience: "I received an appointment reminder, but I wasn’t sure who booked it. I tried calling several times to clarify, but no one answered. Despite being told I was first in the queue, I waited over 25 minutes without a response. This level of service is disappointing, especially for a private practice. Clearer communication and better phone support are needed to improve patient experience." Would not recommend anyone and Rediculous service.

From the receptionists to the dentist Dr Degun who has the most amazing expertise. He has transformed my teeth to the level of expectations that have exceeded my very own expectations. I found that the smoothness from the practice manager to all of the receptionists who have worked in JD Dental Care have taken care of my every need at every moment whenever needed. I applaud everyone's customer service and I give it all 11 out of 10 I have been with this practice for many many years and will not change it for the world.

Positive experience: After my move to High Wycombe I was a little bit apprehensive that I wouldn’t find a good dentist , but I did when I went to JD Dental Care . I’ve been under the care of Dr D R Jheeta who has settled me in with his good personality and performance,also a great assistant.

Positive experience: I have been a patient with this clinic for many years. The current hygienist is very good and helps me managing my gum disease. I eat a really healthy diet with almost no sugar or sweeteners but have to work hard to maintain my gum health. The hygienist keeps me on track and encourages me. However, I visited my dentist today ( new one- don't know her name). Not very personable and seemed to not be aware that I already knew I had a gum health problem. She told me I had gum disease ( I know already) and said I could see a private gum health expert at £180 for the initial consultation. I told her I already see Katie the hygienist, and she was happy that I am keeping things under control. The dentist told me about surgery etc for my gums, which I am sure would be a small fortune. I was very disappointed with my visit. I expected to be encouraged for my thrice daily efforts. But she also told me my gums were receding due to too much brushing!!! Not impressed.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished my Smilelign treatment with Dr Jheeta. I started the treatment because I did not want to show my teeth when I smiled or have my photo taken. That does not worry me now! Dr Jheeta and Carolyn were lovely all the way through the process, explained every step and listened to what I had to say. I actually looked forward to my appointments and seeing my teeth move into a better position. Yes it took time but it was worth it. Thank you for my new smile. See you in 6 months for my checkup.

Positive experience: I've been at this practice for 8 years and I've been disappointed with my general experience and try to avoid as best I can. The receptionist staff are not very friendly and it feels like you're a big inconvenience to them by ringing up!! They never apologise for making a mistake (once my appointment was cancelled last minute with no apology). When you can't make the first appointment date they suggest it also appears to be an inconvenience. I'm sad to say they lack care and empathy in a profession where this is viral. The dentist and hygienist have been good on the whole. I'm now at a private, smaller practice and I feel it is much more welcoming and pleasant.

Fantastic experience: The Receptionists Mariam and Caroline, were very helpful and make you feel very comfortable when having a conversation and smoothly checking in. Also I am very happy with the results Dr Jheeta gave me with my teeth they are perfect and exactly what i wanted.

Negative experience: Worst practice in Wycombe Today I called for an emergency appointment and they asked for upfront payment claiming that’s how all private practices do which not true went to Wycombe dental centre and the only take deposit which is 40% and the rest after incase if you are not happy . Advise to people stay away from these thieves

Negative experience: Worst dental treatment plan, practitioners actually used components that are normally used on children for My adult fillings. Had to have them all REMOVED. I Can actually SMILE NOW I'VE CHANGED DENTISTS. Also removed tooth instead of actually saving it, put a crown without actually cleaning cavity and REMOVING NERVES.
