Negative experience: I requested an appointment and was given one for 6 days time, I explained I was in alot of pain. The following day I had to beg for an emergency appointment, I was seen and was given antibiotics but was failed to be told that I had an abcess which was causing the pain. The following morning after my face swelled up I had to phone 111 and got an emergency appointment at the dental hospital only then was I told that it was a burst abcess, so therfore could not have the tooth removed. The service there feels to rushed, literally in and out and there lack of emotional sympathy and observation is ridiculous. Im on a waiting list to have the tooth removed which could take up to 18 months so I am expecting to go through this trauma again as apparently they cannot remove it at the surgery which I have had done previously.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic experience we had. Despite the stress and anxiety my daughter faced at having 2 teeth removed, the dentist was incredible. He really put her at ease and got the teeth out with absolutely no problems. Would highly recommend.

The dentist showed me and explained my x-ray in depth and explained my treatment plan. I left feeling very positive and anxiety was at bay. Highly recommend. Negative experience: I’ve had impressions done twice for a plate and twice they have not been correct I have waited 2 months for the second time round still no good, I don’t understand how things can go so desperately wrong when you have your impressions done and look fine to the plate with the teeth attached is totally wrong absolutely disgusted with the service I’m not even sure if they are qualified with the service I’ve had

Negative experience: Dentist appointment today the 6th of May 11:20 . Sat on the chair for less than 1 minute Dentist asked " what are you here for" ...they could not find my records , I have attempted to explain that I had extensive work and was advised to see a Dentist every 6 months form previous treatment. Dentist asked if I had any symptoms, 10 seconds check up and asked me to leave ..the worse is I was asked to pay 27 pounds for that ? On previous appointments the dentist took 10 15 m she was very thorough. I am extremely disappointed today. Thanks Joao Peixoto

Fantastic experience: Got a same day appointment, by friendly reception staff. Both nurse and dentist were very compassionate, no pain or discomfort, X-rays done promptly to find decay under a filling, causing the pain I had suffered for a week. Antibiotics prescription given to me without having to ask. I would go back to Sheldon Dentist if I needed to, and would recommend to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: I had a deep cleaning and stain removal done first, which made a huge difference. After that, I saw Dr. Zarghoona Bano for a full assessment, and she was really helpful. I wanted to get my front tooth sorted before Ramadhan, and she made it happen by starting early the next day, which I really appreciated. She fixed the old bonding that was stained, and now everything looks natural. Really happy with the results and the care I received.

Negative experience: The outside of the building is awful - hanging pipes and rotting windows. Parking is just as dreadful - waterlogged grass and flooded tarmac. The entrance is hard narrow and the placement of the bins don’t help!!

Fantastic experience: I went to see Sunandita Bose today. I must state I'm a real whimp when it comes to dental work. After initial pleasantries she commenced my treatment, due to unforseen circumstances it identified one of my teeth needed to be extracted. I was physically shaking and the thought of having it removed at a later date was awful. I said I'd make myself ill if I had to sit for days waiting for it to be removed. If that was the case I wanted to be put to sleep as this was the reason for my fear of dentists. I then was cheeky and said can't you just take it out now so I don't have time to stew over it. She agreed. I never felt a thing. Her care and understanding was outstanding and I cannot thank her enough. Thanks again!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Yesterday I saw a lady dentist who was really upset at the state of my dentures .I have been without dentures since July and have had umpteen impressions and fittings and still no teeth !!! I would like this lady to continue my treatment and feel confident she will help me.Unfortunately I didn't get her name .She took a lot of photos so lets see if I can get teeth soon. Janet Greenhill

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr Malik today.. he extracted a tooth I had been having discomfort with for a while. I had delayed the extraction as it was my lower wisdom tooth which I imagined would be an ordeal. However, Dr Malik was very kind and professional, he numbed the area perfectly, I felt nothing and it was out quite quickly. The dental nurse was great also, she didnt suck my tongue up or choke me like many have in the past Great aftercare advice given also, would definitely recommend 5* Thank you

Negative experience: I had an appointment booked for 11:30 on 27/09/2024. Receptionist booked me in. There was another lady before me. After a long wait I went back downstairs to ask Receptionist what was going on because six people came in after me and all of them were seen by the dentists. She confirmed the people who had appointments after me they were seen by the dentists. Finally I was called in I asked very politely the same question to my dentist why she gave priority others on me. She couldn't say anything. I was the only one left in the surgery waiting for the treatment. I didn't like the attitude of the dentist and refused to be seen by her. The difference between me and other patients was my skin colour. I am brown. Any body wants to join the surgery bare in mind you may have to wait longer because of your skin colour. Very very disappointed

Fantastic experience: Great the dentist is good but just need to be a bit more careful with people's gums cuz some people gums are very sensitive and can be sore

Negative experience: Really poor experience. Paid for a 20 min appointment - was in there less than 10 mins! My teeth did not get a proper scale and polish like I have had from hygienists in the past. I will not visit a hygienist here again.

Negative experience: Registered here and went for 1st appointment however was kept waiting over 45 mins with toothache as dentist was running late! Only to be sat in the chair for 20 mins whilst the "nurse" looked for filling material all over the building! Absolutely farcical, wouldn't trust them to carry out any dental work, seriously.

Negative experience: Not happy about how they take the payments they over charged me and told me they will put it in credit and when I came for my next appointment they told me I owed them more money despite me showing the receipt very bd payment system, I will be taking my bank statements to show what I’ve paid so far.

Negative experience: Very unhappy so I have switched dentists. I had been coming here since the 1980s but last couple of appointments were cancelled and I kept having to rebook. Then I had a hygienist appointment which they tried to cancel as I believe I was the only patient instead they said a dentist would do it. She was clearly unaware that I was there for a hygienist appointment but did the procedure which I was then charged £79 for. My next dentist appointment on 11th May was cancelled I was sent text message to reschedule which I did not respond to. I moved to another dentist. I have just had a hygienist appointment at my new dentist and was charged £54.

Negative experience: Joined this dental practice September 2023 and had to go private as there was no NHS availability which was absolutely fine by me.First couple of appointments were fine and had some work done which I was pleased with. After that the cancellation of appointments started to happen.Once with the hygienist which I did not get told about until I actually arrived for my appointment and twice with the dentist. Can't get through on the phone so had to enquire in person only to be told the private dentist is only working Wednesday and 1 in 4 Saturdays. Why was this information not given to me? All in all avoid this place.
